Amazing Experience
5/5

Being a very conscious mom of two kids , I was so worried about the arrangements. But thanks to Magdalene for listening to me & making all the arrangements According to my needs.
Moreover, I got quotations from various operators but I found their luxury package most reasonable with better options.
Anthony, our guide , was super enthusiastic, he showed us almost all the animals in our first game drive .
There were times when we didn’t push him that we want to see more but he still kept on spotting them for us.
Overall , I highly recommend Big Mac African Safari.

"Great tour operator"
5/5

I went with my wife on a Kilimanjaro trip organized by Taste of Kilimanjaro Adventures. It was my first trip to Tanzania before then, I can only recommend this tour operator, we had a custom trip for a party of four. Very good guides, good equipment, good food and a great & squeaky-clean toilet every day, which is a great thing to have. I have been on many safari trips before, but I would only book with Taste of Kilimanjaro Adventures now.

Great Experience - Amazing Trip
5/5

Booking my Safari thru Go Touch Down was an easy experience from start to finish. I felt like I could email or call my operations guide at any time for questions and the responses were quick. I also loved how organized my documents were and how easy it was to pull them up online at anytime and print out what I needed. Before the trip, the communications team checked in with me and made sure I had everything I needed for a successful trip. My transport was waiting for me at the airport with a large sign that was easy to find. The van had air conditioning and water for guests. Check in to the lodge was easy and my Tour Guide was in touch with me right away to talk about the plan for the week and meet up times.

The Tour itself was well thought out. Travel and accommodations met expectations and having a group of 6 or less makes a huge difference. The best place was Humala Lodge for a totally unique experience. Communication about the next day's events was clearly explained each night at dinner.

All in all a great value for the money and felt like I had the information I needed on time. The only issue I had was at the end of the trip and very situational to the times in which I had to request a PCR Covid test instead of the rapid test that was suggested for me. I had to have the PCR to get into my home country.

Friendly and respectful to the animals and park
5/5

I went to samburu and had an amazing time. Daniel was extremely respectful towards the animals so there was no chasing after any (which I hate) or making animals distressed. We saw a lot and had a great laugh doing it. Edith had made booking very effortless and was a great source to answer questions before I went. Thank you!

Great Communication with planning our “Taylor Made Tour!”
5/5

Safety was a big concern for us when travelling to Cape town and surrounding areas so decided to go with African Savanna with Tanja as our tour operator.
We have travelled a lot, and this was our first time using a tour company/driver/guide. It was a wonderful carefree experience for my husband and I! We gave Tanja the activities we wanted included and through emails back and forth, she created a fabulous itinerary with a local guide who made our trip unforgettable!
Thanks again for all of your help in planning our trip!! 5 Stars:)

An Extraordinary Budget Safari in the Botswana Wilderness
5/5

The mobile safari took us to amazing places: the reed and papyrus channels of the Okavango Delta, 2 different areas in Moremi National Park, as well as Savuti and northern Chobe park. Each place had its own distinctive beauty, and each place was full of wild animals and an astonishing number of birds. Our guide, Ben, was a great animal tracker, and an engaging teacher. We enjoyed learning about termite mounds, and elephant and lion habits, among many other things.

All the details of driving and setting up/taking down camp were done for us by a 3 person team. We slept in a spacious tent, and there was an enclosure attached to the tent which provided a toilet and shower. Beds were clean and comfortable, but lacked a top sheet; fussy sleepers may wish to bring a sleeping bag liner. Meals were generous, and reminded me of the days of summer camp. We felt we had excellent value for money.

The owner, Monametsi, was helpful and always available. The safari lived up to the promises of the itinerary. We fell in love with Botswana and with Moonstroll, and hope to return.

Excellent service, creative planning, reliable, very informative and knowledgable
5/5

Because we were invited for a wedding in Moyo Uganda, we were looking for a local touroperator and found Matoke. We got in contact with Pleunie and after a few short emails Matoke came up with a super nice creative itinerary. Even Matoke had to be inventive because Moyo is way out of touristic range. Everything went smooth. From pick up at the airport by master guide Musa, extremely friendly, smart, funny and well informed about nature, culture and safety. And birds! All information provided by Matoke was very accurate, chosen lodges were very good inclusive fine dining which we did not expect at all before our trip. Did a few nice additional things like hiking and making coffee in Sipi with the very funny guide Moses and a Kamaradjong visit with the lovely Maria. We saw leopards, lions, elephants, giraffe, zebra, buffalo's and hundreds of stunning birds in Murchison Falls and Kidepo national parks. The landcruiser was fine especially in combination with the super skilled driver Musa who had his very first vist in Moyo too after being a guide for several decades. In one word excellent. Thank you Pleunie and thank you Musa!!!
Highly recommended. Pleunie and Musa for president!
