Martin was always quick to respond and although there are so many companies to choose from we are so thankful we chose Earthwings..! What an experience we will never forget.! Martin and Johnson (who was our tour for our adventure) picked us up from a friends house in Nairobi in the 4x4 and although we originally chose the minivan we are SO glad we spent a little more and had the massive Jeep..! The journey was 5 plus hours with food/drink/toilet stops on the way - just make sure you bargain at the shops if you want to buy anything - one rule we forgot at the first shop..!
The jeep was so spacious and just what we needed for the days adventures on safari..! Johnson was such a friendly, knowledgeable guy who was happy to do what we liked and took us to all these amazing areas of the Mara..! We were so lucky to not only see leopard with prey in a tree, cheetahs and a cub, but also lions eating a hippo with lots of hyaenas around! So grateful to him..! We had 2 kids aged 13 and 8 and they enjoyed every moment..! Thanks for the best Safari I’ve ever been on..!
One quick thought - REMEMBER to take your passports! We didn’t get told but thankfully our friends could take photos and WhatsApp them to us..! The entry to the Masai Mara and the camp we stayed at, needed them..! The camp that Earthwings used, Ashnil Mara camp was AMAZING..! Great staff, great pool for afternoon dips in between the safari..! Thanks Martin and Johnson..!

My family and I had an amazing experience under Gideon's splendid experience on game touring. Gideon took us for a day game drive to Moremi National Park and little did we know that we were going to have an experience of our life time through his guiding skills and thanks to his sharp eyes which enabled us to see a Leopard and its young one. Gideon and his colleague he was with that are very calm, patient, educative and were really out for the occasion. Gideon's vast experience in safaris for over 30 years gives him a unique flavor that made our experience to be the best compared to many other game drives we have done before in Zimbabwe and Namibia. Happy for us, on that day, we were able to see four members of the big five family. We give credit to Gideon.
We are planning for a camp out with African Jacana Safari Tours and we hope to learn more and have an enhanced feel of the wild.

And she is over all a pleasant person that goes out of her way to assist

Most horrible organization and client servize management that we have ever experienced

We booked a 3 day safari with this organization to Mikumi. The offer was this:
- 6 hours travel from Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi with lunch then Masai village tour
- full day PRIVATE safari
- full day Udzungwa mountain hiking tour
- 4th day go back to Dar Es Salaam
Drinks, breakfast, lunch, dinners included everything for 1000$ for 2 people (2022 price)
Reality:
- 6 hours trip became 9 hours with really short 20 mins break because we did not want to waste time. Rush to the masai village tour. We signed to the organizer the same night that there are huge differences between 6 hours and 9 hours in a car and on our last day we need to catch a ferry which would not work with this long trip. Asked to change for flight or find some solution...
- next morning it turned out that the Private tour is not private however we booked private tour. Midday I wrote next email about it that basically nothing is the same as in the offer and we would like to find a solution, ask some compensation, or do sg.(dont even talk about the hotel where we were... dirty hot water, airconditioner so noisy that we cant use, etc.) After few hours they wrote back a totally attacking email that everything payed in advance and they will not change the travel for flight because its few thousand dollars. (we asked other guides and they said a 1 way flight to Zanzibar is 120$/person so they didnt even try to ask about fligh possibilities). so generally instead of trying to find solution for our problem they just made nothing. I even asked them to cancel the hiking program and take us back to Dar Es Salaam earlier, give back some money and just forget each other. No answer at all...
- so 3rd day what to do, we went to the full day hiking program. well it turned out that it is only a few hours program, we left the hotel at 8:30 and arrived back to the village at midday (45 mins trip by car). At least the guide adviced a snake farm program that obviously we needed to pay for extra, but at least we could do something. Still we arrived back to the hotel at 1pm... no lunch, no possibility to go out to the village, no activity possibilities in the hotel. basically we could just sit in the bar and drink...
After all of this I have asked some compensation because basically nothing happened on the way that we booked. No private tour, no full day hiking, 9 hours trip instead of 6 hours and really-really-really horrible client service management. So we had soooo much nervousness during those few days... Obiously they just wrote back an attacking email again and thats it. In the last night my wife was even crying because of the organization...
Anyway the qulity of the programs were okey, the guides made really good job, but this is totally not depending on the organizer...
So in sum, DO NOT BOOK with these guys if you are expecting correct client service and programs that you booked and you expect. DONT pay 100% in advance. That was our mistake too, because otherway they would be much helpfull for sure if we pay for example just 70% in advance and rest in the end of safari. For them only the money is important. After they got it, they give a shit about you, does not matter if you are complaining about something.
I hate to write negative feedback, I even offered them that i will not write anything in case of compensation but it seems the reputation is not so important for them in the 21st century... So I really hope that others will not make the same mistake as us of booking safari tour with this organization.

