Most incredible safari ever! Trip of a lifetime
5/5

Our trip to Kenya with Ramjas Safari was truly a bucket list experience.

From the start, Steven was fantastic—so responsive, patient, and informative via WhatsApp. I work in luxury hospitality, so that level of service really stood out and set the tone for the entire trip. We shared our budget and he curated the perfect 6-day itinerary for me, my husband, two friends, and my 74year old mother.

When we landed in Nairobi, our guide Patrick picked us up, and we instantly felt at ease. Warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, he made us feel in the best hands from day one.

We began in Amboseli at the lovely Kibo Camp, where the staff were so welcoming. Watching herds of elephants roam beneath a stunning sunset was pure magic.

Next stop was Sopa Resort at Lake Naivasha! It didn’t feel like a typical three star hotel thanks to the beautiful grounds, where giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife wandered freely. Just stunning (felt like a country club in a way) and wish we could of stayed longer.

Then came the grand finale - the Masai Mara. A true bucket list destination, and the perfect ending. Patrick went above and beyond to make sure we saw every animal on our list—especially lions! His knowledge, patience, kindness and flexibility made all the difference. We stayed at the Masai Mara Camp, which struck the perfect balance between modern comfort and authenticity. The hot air balloon ride Patrick arranged for us was also unforgettable.

Even on the long drives, Patrick was so thoughtful, always finding the cleanest rest stops, which my mother especially appreciated!

Back in Nairobi, we had lunch at Carnivore with both Patrick and Steven before heading to the airport. Saying goodbye to Patrick and to Kenya was very emotional. Every one of us, even my husband, shed a tear.

Ramjas Safaris exceeded every expectation. Steven and Patrick were truly the best, and everyone we met along the way had the warmest, kindest spirit. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already planning our return, hopefully to explore Northern Kenya next time. Couldn’t recommend Ramjas Safari more highly. Thank you for everything!

Amazing!
5/5

Incredible experience with Safari Tour company in December 2024! Ngorongoro and Serengeti were breathtaking. The service and hospitality were excellent. Our guide, Alexander, was outstanding – so knowledgeable and made the trip truly special. We definitely got more than we paid for and can't wait to return! Highly recommend.

Bariki was informative, kind, incredibly helpful, and all around an incredible guide.
5/5

The tour was absolutely fantastic — from our guide, Bariki, to the lodge we stayed at, we had the absolute best time. We were able to learn so much about the area, the animals, the culture, and the country. We’re incredibly thankful that Bariki somehow found so many things we didn’t think we’d get the chance to see (lion cubs! a leopard!), and we had the best experience possible. Would strongly recommend!

Amazing safari experience!

The Most Amazing Safari Experience with Mountain Warriors, John & Miriam

We had the most unforgettable 5-day safari with John from Mountain Warriors—it was truly beyond anything we could have imagined! We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Crater, and every day was packed with amazing landscapes & adventure.

Our absolute favourites were the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We were incredibly lucky to see the Big Five, including lion cubs, leopard cubs, a cheetah family, and the wildebeest migration. The amount of wildlife we saw—zebras, gazelles, elephants, hippos, and more—was just incredible.

The safari vehicle was very comfortable, and John was an exceptional guide. His knowledge, patience, and determination to find animals made the whole experience so special.

We spent two nights camping and two nights in a lodge. The camping experiences were something we’ll never forget—especially at Ngorongoro, where we shared the camp with buffalos and zebras roaming freely around tents. It was surreal how calm and peaceful they were, even just between the tents & next to people.

Tips for future travellers:
* Bring a good torch/flashlight—there’s a lot of action at night you won’t want to miss!
* Don’t leave clothes or shoes outside your tent—buffalos chewed up my daughter’s towel!
* Pack very warm clothes for the Ngorongoro area—nights get cold!
* And don’t worry if you’re nervous about camping—the tents were very clean and fully waterproof.

This was truly the trip of a lifetime. We can’t recommend Mountain Warriors and John enough—thank you for an extraordinary adventure!
Huge thanks to Miriam for our delicious, freshly cooked food everyday: pancakes & swahilli food meals. It was really special!

Super Eagles was super flexible and professional, they also responded my questions quickly :)
5/5

I booked a 10 days budget safari in Kenya and Tanzania with Super Eagles, the communication with Chanson was smooth and he also responded my questions quickly. The tour was well organised and everything goes accordingly to plan :) they are also super flexible in everything and they also have the best price among the other company haha. The safari was amazing and we got to see so many animals, especially in Tanzania at this season. The camping experience was also very special for me. I had a very great trip with them and highly recommend to everyone :)

Very communicative and sorted everything we could need.
5/5

We as a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a 7 year old) took a 5 day safari with Mountain Warriors with John as our guide covering the serengeti, Tarangire National Park Tanzania, ngorongoro crater and lake manyara.

This was a trip of a lifetime made even more memorable by John our guide, I highly suggest choosing the camping on the serengeti and negoragora crater as they for me were one of the higlihjts of the trip. I cannot recommend mountain warriors and John in particular to take your safari with. We got to see all the Big 5 and Ugly 5 and the knowledge passed on by John was great the serengeti is huge so there will be periods of time you will see no animals but even during those times the ambeaunce is amazing and you will soak it all in. One piece of advice, don't leave things hanging to dry outside your tent because the buffalo or hyenas will eat them 😂😂

Fantastic and adventurous
5/5

When we first looked at the price we were very iffy.
When we first met our tourguide (john) he was extremely exited to meet us and we went on. Our tourguide was happily bringing us around and happy to explain everything.
We saw the big 5 including the baby versions which was very nice.
We had breakfast every morning from 6-8 and the shef was also very kind and we had delicious food.
In the end I would say that it is completely worth it, John was the best and I give it a 5/5!!

The most wonderful possible experiences with the least possible aggravation
5/5

There are a handful of experiences in life that are so detailed and compelling that they defy easy description--to talk about one thing is to leave out another. For the wildlife enthusiast, who wishes to not just see animals but learn about their behavior at the same time, the most essential people are the guides. In four different camps, albeit all with Machaba in Botswana, our guides were among the most extraordinary people I have ever met. Their lives, education and passions all revolved around wildlife--they were living their happiest lives. "Q, How many of the 452 birds in this book can you identify?" A. "All of them--by sight and sound." No idle boast. From the smallest dung beetle to the largest elephant, our amazing guides were the backbone of the entire trip.

The other stuff was also great--the food, the accommodations (including the elephant right outside the tent on our first night), and the ease of pick ups and drop offs. Botswana is also a wonderful country. Africa's longest-enduring democracy, the people are relatively prosperous. The country has made a real commitment to extensively preserving land and wildlife, and making sure the tourist dollars spent are received by the people. Hey, the Botswana military mostly does anti-poaching work! We were there for over two eeks and did not see a single firearm displayed on anyone--quite a change from the USA. It is impossible to praise this trip enough.
