My annual getaway
5/5

I can't see myself going on safari with any other safari company. The lodge, food, company, views, animals - the whole package is what makes me go again and again without any doubts. Shaun, the owner, goes to every length to keep his guests happy. His knowledge, sense of humour and overall warm personality makes any day in the bush a memorable one.

Bramwel are cheats and cannot be trusted one bit
1/5

We had a similar experience with Bramwel Safari. We took the safari in Sept 16. We landed in Kilimanjaro and had someone pick us up in a jeep that was smelling of fish (we are vegetarians). We were taken to Planet Lodge, thankfully this was booked. The next morning we were greeted by another driver and guide Dennis (he was good) in a clean jeep. We drove to Serengeti and our woes began. We were there by 11 am and when the driver went to the counter to get our permits, he was told that there was no money in the card issued in Arusha. He called William Amon who heads Bramwel Safaris, and was arguing with him. William told him that he was going to the bank to deposit the money in the card. We waited at the gated until 2.30pm. Still no sign of the money. We decided having come this far let's just pay by credit card and get over with this. The dirver took us to the lodge that was supposed to be booked for us and as suspected the booking was not done. We have been driving around and it was getting quite dark. Luckily the driver knew another lodge and knew a person there and we managed to get a tent for two nights. We were so disappointed with all this that we decided not to go for the Hot Air Balloon for which we had paid 1000 $ advance. I am sure if we had to do this we would have had to pay again.

From Serengeti we headed to Ngorongoro and were told that the luxury hotel that we had paid for was not booked so we would be staying at another hotel. Luckily the hotel was booked and we did not have to pay for this.

On the whole William keeps on promising and from what I have read on their website and here, he seems to have made this his way of making quick money out of people who have worked hard and saved up for a trip like this. Because a trip like this is not cheap. He says he is God fearing and goes to church. I doubt very much the man has any conscience. He is still cheating people saying he will repay them and then more empty promises.

Please do read reviews on the tour operators and do stay well away from Bramwel.

But the animals was not many
3/5

Over 4 days our group (6 people) visited 3 national parks of Tanzania: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire. I spent the night at the Lodge, and others in tents. I recommend to spend the night at the Lodge is slightly more expensive, but very convenient. More just like Ngorongoro. Tarangire is between Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. In Tarangire a lot of elephants. In the Serengeti the animals were not much. 4 day Safari for me was worth 900$. It is expensive. The driver was not very good: the road was driving not very confident, Not always stayed near the animals, he said himself the amount that I should give tips for him. Couldn't care less about tourists. The food was good. The accommodation was good. But a whole tour like 4. But the animals was not many.

Well aranged safari, with experienced guide and human touch
4/5

The guide knew what he was doing, knew where to go for good spotting. Communication with Jeff was good, he kept us up to speed and offered alternatives if needed. We were well taken care of with good lunch and a human touch... Jeff was clear about the teams of our booking and explained everything very clearly. Only minus:you have to pay in cash...

Fantasitc, start to finish
5/5

I can't recommend Avocet enough, from start to finish we were looked after brilliantly. Out driver/Guide edgar was top class, as was our cook Hadji - no complaints at all about the food, it was fantastic. Edgar went to great lengths to make sure we got to see all of the 'BIG 5' - I cant find fault with any of the trip or Avocet - 5 stars....

Very professional, available, flexible - I strongly recommend!!!
5/5

I thank Ryan for the great support in the organization before the safari and I do thank Doug our guide during 4 wonderful days in Kruger for his knowledge, his patience and his kindness.
This company deserve to be well known and I do recomment to everybody reading my comments not to hesitate. I've contacted many of safari agency and I didn't find more profesionnal than Adventure Anywhere (Ryan is very reactive). I saw many of their competitors on the road of Kruger Park who drives very fast and miss a lot only thinking about Big5 to get better tips at the end (a shame to miss other animals...).
Long life to this Adventure Anywhere !!!

Amazing trip! Thanks to Kenya Walking Survivors!
5/5

I had only 2 days available on weekend and I wanted to see elephants. That's the reason why I chose Amboseli National Park. My friend suggested me a few companies to choose from and I decided Kenya Walking Survivors with several reasons including fast response and great reviews. I was right! I got almost immediate response. Then the services were great tailored with budget I had. Amazing tour company. Highly recommended! You won't be disappointed.

Photo tour to Masai Mara National reserve
5/5

When planning a photo tour, you can never be 100% sure of success. Much depends on the professionalism of the local staff but also from luck. I was lucky in this tour and I saw all interested to me animals, and brought home a lot of positive emotions and photos. And thanks to local staff - they are very positive and did a lot to make a tour successful.

Safari surprise at its best!
5/5

The booking went easy via travel agency. Shortly before our departure to Botswana we were informed about the heavy rainfalls during the last weeks and that the itinerary probably had to be changed, due to flodded roads. No problem for us. After arrival, tourguide Eddy came up with plan B, which turned out to be a great alternative. (He already had plans C to Z in mind, since nobody knew about the exact road conditions.) We visited a lot of beautiful places, whatched many many animals, stayed at great campgrounds. And we had a fantastic tourguide and camp crew, who never let us know about the stress they were having with all the obstacles in the stern wash of a cyclone.
The camp gear consisted of large tents (even large people can stand up straight) with en suite bathroom in the back (hole in the ground with a toilet seat, bucket shower), comfortable cots, night stand, a small cabinet. We had the fabulous diner (really, the cuisine à la bush was always delicious and plenty) in the dining tent after sitting around the fire in the evening, having a first drink. Did I mention lunch? Depending on the day's schedule, we had lunch in the camp or a picnic in the bush (always yummy).
Eddy, you are an excellent tour guide, you did just about everything to let this safari of a lifetime come true. You brought us to all the interesting places, let the animals out of the cages just in time, and never got stuck in the worst of mud.
Mano, Steven and Matteo: The best camp crew imaginable, you made the camp a reall home for us.
Thank you all!

My first time Safari
5/5

The arrangements were made with Safari Club Ltd by a friend who is a frequent traveller to Africa. She was delighted with her initial phone call and we went ahead with the booking. We knew exactly what we wanted and they carried out the instructions perfectly. Safari Club where thorough in their advice on health, weight on the private planes etc. All our requests were carried out in a very friendly professional way. Whether you are a new traveller or seasoned Safari Club will arrange a memorable Safari trip. I suppose the fact the directors have travelled there many times and know the area so well is a bonus to me as a new traveller
. Little Governor's Camp where we stayed in the Masai Mara was wonderful. Our driver/guide was so knowledge with endless patience we saw all the animals possible.
Our first two nights were spent by Lake Naivasha in Loldia House which is a wonderful house on the lake surrounded by animals and birds. The house is beautiful and food better than any famous restaurant in London. Well worth a couple of days either before or after the safari. Well done Safari Club I hope you will arrange another great trip for us.
