Wonderful experience in a beautiful country
We took our grandchildren to Kenya repeating a journey we took over thirty years ago, and it was wonderful to see more animals than we did before. Our experience in Nakuro, Naivasha and Masai Mara was beyond our expectations seeing all the "big five" on numerous occasions as well as all the other species imaginable. Particularly memorable was the dawn balloon safari, which I would recommend anyone to try it if they can. Our travel company Across the Wild Safaris arranged everything to perfection, and made lifelong memories for our grandchildren. Without exception we were made so welcome in Kenya and would encourage everyone to come for themselves to experience the majestic and stunning surroundings, the hospitality in the lodges, but above all the amazing wildlife !

I drop scenic beauty by one star solely because of the litter in certain places. Horrible to see two beautiful lions lying amongst paper and human waste. Washing and toilet facilities MUST be provided otherwise tourists will not visit if they are forced to go behind a bush to answer the call of nature.

Our family had a wonderful time in Kenya. Bella was very responsive and always answered my messages quickly. If I had one suggestion, it is to have more discussion with Jamlan upfront about desires, needs, travel times between locations, and modes of transportation. We were not expecting to spend as much time traveling as we did. That was not the fault of our agent, but perhaps we’d have developed an itinerary better matched to our family’s needs had we had more discussion at the beginning with Jamlan. Kenya is an amazing country with much to see and experience!

Enjoyable Safari in Kenya
Two of us spent 8 days in Kenya in August on a Highlights of Kenya tour arranged by Sylvester and his Seven by Far team. Sylvester was responsive to our requests for particular elements in our programme, and is clearly a people person, making sure that from airport pick up to airport drop off we were well looked after. We had two drivers: John, in the Masai Mara and thereafter Evans. Evans has fluent English and an extensive knowledge of African wildlife, which was for us the key point of the trip, and was a very good guide. Every day had its own highlights and there was little that could be improved on. Our animal viewings were wonderful. Sylvester personally greeted and farewelled us and was very kind in arranging for some highlights in Nairobi before we were due in the airport in the evening. The team is flexible and able to respond to changes as they arise and we were very happy with our safari. We went mid-upper range on budget and we’re happy with value for money. I thoroughly recommend Seven by Far tours.

Awesome experience
It was a really good experience. The communication with the sales team was excellent. The service of the driver was awesome!! The money we paid was very reasonable and the value for it was great!! We saw a lot of animals and Samuel our driver was very friendly and always looking for any needs. I really recommend taking a Safari with Ramja Safaris.

Firts time in this experience and doing it with Ramja Safarias was the best decision ever. Samuel is a really good guy who was always worried about us, he tried always to make the experience the best. Tour operator was always on time to start the safari, we enjoyed all the place we visited and as Samuel promised, we saw lots of animals. Thanks a lot to Ramja Safaris and especially to Samuel!

Wonderful tour - highly recommend!
My wife and I booked a 6-day private safari and had a great experience with Image Travel. Our tour guide John made our trip very enjoyable, and we highly recommend him!
We visited Amboseli (2 nights), Nakuru (1 night), and Masai Mara (2 nights). This felt like the perfect length. Each park has its own highlights. Our favorites were the many elephants (including baby ones) in Amboseli, the rhinos in Nakuru, and then seeing lions, cheetahs, and leopards up-close in Masai Mara. We also did a 1 hour optional boat ride in Naivasha, which was unique and relaxing.
John was an incredible tour guide and made sure we saw all the animals. He spotted several animals other tour guides didn’t see and enabled us to get up close to lions and leopards. John was familiar with all the parks and found the best driving routes and viewing angles. We were able to see elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and many more.
Picking good lodging is very important, as you eat all meals at the resort. We stayed at higher-end places such as Serena and Sarova and were thankful we did so. Rooms were clean, service was friendly, and having on-site animals was fun as well. Some of the walls are a bit thin, but we thought that was okay.
Pickup/dropped from/to the Nairobi airport was prompt and easy. We traveled in a minibus. Some roads in Kenya were fairly bumpy, but that’s to be expected - we took non-drowsy Dramamine to avoid motion sickness and didn’t have any issues. John was a great driver and safely maneuvered us through traffic jams and detours. It can get stuffy in the car, and we used our hand/neck fans quite a bit. John was friendly and knowledgeable, teaching us about Kenya, animals, and even his music.
Our only regret was not packing binoculars, as a few times animals were a bit further away and we couldn’t get the best view. Overall we had a wonderful trip and will be recommending Image Travel and John to anyone going on a Kenya safari.
