About: Topy Tours
Very nice tour and excellent service around
5/5

I looked around for a 3-day tour to Ngorogoro, Tarangire and lake Manyara and found Topy Tours through good reviews. I wasn't disappointed, Jackson set me up for a great tour and also organized everything around it, from hotels and airport transfer to even getting me a local SIM card for the rest of my stay in Tansania. I can get warmly recommend him and Topy Tours in general. Thank you, Asante!

5-star experience & service
5/5

This was our first-time safari in Kenya planned in the middle of the pandemic and we did not know what to expect. Like some other reviewers, I have also exchanged 100+ emails with Tiago, our journey designer, and he always had a prompt, detailed and kind reply to every question or concern. This was in stark contrast to other operators I contacted who either took several days to reply or provided incomplete or ambiguous answers. Moreover, during our trip it also turned out that each of Tiago's answers was truthful and accurate. Tiago is really fantastic at his job and we are so grateful for his help with the planning.

We have selected a modified 6-day Into the Wild safari in Kenya. We have visited Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. This was a well-planned but intensive itinerary with fantastic sights and experiences. Our guide, Karasha, was fabulous. He was very experienced, knowledgeable and kind. Even though we did not have high expectations regarding the animal sightings, he showed us all animals we could have dreamed of seeing. Often, we were the only one or one of the few vehicles during a sighting.
Karasha has also told us a lot about the Kenyan history, tribal relations, politics, education system, environmental issues and so on. He showed a very high level of education and awareness of various issues. Even when speaking about controversial or problematic issues he spoke in a neutral and empathetic way. He was kind to everyone we met on the way, waving to children in villages, laughing with guards and other guides and was also very patient and friendly with us. Karasha is such a talented guide with a wonderful character and I cannot recommend him strongly enough!
Last but not least, Karasha is a very skilled and safe driver! We travelled many hours on the country roads with young children and we felt very safe.

We felt very fortunate to have found Spirit of Kenya. They allowed us to build a custom private safari at prices similar to big package companies. They have recommended only 2-3 accommodation options for each park and they were truly fantastic. Ilkeliani camp in Masai Mara was the most incredible and intimate place with the most amazing 5-star service I have ever experienced. I would not have found it without Spirit.

Spirit of Kenya truly provides a high quality service across all areas and does not save money at the expense of travelers. You will get great planning advice, a very good vehicle, an amazing guide, high-end binoculars, great accommodation options, great food and so on. They know everything and know how to offer the best experience to their clients. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Frank and team are professional, responsive, and deliver desired travel in Rwanda.
5/5

Booked back-to-back tours with gorilla trecking in Volcanoes National Park, and big five safari in Akagera National Park. Golden Rwanda Safaris were flexible and provided professional guidance and tour guides to make my dream gorilla trecking and big game African photo safari come true. For gorillas we spent an hour with a 22-member gorilla family as they eat and played, which included two silverbacks, two babies, and other varying aged gorillas and were supported by national park guides and excellent trackers. For big game safari, saw many, many wild animals and birds throughout the park on both day and night tours. Spent two nights at each location. Accommodations and food were excellent. Felt safe and secure at all times.

We would do it again in a heartbeat
5/5

We had a wonderful time with African Big Cats Safaris. On our two day safari to Tarangire and Norongoro Crater we saw about 25 different kinds of animals. Our guide Obedi was very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced in regards to animal behavior, so that we got very close to many of them and had and unforgettable experience. The lunches and the lodge were excellent as well.

Hey there! I'm Jacenta from Simply travel with Jacenta.

I worked with EBS to host my first group trip for foreign travelers to Uganda.

Being my first time to host, I honestly have to credit EBS (David the owner & Shafiq the guide) for being the top reason why my trip went on so well for my guests and myself.

I highly recommend you trust them to handle your Safari in Uganda and I assure you that you won't regret.

I also highly recommend you request then to give you Shafiq as your guide coz he is exceptional and fun to be around as well.

Reliable and Trusted. Amazing African Adventure
5/5

our experience with Gecko Tanzania Adventures was fantastic. We went with them on a six day safari trip to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and it was perfect.
Rama had arranged all logistics, hotels, permits so that the operations ran smoothly.
We had a nice adventure to see so many different kinds of wildlife, birds and beautiful landscapes.
The lodges were beautiful and we had excellent rest areas.
We will definitely book with Gecko Tanzania on my next trip.

