We planned this Safari trip a month before we fly to Tanzania. We were provided personalized quote and detailed Itinerary through emails. Thanks to Caroline, all schedules and policies were explained well; and the effective communications made the reservation process smooth and professional.
During this 6-days safari trip, all activities and routines were arranged reasonably; from relaxing to wild and back to relaxing. We modified first day with hot spring swimming as we arrived in Arusha early morning and had a few hours fun time. We met our guide Shafino on day-2 and he was our driver, spotter, encyclopedia and lunch server, and he nailed it! He is a wildlife lover and safari master that he spotted wild animals from miles away and answered all our questions about their behaviors and features. We saw all expected animals on the list and much more beyond. Shafino was also knowledgeable with all birds and plants during the trip. He knows the roads and places to find which animals as it is his second home. He can even also introduce us the history or culture of the local people and towns. We can literally ask him anything about what we see on our way.
The daily schedule for meals and accommodation was we left in early morning after breakfast, had picnic lunch(freshly prepared in the mornings) , and arrived to lodges 1-2 hours before dinner time and thus we had enough time to rest and chill. We had unlimited drinking water and also had complimentary wine, beer and softdrinks in the frige of the car. The whole trip is totally safe and enjoyable.
Every single thing in our experience was unforgettable and amazing. We are so pleasured to do this with Lion King Adventures and Shafino. Thank you!

Amazing experience
The safari was amazing, our guide, Jonas, did an incredible job finding the animals and providing explanations, 10/10 for him. Food was also delicious and portions were more than enough, they even had vegan option. Accommodation was also very nice. However, previously to the safari, during the payment day, they forgot that one of us will do the payment in euros, and also the credit card terminal didn't work, so we had a little trouble. Also, our group was of 7 people, and we paid 4 different prices, so always try to negotiate.

We have gone with Penduka three times and have just booked our fourth safari with them. From the outset their service has been exemplary. Their leader has an invaluable sense of humor. The food they serve is delicious and filling. Plus, on occasion, a member of our party requested an alternative and they made it appear as if it were No problem.
They definitely know the area and take you to where the animals are.
Our first trip was my husband and I. We joined a group. The second was my husband, son, his fiance, and myself. The last time I put together a group of 17, friends & family. In July there will be a group of 22 friends and family who will go with them.
It is nice to know that this is an outfit I can trust to provide everyone a wonderful experience.

It was such a spectacular experience touring the Maasai Mara with Axis Africa Safaris! The drive to the game reserve was amazing as i was picked on time, the driver was friendly and helped with the luggage. The drive was smooth, and there was a lot to see especially along the Great Rift Valley. I loved the resort that Axis booked for us to stay in for the days that we were at Maasai Mara. Their services were amazing and the staff were professional and ensured our stay their was satisfactory. The best part was the game drive at Maasai Mara with Axis Africa Safaris land cruiser. The tour guide had vast knowledge of the place and the wild animals that we saw. We saw lots of wild animals like the lion, cheeter, leopard, hippos, crocodile, zebras, giraffe, among many others. It was such a memorable tour! For sure it was worth the cost we paid for the experience and I would love to do this again with Axis Africa Safaris coz they provided the best experience ever!

Second time with Kili Serengeti, still amazed!
First time in 2017, and now second time in 2023. It’s a pleasure being in touch with Eman for the booking, super contact, super reactive. And it’s amazing to get on tour with Mike, this guy can see a lion on a tree at more than 200m, it’s an expert and we had a lot of good times together.

Elias the tour guide was brilliant. Ask for him if you can.
The Tour was fabulous as Elias took us to places other guides didn’t go to and as a consequence we saw the over 40 different species of animals including the big five. Wonderful!

Excellent experience with James in Masai Mara National Park!
Magnifique ! We spent three days in Masai Mara National Park. James, our guide, was very kind, precise and efficient. He always accommodated our requests during the safari: we were able to see all kinds of animals in the park! It was a pleasure to spent three days with him. Highly recommend!

Great Safari
A spectacular safari. Lots of animals and went to interesting places. There was more driving than I would have hoped but that's the nature of travelling to different parks and national reserves. Things we're scheduled well and I always felt taken care of and safe. Each days meals were ok, usually a buffet. Emmah at Hyrax always responded almost immediately when I had questions before and during the safari. I'd definitely recommend Hyrax to friends and family.

Clear communications before the tour, keeping our preferences in mind, offering an excellent tour that suited our wishes. Evans was a good driver and amazing guide, sharing his knowledge in a nice way. Accomodation and food were good, nice pools to freshen up in. All in all great value for money. Would definetely recommend this reliable company for safaris!
