A PERFECT DAY
we booked our 1 day trip to Mikumi National Park before we travelled to Zanzibar from the UK. We found Shammah Wonders Safari to be offering exactly what we wanted for a competitive price. We requested a quote and Justin replied immediately. He was friendly and reassuring that he understood our needs and that they would be met. From placing a deposit, the whole service received was personal and professional. Justin is great at communicating so there were never any doubts that our day would be compromised.
We traveled as a family of seven adults. Justin ensured we had our own Safari vehicle. Originally he arranged for 2 separate jeeps and on securing 1 large vehicle he refunded the difference, something a good honest company would do as we would not have been aware of this. Really impressed.
We were picked up from our hotel in Zanzibar early in the morning and driven to the airport where we caught a plane direct to the Mikumi national park where we were met by our driver. What an amazing day! Antelopes, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, lions and hippos, beautiful birds, baobab trees. Lunch was a hot delicious buffet. Our driver was knowledgeable and friendly ensuring we experienced a great time. We returned by plane back to Zanzibar and were driven back to our hotel. I would wholeheartedly recommend Shammah Wonder Tours. Justin is so friendly and will ensure your day goes brilliantly.

The day trip went great from hotel pick up to drop off. The safari itself was a unique experience thanks to the driver and guide. It was always possible to find suitable places for watching game. They also dealt with our bad English. We recommend a safari with this company.

We couldn't be more satisfied with everything
When we first requested an offer we didn't really know how long and which parks to visit. Allan was very helpful in offering us different options and length that would work for our family with 2 kids 8 & 11y. The communication was really well and I really appreciate Allans kind communication. Finally we ended up booking 5 days Nairobi to Amboselli, Tsavo West and East and ending in Diani Beach. We asked for a german speaking guide for our kids and opted for a Land Cruiser. We ended up with George as a driver and Thomas as the german speaking guide. Thomas spoke german really well and was very knowledgeable and if he didn't know anything he asked George which seems to have very in depth knowledge so we got a lot of insights in flora & fauna.
George is probably one of the best drivers you can get. When we went to the Rhino sanctuary and no Rhino showed up, he stayed overtime until all other cars except 3 left without seeing a Rhino. The ranger then however said our car could go up the lookout point for a few minutes to spot the Rhino with our binocular. The next day we were driving back to lodge when there were some lions close by with a lot of cars already there. He then again, waited until all other cars left and we could move closer and some more lions came passing right beside our car and we could see them close by.
We were lucky to see all the big 5 and so many more animals. We really enjoyed the different parks and vegetation inside the parks and had an awesome time. The 2 hour walking safari with a local ranger was a great experience as well, we learned a lot and the ranger was a really nice guy.
The lodges we had were good as well. The best food we had was at the Kiba Lodge, Kilaguni Serena Lodge was amazing as we could watch the animals (Elefants, Zebras, Water Bocks, Giraffs...) right from our dinner table. Aruba Ashnil was also ok. One thing to critizise would be that in Serena and Aruba they only had one big bed and a small bed in the room, which was too small for a adult and 2 kids. At Aruba we asked to add a fourth bed, which they did, but that should have been arranged right away.
It was a lifetime experience which we will never forget.

Great tour operator with excellent organization.
We booked the 7-Day Tsavo West-Amboseli-Nakuru-Mara-Lodge tour (from Nairobi to Mombasa or beach hotel) and had a fantastic time. Booking and communication went smoothly, and the tour was perfectly organized. We had booked a shared tour but ended up being just the two of us for the last few days. The mid-range accommodations were beautiful, especially the various Sopa Lodges, the food was always great, and we felt very comfortable. We highly recommend CKC-Tours, and John was always available and took care of everything perfectly.

Lovely trip to tick off all the big five
The organisation of the tour was very quick and easy. Alex is very quick with responses and forthcoming.
We got a very good deal for our tour to Masai mara and lake Nakuru, with pick up and drop off, everything worked out perfectly. The accomodations during the trip exceeded our expectations.
Our tour guide Andrew surprised us with his excellent German and English. He was really making an effort during the tour to make sure we get to see the big five and so much more. He's a safe driver and if you want to learn more about the animals or cultural aspects of Kenya he's willing to answer all of your questions. Going with a bigger group in a 4x4 doesn't make it easy for the guide to explain everything so that everyone in the car would get the chance to hear it or someone may have a different need for background informations, so make sure to ask questions, if you're interested in that as well.

Trip of a life time
Our group of seven explored the Serengeti 3 days and the Ngorongoro crater 1. Our tour guide Moses was the reason for making this such a memorable trip. His experience and keen sense allowed us to be at the right place at the right time to see the most amazing things. Moses is very knowledgeable about the animals and the environment we were seeing, he answered all our many questions. We felt safe and had a lot of fun.
When we first booked this tour I imagined we would see a few big animals if we were lucky but this tour went way above my expectations. We saw many animals such as elephants, lions giraffes, hippos, hyenas, leopards, Chita, wildebeests, zebras and more. Every day we explored we saw something new that amazed us all.
We will talk about this trip for many years to come and recommend this, tour and guide, to everyone.

Where to start? An incredible honeymoon thanks to Esther and Isaack. We were so lucky to have chosen them for our safari.
