MoAfrika was easy to communicate with
5/5

My group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our Pilanesburg tour. Our guide @Buffalo_Soldier was very knowledgable and passionate about the animals. We learned so much and will never forget the animals we saw or the beauty of the savanna.

Outstanding private safari
5/5

We did a 5 day / 4 night private safari with Gosheni Safaris, starting at Ngorongoro, through Central Serengeti, and with 2 nights in the Ndutu area where the animals were slowly making their way. It was an absolutely surreal experience, easily one of the best my husband and I have had (and we've travelled a fair bit). In large part, this was thanks to our Safari guide, William: his deep knowledge and long experience of the Serengeti, its animals, and surrounding areas; his patience, good humour and flexibility; his fantastic skills at handling the vehicle and the bumpy roads; and a very clear desire to show us the very best this stunning scenery had to offer. We researched many companies before choosing this one (there are 1000+ in Arusha alone!), and would not hesitate wholeheartedly recommending William or Gosheni, especially as a local company that has been diligently built from the ground up by the owner, Peter, and the entire staff thanks to their good service. From the moment you step into Gosheni's base in Arusha -- and even before, via email -- you will feel like you are in extremly capable and safe hands. Overall, a trip of a lifetime and worth every cent. Asante sana, William and Gosheni!

Best tour company with great services
5/5

My girlfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway in Kenya. We came across Leisure Escapes Safaris rates on social media and decided to check with them. They suggested several options and we opted for a 2nights at Amboseli National Park as we both love to be in the wild. The trip turned to be among the best we have ever had. Great service from Leisure Escapes Safaris from the way they handled us, gave us a very professional driver guide, booked us at Kibo Safari Camp where we could view Mt. Kilimanjaro from our room! It was just spectacular. The game drives were breath-taking with Jumbos around. I would book again with this tour company and recommend it to anyone as they gave us very personalized service and met our requests very professionally.

No follow through
1/5

I was kidnapped while on a game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park in Uganda. I purchased my tour through natural word safaris and they brokered it out to wild frontiers. No one was at the airport to meet me when I first arrived in Entebbe by myself. I did get to gorilla trek for two days and then the third day I was kidnapped. I was held at gunpoint from April 2 , taken into the democratic republic of Congo, held by four men with machine guns and a fifth man who only had a machete. I was recovered on April 7 by the American Embassy in uganda. My guide was taken with me most likely he was involved & this tour company sold my photos all over the media. They made my incredibly horrific trauma the whole world‘s business. They never followed through on contacting when I got home as they said they would to see how I was doing. like everyone else they wanted to distance themselves from the terrifying experience that happened while I was in there care, or lack there of. They did not provide any security yet somehow I was ,in the media, held responsible for no security being available. since they sold my photos I can only assume that they were part of that propaganda. This company let me take the fall for what happened just outside of their camp with their tour guide. They should have done more, much more when they said they would. The loss to my life , both personally and professionally, Has been in measurable and PTSD my constant companion. Know who your are traveling with in dangerous places. Natural world safaris has tried to victim shame me for reviewing my experience and their deplorable behavior, let’s see what this company does.

I did the 4 day great safari and Suricata exceeded my expectations. Fred was our safari guide, he genuinely cared about our experience and was so knowledgeable about the parks and animals. He was very professional but was also personable and a lot of fun. The accommodations were comfortable located in beautiful locations with great service. Highly recommend Suricata for safari.

The best safari expirience
5/5

We booked 4-day budget safari trip with Meijo safari.
The manager, Daudi is always available and responds quickly on messages and questions.
We got all the details and a full day by day program. Besides, he is very helpful with other things like arranging transports at a very good price. Also, he is the best for solving other tourist’s problems in his ability. He helped us to get our lost baggage the same day.
For the safari adventure, we got excellent driver/guide. He tried very hard to find the Africans Big Five at Game drives and was explaining all about animals with very good english speaking skills. Each day we spotted more and more animal species and until the end of a tour, luckily saw all africans big five and a lot of other animals.
The meals were extraordinary tasteful and fresh prepared with a large selection of different dishes. All preise to the chef.
We are very satisfied with everything and we recommend this safari team for the best safari expirience.

