Very supportive in planning and great teams in the field!
5/5

I've done the 7 day Lemosho route to Kilimanjaro with Crater Explorer, it was everything and more that I hoped for!
Emanuel quickly answered all my questions during the planning and provided a fantastic team for the trip. The guide (Maulidi), cook and porters were extremely helpful and great company throughout our tour. Highly recommended :)

An amazing time with a helpful tour operator and great value for money!
5/5

My wife and I did a 2.5 week tour with Malagasya travel from mid-August to September 2022. The help and communication from our tour rep Riantsoa was incredible! It’s the best communication, advice and service we have ever received from a tour operator. The service prior to the trip was so good that I even wrote a review of the company before we had gone on holiday! Which, I know is crazy, but it just goes to highlight the level of customer care they had already delivered. Safe to say, now we have been on the trip I can write a proper review of the adventure itself, and it was just as good as the service we had received before we had boarded the plane.

The itinerary we originally chose was the 15 day tour “Tired of staying home, visit Madagascar”. We ended up adding 3 extra days as we had the time, and as other people have noted, there is a lot of ground to cover and we thought the few extra days would allow more time to relax in certain areas before the longer driving days. All in all though the itinerary allows you to explore a large and diverse portion of the country, from the tropical rainforests in the east, to the highlands and rock formations in the middle, and dry-forests and beaches in the south-west. All the hotels we went to were top-notch, with great service and friendly staff. And our driver Roamihaja (Roami) was a true gentlemen and great driver-guide for our entire trip! If you want to see a lot of Madagascar in 2 weeks then this is the tour for you. If however, you have the money, and time to take 3 extra days then I would advise it as it would allow…
1 extra day in Palmarium Reserve or Ranomafana (tropical rainforests where there are many beautiful animals to see).
1 extra day in Isalo national park to do more hiking in the beautiful mountainous terrain.
And 1 more day to relax by the beach in Ifaty.

But for those with just 2 weeks to explore this unique island I highly recommend going with Malagasya Travel. You’ll be in safe hands with their brilliant staff!

AMAZING TRIP OF A LIFETIME. THIS TRIP WILL BE HARD TO TOP BECAUSE OF MOSES
5/5

I chose the 5 day Safari . Was picked up from my Hotel and brought to Jocky Tours off to firm up rest of payment. I then met Moses my guide and the 5 others who would be joining me on this adventure of a lifetime. 2 days in the Maasai Mara, then Nakuru then Naivasha.
All accommodations and food were outstanding. When you are in the heart of the Maasai Mara you wil stay at Camp Lenchada in a waterproof tent on a cement slab with your own toilet, sink ,and shower. Hot water has to be pumped so you have to ask for it and you get about a minute so be quick. Beds were comfortable and food was fantastic at all accommodations. Moses had such a great adventurous personality and made sure we had many up close and personal experiences. I had to pinch myself a few times to be sure this was all really happening. Lions and cubs , lions eating their fresh kills, a cheetah chasing a baby antelope , smack dab in the middle of a heard of hundreds on Buffalo, witnessing part of the great Wildebeest and zebra migration, Giraffes grazing right in front of us, elephants coming right up to the 4x4 not threatened very peaceful, leopards walking along side our vehicle , Baboons in the middle of the road playing and checking us out, Rhino families grazing within a few feet , a baby rhino playing with mom, and seeing thousands of flamingos take flight After being scared by a hyena . It was all breathtaking and a trip that will never be forgotten. Keep in mind the maasai mara is close to 5 hours from Nairobi so be prepared for a long drive . We made stops along the way to see the great rift Valley and Moses answered so may questions and was very knowledgeable. 15 years of experience, I could not have asked for a better guide. Nakuru and Naivasha are much smaller then the Maasai Mara but just as exciting . Saw the Big 5 numerous times and so much more. Went on a Lake Naivasha boat ride also as well as Hells Gate national park . I met some of the Maasai tribes also and got to learn about their culture. Each destination is a long drive from each other so be prepared to bring wipes for bathroom breaks as alot of toilets didn't supply toilet paper . Be prepared to use the bush for bathroom breaks on long game drive days as well. This was a budget Safari and led me way out of my comfort zones at times but I would do it again in a heartbeat. There is alot of rough terrain so be prepared for alot of bumps and feeling like you are on a carnival ride every single day. Truly an adventure of a lifetime. Minneh was my booking agent and we exchanged about 35 emails prior to me finally deciding to do this.
I live in Chicago-- US and I traveled 18 hours to get to Kenya . I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was with a great group of people and Moses our guide wil never be forgotten. This was truly an experience of a lifetime and one you will never forget. Jocky is very affordable with excellent quality.

Amazing. 5 stars service and experience. 100% recommand
5/5

Everything was AMAZING from start to finish. The service from the staff was wonderful. Our guide Fredy is the best and he knows everything. We were able to see a lot of animals( Zebra, Elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalos, and lots more). The accommodations were excellent. The Baghayo and the Marera Valley lodge are beautiful and comfortable. Meals provided by the lodges and cooked by Suricata’s chef are DELICIOUS. Suricata only provides hot meals which may not be the case with other companies.

Overall, I really enjoyed our 5 days safari tour with Suricata and I highly recommand them.

We would 100% do it again !!

fantastic tour operator
5/5

We've just had a fly in Gorilla trek with Grassrootz. It was first organised before the lockdown, so had to be postponed for 2 years. Sander, our contact at Grassrootz, was brilliant, and held the tour until we could travel again. Everything he arranged was perfect, down to the accommodation and the transfers. His communication was excellent, and we have no hesitation recommending him.

Great safari, perfect from start to finish
5/5

Brilliant safari. It was perfect with our guide Silas and the food cooked by the chef Saleem was delicious and extremely filling. We were never hungry or short of water and we seen all the animals we wanted, including rhino and a leopard. The only thing would be to bring warm clothes for the second night on the crater but otherwise perfect and thanks for everything! And the airport transfer and hotel arrangements were made completely hassle free.

Everything was well organised, fantastic experience
5/5

We have just returned from a wonderful Safari in Kenya. Silas took care of every detail, communication was great and we couldn't have asked for better. Accommodation was charming and our driver and guide, Jackton was exceptional, so knowledgeable about the area and wildlife and always got us the best view! Better than we ever imagied. Will recommend Apodiformes whole heartedly.

An amazing tailor made holiday individually selected to give you the best experience
5/5

Having had to postpone twice due to Covid, we really were really looking forward to our South Africa trip. We are predominantly interested in the animals but also requested some down time for relaxing. The itinerary and experiences far exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t believe what we got for our money. From whale watching to safaris on foot and horseback, everyday had a wow factor. Towards the end, Nick our trip organiser, built in a stopover at Thonga Lodge. A place I felt was as close to paradise as you can get. I can honestly say everyday surpassed the last. We did not want to do self drive so we were chauffeured every where. Everyone we met were keen to give us the best experience. We are already looking at next year and will definitely be going back to this company