The most efficient company I have ever dealt with
Absolutely amazing experience. Zohar are a fantastic company to deal with. Everything was flawless, we had several zoom calls with Lillian before we arrived in Tanzania and were provided with a full detailed itinerary weeks in advance, which was very well structured with a good mix of safari and cultural activities. It covered all our family needs which is no easy feat with a family of two adults and four kids ranging from 7 - 13. We had a briefing with company staff members on arrival and they kept in daily contact with us through a WhatsApp group which was set up for our travels.
Tom, our guide was exceptional, he was so knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure that we saw all the animals and shared vast knowledge of the wildlife and local culture. He was fantastic with the kids, they soaked up all the information he shared with them.
Accommodation, food, safari, cultural visits and beach holiday to Zanzibar were all excellent. I would highly recommend Zohar. You need to put this on your bucket list, it’s a must for anyone wanting to visit Tanzania. My family and I have made life long friends and memories.

A Lovely holiday experience around Kenya

I lived in Singida, Tanzania for two years. "Masswe Adventures," a travel agency recommended by my best friend Nari.
I live in Uganda now. So I can say more powerfully. It's about how great this travel agency is and how wonderful Tanzania National Park is.
First of all, the Masswe staff never disappoints me. They are really good at spotting animals. I could see so many Big5 animals while traveling.
And how good cars are. Usually, if the car is bad, you can fight for a good seat, but this travel agency's car has all the seats are good, so everyone can go comfortably.
I went to the largest Murchins fall national park in Uganda.. but I realized that what Masswe Travel Agency offers was a really perfect place.
The food, services, cars, and staff provided by MassaweTravel Agency are not only good but perfect.
I also want to recommend this company to my precious people!!!
I wish Uganda had a travel agency like Massawe :)

Clear communication and an exciting ride!
I needed some accommodation for the trip so I emailed them a few months before. They were flexible about my needs and the communication went really smooth and everything was clear. Planning went well. I was expecting the unexpected on the day of the trip, but our guide Jed was super knowledgeable about the experience so I felt taken care of. We had interesting conversations during the lunch stop as well! I hope Jed is doing well, and absolutely recommend this tour.

This was an amazing experience!!
We were originally supposed to fly into Nairobi the day before the 5-day Safari begun, but our flights delayed and we arrived in Nairobi at 5:20am, barely 2 hours before we were originally supposed to be picked up from the hotel.
Axis arranged airport pick up which went smoothly, the cab arrived just about 15minutes after we called Lennoxx (our focal point). We had all our bags from our previous trip and were quiet worried they wouldn’t fit in the Safari car but Axis were very helpful - some of our bags were stored safely in their office and space was created in the trunk for our remaining large bags.
We booked the Land Cruiser (which is definitely a better option for the Safari) which seats 8 people including the tour guide - our family size was 7 (including the tour guide). We set off around 8:20am and immediately we took off, I knew it was going to be a fun trip - Kikitu our tour guide got us started with jokes and we couldn’t help but laugh though we were very sleepy.