South Africa at its best.
5/5

This is our second trip to South Africa using Go Touchdown Travel & Tours, our first bring in 2016. We used them again because we had a wonderful experience with them in 2016 and were excited to see and catch up with several of the Go Touchdown family/staff we met from our 2016 vacation. In 2016, we were some of the very first travelers to visit The Songimvelo Nature Preserve, staying in the Humala Lodge, deep inside the preserve. Songimvelo/Humala Lodge is one of our most favorite places in the world with stunning South African savanna’s, mountains, game drives and wonderful hosts, who we have kept in contact with since 2016.
We planned for a 3 week tour of South Africa and Victoria Falls for the Fall of 2020, but then COVID happened. With constant contact with Go Touchdown, we were able to postpone and eventually reschedule our trip for the Fall of 2022, Spring in South Africa, time to view p all of the baby animals. This time, we had a group of 6 travelers, taking in Cape Town, Songimvelo/Humala Lodge, Tshukudu Lodge, Kruger National Park, Victoria Falks in Zimbabwe and Chobe River National Park in Botswana.
In Cape Town, we stayed in three boutique hotels, Belle Morac, Sharks Bay in Langebaan and Stillness Manor on the foothills of Table Mountain. In Cape Town, we took in all of the sights, Table Mountain, Robben Island, Cape of Good Hope, wine country in Stellenbosch and Franschoek and so much more. We had a wonderful experience at the Gold Restaurant, featuring African cuisine and African performers and dancers.
From there, off to Songimvelo/Humala Lodge in East Central South Africa, bordering Swaziland. The views are simply stunning, everything we’d imagined Africa would be like. Mountains, savanna’s, rivers, rough roads and animals, lots and lots of animals. And you are alone with your game driver, no big crowds, no timelines, just you, nature, animals and great views. From here, on to Tshukudu Game Lodge and Kruger National Park. Now we’d view the Big 5, elephants, rhinos, Cape Buffalo, lions and leopards. No African Safari is complete without a trip into Kruger, and Kruger doesn’t disappoint. The views, the animals, the experience, a once in a lifetime experience.
We finished with traveling to Zimbabwe to experience Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world. Another breathtaking experience. Then onto Botswana and the Chobe River National Park. Here viewing hundreds of elephants on the Chobe River.
What makes Go Touchdown so wonderful, is the people we interact with at all their locations. The drivers, the game rangers, the staff, the performers at Humala, everyone made you feel at home and special.
I’d highly recommend this company and tour packages for anyone looking to experience their dream African Safari.

Incredible skill and ability to translate our objectives in to the perfect vacation.
5/5

This was the trip of a lifetime for our family. Our sons are in their early 20s and we have never traveled extensively as a family. A close friend used DZ a few years back and I jumped on his recommendation. Jessica listened to all of our requirements and took care of every detail. We wanted to be taken care of, not worry about anything, and have accommodations that were top-shelf. Every aspect of the trip that DZ controlled was fantastic. Our trip to Tanzania was 10 days over the holidays. We stayed at 3 lodges all within the Lemala Camp group at Nanuyukie, Kuria Hills, and Mpingo. We also stayed at Lemala's Hamerkop House on arrival and departure which gave us a nice soft landing. They were all fantastic locations and incredible accommodations, among the best we've ever stayed at anywhere in the world. Plus, the food was terrific. Our favorite lodge was Kuria Hills for its breathtaking location and that we were the only guests for the 3 nights we were there. The staff prepared an unforgettable Christmas Dinner that we will remember and cherish forever. All aspects of the arrangements were met. Our guides were amazing, and the internal flights between lodges were great. We arranged 2 long drives between locations to add to the experience. Each of the Lemala camps were designed and built eco-friendly which I found impressive given the remote locations. Additionally, DAZ proactively monitored our arrival and progress through the trip. Jessica was in direct contact with the lodges throughout the 10 days which gave me confidence that everything about our trip was going to be great.
