We are a couple from the Netherlands that booked our 16 Day private lodge safari with Right Choice in the periode end of May/begin of June 2022. This period is the end of the rain season and not yet the high season, advantages are: better prices, never crowdy in the parcs/lodges and nice green landscapes. Disadvantages: sometimes there can be some rain in the afternoon and when you want to see the big migration to the Masai Mara, it's not the right time.
Our trip was a combined Kenya/Tanzania/Zanzibar trip. We started our trip in Nairobi and ended our trip on Zanzibar Island (the safaris ended in Arusha, where we took a domestic flight). During our trip we visited different parcs like Nairobi NP, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate NP, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire.
From the moment we made contact with Right Choice, we constantly got very quick responses from George. All the questions we've had (as well as questions about composing and finetuning the trip as general questions about visas, best places to stay and other ideas) were answered quick and complete. George is always reachable by mail and (we found out later) by Whatsapp to help.
So we started at Nairobi (we arrived late in the evening). As soon as we left the doors of the airport we were picked up by out Kenyan driver/guide Jacob (excellent driver and guide, when you book your safari at Right Choice, ask for him!)
In consultation with George, we added an extra day in Nairobi, to explore the Giraffe Park and Nairobi National Park. We can recommend this to everybody. First of all, you have an extra day before the actual trip, so you can aclimatize a little bit and second you can visit Nairobi NP. You can spend a half Day in the park and have good opportunities to see rhinos (we did not see them anywhere else in Kenya).
After Nairobi we went to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate and Masai Mara in Kenya. All the (tented) lodges were of good quality and most important, they have good locations in relation to the gates of the parks. If you want tot change a lodge for an other specific lodge you can arrange this also with George, he is ready to help you!
When it was time to leave Kenya and enter Tanzania, it was also time to change the driver/guide and the car (in both countrys we drove a Toyota Landcruiser 4x4). During the immigration proces, as well as Jacob as our new driver/guide Steven (who was already waiting for us at the border) helps us step by step till everything was arranged and made sure we felt save and relax during the transfer. Even George called us at that moment to ask is if everything was as we expected so far.
In Tanzania, our driver/guide Steven showed us he also have great driving skills and knowledge of all the flora and fauna in every park! We can also perfectly recommend Steven when traveling in Tanzania. After visiting the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire where we switched lodge (tip: Tarangire Safari Lodge inside Tarangire park), we were dropped of at Arusha airport and got the information of the flight times to Zanzibar and who was going to pick us up. Also this part of communication was great and we felt like everything was arranged very well for us. We spend the last 3 nights at a beach hotel at Zanzibar. Our suggestion is to discuss with George what kind of hotel you want and the choose the one you like.

Perfect Safari
I booked for 5 Days safari visiting Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire, and from my first encounter with the reservationist was a perfect moment where there was a timely mail reply and she was ready to even schedule a call for the proper arrangement as my partner is real into specific things to be arranged when it comes to a holiday. Every thing was perfect especially the warmth welcome from our guide who was neat and perfect in everything with a clean and nice safari car, accommodation was well arranged according to our request and we real had the best experience which exceeded our expectation.

Everyone on the team made an extra effort to give us a memorable experience in this beautiful country. They are extremely trustworthy and went the extra mile for us. Nothing was too much, and nothing was too difficult. They only cared that we had a good time, an experience we will never forget. Great Safari tour with Savannah Explorers!
We had a wonderful Safari !
Our guide was very nice, explained a lot and he drove very well. The accommodations were amazing ! For mid-range, they were very luxury and we felt treated well everywhere. The Nationalparks were awesome, especially Serengeti and Tatangire!
Before safari, it was very easy to get in contact with the booking office via WhatsApp! They were always very helpful. We can just recommend this tour operator! The price was in comparison to other operators also very very good !

Excellent Safari 10/10
We're currently on the last night of our Safari with Lion King. We've done the 7 day Western Serengeti Safari and stayed at some lovely tented camps (Embalakai & Tukaone) in the heart of the Serengeti. Top marks for both✅️
Our guide, Macha, has been outstanding. Great knowledge, driving & amazing wildlife spotting with excellent intuition on where to find the wildlife. He's a lovely friendly chap too!
We've seen lots of migrating Wildebeest & Zebra, an amazing sight and in excess of 80 lions with a fair few Cheetah & Leopard too. How Macha gets into such great positions without disturbing the wildlife is an art form.
Back at Lion King HQ communication has been top drawer from Anna & Nickson.
We've done a few Safaris in our time but this has been excellent. I'd recommend Lion King to everyone.

Amazing experience
We did a 4 days safari with KASC and it was absolutely amazing! Everything was well prepared by Aenea, the owner, communication was easy and efficient. Amazing!
This was truly the holiday of a lifetime! Vanessa removed all the stress of planning and designed an amazing holiday for me and my family! We visited Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru, the Massai Mara and Diani Beach, and saw something new at each destination.
Our guide and driver, George, was a real expert in the art of finding wildlife, I had not expected to see so many birds and animals and George was also able to tell us all about each of them, which really enhanced the experience. I had been a bit concerned about some of the long drives involved in seeing so many different places but in fact the time flew by and George was an excellent driver, expertly negotiating some pretty rough roads!!
The accommodation was excellent and the people so friendly and welcoming, it was lovely to be greeted with a cool drink and a hot flannel after each safari.
The trips Vanessa had organised for us were great, a boat trip on Naivasha lake where we saw hippos and many different birds, again our guide for the trip knew everything there was to know about the wildlife we saw. This was followed by a guided walk among the giraffes, zebra, waterbuck, gazelles and more, and our guide's passion for the wildlife was very apparent. The balloon ride was awesome, and the picnics were wonderful.
I cannot recommend Spirit of Kenya highly enough. Thank you Vanessa for making our holiday an amazing experience.

Excellent from beginning to end
Max enthusiasm passion and knowledge cannot be surpassed, even when we asked about the local birds he delighted in telling us about them.
He went above and beyond to seek out the illusive lion and didn’t disappoint.

Incredible birding safari under the guidance of our fantastic guide Herman
We did a 20 days birding/wildlife safari with Prime Safaris & Tours. The experience whas fantastic. Our guide Herman new all the birds by sound and side guides he arranged to go with us new where to find the diffucult species. The chimpanzee and gorilla tracking was well organised and an incredible experience. Seeing the great apes this close is just amazing. Just about all of my target birds i got to see so the trip was a great succes. The food in Uganda is very good and tasty. Thanks for an unforgettable vacation Herman and Prime Dafaris & Tours.
