Fantastic safari - great company to travel with!
5/5

The safari game drives were incredible, and the whole tour was faultless from the start and the quote and booking process was so easy. Bartho was great - reliable and really informative with the planning and details, as well as answering any questions. Our guide, Maliaki, was excellent at giving us info on the nature and wildlife we saw and made sure we got to see as much as possible. The cook, Sule, was also fantastic - there was always plenty of food (all very good food!) and he catered for all of our different food requests and requirements. They all worked really hard to make sure the safari was the best it could be, and were all really friendly - would definitely recommend this company!

Eyes on Serengeti are so professional and everything ran very smoothly.
5/5

We did a 5 night and 6 day safari with Eyes on Serengeti in January 2020 and it was absolutely unbelievable beautiful.

While planning our trip and after searching through the web and contacting several safari operators we chose Eyes on Serengeti.
They were the most prompt and detailed in their replies and they were more than happy to assist with personalising a private safari experience for 2, as we already had a rough itinerary worked out of places we wished to visit.

On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport we were greeted by Richard, one of the owners, who we were in constant contact with through WhatsApp, before and during the safari. When we met we straight away got on very well, he’s just a really nice guy.

The next day we set off and first visit was the Tarangire National Park where we saw many animals though mostly I enjoyed watching the elephants taking a bath in a large pond which was such fun.
Then Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area for a day, next day to Lake Masek and 2 days in the Serengeti plains. All of them are astonishing places.

There is quite a bit of driving between the parks, as they’re all a few hours apart, but our Toyota Landcruiser was modern, very clean and well maintained. The top popped up so that you could stand and see all around you and the extra hight really gives you a better view.

Godwin is exceptional, he is so familiar with all the wildlife and could anticipate how the animals would behave which meant that he always managed to steer our jeep into prime viewing position. I don’t know how he did it, but he was able to spot animals from very far distances as he was manoeuvring the jeep over very bumpy roads. He has a very good knowledge on all the different wildlife and ecosystems and answered our question about the culture, government and history of Tanzania, too.

I guess the wildlife sightings will be different for every trip depending on what’s around, but we literally got to see every animal we could have wished to see: giraffes, elephants, hippos, and even rhinos. As we were there for the migration we saw many many zebras, gazelles, wildebeests and cheetahs, hyenas and lions following them.

Godwin was great at knowing where to look for specific animals and gave us plenty of time once we spotted them to take pictures and observe. It really was amazing to see these animals out in the wild.

Eyes on Serengeti offers a variety of different accommodations at various price levels. We found our choices, to be pristine - some had showers open to the sky, I thought this was great.
The food was delicious and plenty and beer and wine was also included in the room rate. The staff and service is outstanding, the Tanzanians are all so friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

Overall it was an absolutely unforgettable trip.

I cannot recommend Eyes on Serengeti more highly! They were always responsive and helpful with all our crazy questions. They were so professional and everything ran very smoothly.

Extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
5/5

Faisal would supply us with information even outside the safari tour to help make sure we had a wonderful time in South Africa. His guide in Kruger national park “Pete” is a very special man who was an unbelievable guide. Luckily we were able to see all the big 5 in one day! If you’re staying in SA and want to safari definitely call Busch Explorers!

SAFARI EXPECTATIONS MET
Jadi safaris is the best place to meet your safari expectations and have fun in many amazing ways. My experience with jadi safaris was great from the first emails, the pick up and drop off in town. With jadi safaris i was able to get a chance to see all the big fives at Amboseli National Park and had a close view of Mt kilimanjaro. I recommend jadi safaris for all who wanna travel around East Africa.

7 amazing days of seeing gorillas, chimpanzees, lions hunting, and the amazing landscape of Rwanda/U
5/5

I did a 7 day tour with Ronald to see the gorillas at Volcanoes and Bwindi, game drive and lions hunting in Kazinga National Park (Queen Elizabeth), and Kibale for the chimpanzees and night walk to see the bush babies (I saw 13! Thomas and Demidoff's galagos). All of it was amazing to see and enhanced by a flawless and super fun guided tour by Ronald. Ronald makes sure to answer questions prior to your trip in a timely manner and makes you feel secure about your travel plans. I met a number of travelers that had terrible guide experiences, so be sure to get a reputable guide especially when spending so much on Gorilla permits! Throughout the trip, Ronald and intern Bella were so much fun and full of information on all things Uganda/Rwanda and the areas where we traveled. As a solo traveler, I always appreciate guides that make you feel like a fast friend - we laughed and conversed on so many interesting topics. All of the hotels, especially at Bwindi and Kazinga, were amazing with great food and staff. I am already looking forward to another trip with Kajie and will be highly recommending them to any friends looking to travel in Uganda!

Great Experience - From beginning to End
5/5

My daughter and I had a great experience with Milestone and I highly recommend them. We had a successful climb (early August), ascending via the Rongai route and descending via Marangu. The weather was great and we had a beautiful morning on the summit. The entire 6 days were fabulous.
Planning for the trip went very smoothly. Sophia, our contact for arranging the trip, was a pleasure to work with. She replied to emails promptly and answered all the questions that came up. For the climb, Milestone assembled a terrific crew. Our guides Mudy and David were wonderful companions and always willing to carry on conversation as we hiked or while in camp. They set a good pace throughout the climb and kept an eye on us so we were in good shape for the day – I should say night – of the ascent. Food along the way was outstanding and plentiful. The cook, Amani, prepared delicious meals with variety. The head porter, Sheddy, was extremely attentive, kind and fun. He spoiled us with all the attention he gave us. The 9 porters that made up the rest of the crew were all very pleasant and we enjoyed their company. The route required tents. The camping equipment was v. good and was always set up and ready when we arrived in camp. As climbs are organized, different combinations of guides, cooks and porters are recruited. I got the impression that Milestone hires highly dependable people.
Having Milestone take care of the adventure from start to finish, including travel from and to the airport and arranging our stay the nights before and after the climb, was very convenient. Their price was around the average compared to other companies I reviewed. The Honey Badger Lodge where we stayed was very pleasant. We were very happy with Milestone all around.

A great private honeymoon experience in Kenya!
5/5

We had such a great time in Kenya. Thank you very much Charlie's travel for helping us organize this part of our honeymoon trip.

We didn't have so much time in Kenia but because of Charlie's we made the most of all the 5 days we had here. From visiting Sheldrick Elephant orphanage, downtown Nairobi with the locals and motorcycle safari in Amboseli National Park. The highlight was flying to Amboseli with a small plane where we saw Mount Kilimanjaro, elephants from the sky and zebra's crossing the landing strip!

Every bit of the trip was so well arranged and because it was our honeymoon we had everything private which was really nice. Thanks again for the great adventures, we'll never forget this experience!

Experience the Great Migration
5/5

Dealing with Seven wonders and Evelyn to arrange my safari for the great migration was a pleasure. I booked within 2 days of arriving in the country and everything was handled from airport pick up right down to the drop off. The experience of visually seeing the great migration was humbling and profound. We were lucky we saw the big five and also an array of rare birds. If you choose to do the overnight camping rather than the lodge options its perhaps more comfortable to bring a few items such as torch, sleeping bag and repellent. An unforgettable experience.
