Easy to book & pick up/drop off at hotel
Booked this tour the night before I arrived in Johannesburg. So was very happy they still accepted me on this tour. It is a long day but it's worth it, they made various stops along the way in service stations & pick you up/drop off in your hotel. Pilanusberg was a very nice introduction to a national park for me as I have never been to one. We saw a lot of animals & the rangers were really engaged in term of their knowledge & respect for nature and getting us involved to spot as many animals as possible. All in all an excellent day. Lunch is included but I thought it was a bit basic. Would be happy to pay more for a bigger lunch.

It was just amazing, we got animals from big 5 plus cheetah and others
We were very satisfied. All 5 days we started very early in the morning and days are not easy, but emotions are so super. with my experience I loved the tour it was well organized, And our driver Peter-we love him day by day more, he was excellent guide and driver.
Everything was very good! The safari was awesome, we've seen a lot of animals. It was a great journey and I would recommend it to everyone!

No need for luck if you have Goodluck!
Excellent experience. We did a private 2 person nine day trek on the Lemosho route. The only reason we successfully made the summit was our head guide Goodluck Mrema. He was totally professional and compassionate. I highly recommend him for anyone wishing to successfully summit Kilimanjaro.

great touroperator with clear and honest advise
Clear communication and information about the safari before booking. We had a skilled driver with a lot of experience in spotting animals. he was always punctual and good natured. we did the tsavo east/west taita hills 4 days, all the lodges were situated on a magnificent location, although most were simple accomodations this did not bother us because everything was clean and the food (especially Salt lick) was good.
The price was good for what was offered and i would recommend Neherken to everyone.

An Outstanding Experience!
All the process was smooth and easy with Apodiformes, from the itinerary definition to the Safari itself.
Communication was very good, with Silas making sure that everything was perfect.
Our Guide Loi was amazing and able to get us to the best views, always being kind and patient. He is an expert professional and well instructed guide, being also a teacher about Kenyan Wild Life!
We had a 8-day Tour, including Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli.

Great experience of the Safari Best of Tsavo East & West
The safari was well planned, with a very nice driver. The big plus was we had a private tour, so we could go and stop as we pleased. We saw the big 5 in 2 days! The 2 lodges we stayed in were perfect and added a lot to the tour. I highly recommend this safari, it’s real value for tour money.

Fantastic! I can't recommend this enough!
My family and I traveled to South Africa for a wedding in Feb 2023, and since we had never been to South Africa, we trusted Kathi at African Welcome Safaris to help us plan and coordinate activities and a safari for our family (including a 7-year-old boy). WE HAD THE BEST TIME! Everything that was on our itinerary was great - we got to see Cape Town and enjoyed a fantastic experience on Safari later in the trip. The transport and guides were all professional and courteous. We felt safe and comfortable every step of the way; and the value for the money was exceptional. I can't wait to return and spend more time in South Africa - and we will be booking through African Welcome Safaris again!

If you want to have a wonderfull day without any planning, this is your tour to go. You get picked up at the hotel, ones there, they will inform you properly on the day ahead. The guide can tell you anything you want to know about the animals. You get a proper lunch and head out ones more. Ones the day is over they will bring you back to your hotel. For me it was wonderfull and will always remember this day!