Perfect organisation of safari and mountain climbing
5/5

We did a 11 day trip to Tanzania to climb Mount Meru and a 3 day Safari to 3 parks. We were very happy with the organisation and communication, the guides, who were very nice, always in a good mood and spoke very well English resp. German and the hotels. In the parks we saw lots of animals including very close lions. We hope to come back for another tour !

Philo and Paul are fair, reliable, highly professional and warm hearted.

Very best Safari with African Savannah Trekkers
My son and I had our first Safari , 8 days in June 2022. Philomena had arranged it beautifully, according to our many detailed e-mail conversations. She was service minded and open to our requests, as well as patient with our many questions.
When we actually met with Philo in Tanzania, she impressed me with her high professionalism, integrity and sweet concern. Philo looked after us when we arrived in Arusha. She was in touch over the phone a few times during the actual Safari week. And she came to see us well off, on the day of our departure.
Safari gamedrives, accommodations, meals and lunch boxes were all very fine.
Especially our skilled driver and excellent guide, Paul, made the actual 8 day Safari an experience of a lifetime, for me.
Being an elderly person from Denmark , I was initially a bit apprehensive, about contacting and dealing with a local African provider of Safari, on the internet. However, I found both Philo and Paul most trustworthy. And I felt safe and taken care of from the very first day, when we landed at Kilimanjaro Airport.
Day 1 on the Safari Paul took us on a gamedrive to Tarangire National Park. Here we saw a lion couple, an elephant family with calfs close up, an old male elephant who took a nap, and several giraffes. As well as many Zebra herds alongside with Wildebeest and Gazelles. Plus a very, very old Baobab tree. In Tarangire we had the highest concentration of wildlife encounters, during the whole Safari.
We spent the night at Karatu Lodge, Marera Valley, which was booked as a middle range accommodation. To my standard it was luxurious. The staff was kind, and food was delicious. Our cottage was comfortable, with a beautiful view over a coffee plantation and the hills.
Day 2, on our way to Serengeti , we visited the arcaological museum at Olduvai Gorge. The site is the assumed cradle of Homo Sapiens. Very interesting, facinating and educational . We spent the night at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 3 - 5 we went to Serengeti National Park. Our gamedrives went through only part of Central Serengeti, but still covered a vast area. We stayed two nights at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp. A very charming accommodation in midst of the Savannah, with a fine long distance view.
In the early mornings and in the evening, a Masai accompanied us to and fro, between the restaurant and our luxury tented shelter. He carried a tall stick and a torch. That was assuring, when darkness had fallen on the Savannah.
On the gamedrives in the Serengeti, we got many close up photos of elephants, giraffes, lions and cheetaes. As well as (to us) exotic birds.
All thanks to our highly experienced guide Paul. He managed to track the wildlife and position the vehicle. This way we got fine photos, even though our only photo equipment was a mobilephone. We even saw several leopards, at relatively short distance. Paul made every gamedrive a uniqe experience.
As a Safari guide Paul is really one in a million. He has huge knowledge of the local wildlife, and a fine sense of how to get near shy creatures. Any question from us about flora or fauna, that he might not have an immediate answer to, he would soon look up and clarify. Paul was allways attentative and in a good mood, during the whole trip.
Paul possesses a rare combination of professionalism and an ability to relate on a personal level. Without becoming private. I much appreciated his good company.
Day 6 - 8 in the morning we had gamedrive in Serengeti, and later the same day went to Ngorongoro Highlands.
We spent one night at Rhino Lodge. The accommodation and food was very good, and the staff friendly and helpfull. In the highlands it was rainy and a bit cold. So it was nice, when the staff lit a fireplace in our room, for the night. The next night we spent at Karatu Lodge, once again. Still very fine.
The last two days of the Safari we entered Ngorongoro Crater. You go down 600 meters into the caldera. Down and out of the morning mist, we saw lush greenery everywhere.
I was fascinated by driving around among the wildlife, with the crater walls / hills towering above, all around. There are several freshwater springs in the crater, which sustain wildlife. We saw elephant herds, giraffes and baboons on the slopes. On the crater floor we saw the now familar herds of horned and hoofed animals. Including hippoes in the swamps.
In the soda lake there were floks of flamingoes. We followed a lion couple close up. And we even saw a big Rhino at some distance. At that point we had ticked off, all of The Big Five 
I feel lucky, that we chose African Savannah Trekkers, amongst the many providers of Safari Tours. It was a privilege to meet Philo, and to spend time with Paul on the gamedrives. Asante sana !
I hope, that their boss shows them deserved appreciation, for their dedicated work in the team. They must be an invaluable contribution to the business firm.
