Great and varied experience
We have choosen 4 days tour with safari and panorama tour. It was great to combine those experiences.Emmah was always prompt to give us answers to our question while we wanted to have some adaptations. She was very friendly and gave us the chance to see a lot of places. She took time to explain and she was flexible always trying to satisfy ourselves. The places where we stayed were so amazing and superb. I would definitely recommend this company and Emmah as a tour guide. Even on our way back to Jo'burg she brings us to such nice places.

The day after our Kilimanjaro hike, Leo picked us up in the morning from our hotel. Even at such a last minute booking, she came fully prepared: fully dressed, plenty of spare tires, books of the wildlife, high quality binoculars to share etc. in her heavy duty land cruiser. The roof fully opened up so we could get a perfect view of the animals.
Leo did a marvelous job in instructing us when to be quiet and when not to move within the vehicle. As a result, we were able to be in the middle of a herd of elephants with babies coming as close as three feet away from us.
Leo had the answers to all the questions we had. If not, she would make sure that she would re-study her books and have the answer by the end of the day.
We saw all the animals we wanted to see, and even taught us local legends and singalongs and animal quiz on some of our long drives. I have been on one other safari in Africa but this one in Tanzania was far more superior. Highly recommend.

Beyond expectations
We took the 5-day best of mid-range Northern circuit. Unlike most travellers we first thought of going on a safari only two weeks before it actually happened. The Lion King team was really helpful in arranging our trip on such short notice with constant communication. Our trip with our guide Shafino was just marvelous. Thanks to him we have been able to see the big 9 and not only from the distance but mostly just a few meters apart. Looking a leopard or a lion in the eye, watching cheetahs eat their prey is a memory we will never forget.

From the moment we set foot in the park, we were surrounded by the beauty of the wildlife and the breathtaking scenery. Our guide Rocky was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the country, plants, and wildlife that we were seeing, and he shared his knowledge and enthusiasm with us throughout the trip.
He took very good care for us and we felt safe for the whole trip. He was very concise about the environment.
