We chose a 4 night/5days safari and it was more than I expected. Really good value for the price we payed. Spent two nights in Maasai Mara and was able so see all of the big five. Accomodation was «budgety» but really nice. Jimmy was an amazing and patient tour guide - really recommend him.

The tour operator is very friendly and professional.
The communication in English is clear before the tour. We saw many animals during the 3 day tour, which is great value for money. Our guide, Jack, is very responsible and knowledgeable. The accommodation, Mara Chui resort, is safe and clean and has 24-hour hot water although water pressure is quite low.

Excellent, great communication and service
Our guide Jack was super! We saw so many animals and had a great 3 day safari. I would recommend the optional Maasai Mara village visit too! Lenchada camp is very basic but has showers, beds, breakfast and dinner and a campfire in the evening! Would recommend Jocky safaris to friends, especially with tour guide Jack!

Incredible views, great people, slightly disorganised.
The tour of the Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha, and Hells Gate was incredible. We managed to see the big five and enjoyed a lot of great lodges/hotels along the way. The tour was slightly rearranged and disorganised but we still managed to see everything. Between our tour guides - Edward, Joffrey, and Moses - we were given really great information and help throughout the trip to ensure we managed to see everything. In terms of value for money - there is a lot of driving around which may feel like the fees paid can be somewhat too much. But as one realises the fees are predominately for the really great places you stay along the trip. One recommendation I do have is to try to get the jeeps instead of the vans (these make a massive difference to viewing and travel). Also, to take the bicycle ride at Hells Gate as opposed to driving. The long hours in the car can really add up so getting out and stretching your legs is very much needed.

A safari planned by the family you didn’t know you had in Tanzania
From months before I arrived, Stephen wrote asking me exactly what I was looking for to make the dream vacation with my 11 and 14 year old kids. By the time he got me at the airport, I felt like I was meeting an old friend. He made so much time to take us to local restaurants and shopping outside of the safari so we could truly experience Arusha too. The safari itself is what I wanted - more rustic with us using tents and staying at small family-owned locations. The chef cooked great meals using ingredients all bought from the local markets. The driver was unreal in his ability to handle roads and driving conditions that I know there is zero chance I could have done! We saw all of the animals we wanted - I don't get why people would not come towards the end of the rainy season when all of the babies are still with their parents. Going to multiple parks allowed us to see so many animals in different habitats. It is difficult to explain just how different it is seeing even the same animals inside the crater verses crossing the street in the Serengeti. Having an experienced driver is crucial because in addition to how freaking scary the roads, the guide can spot animals way in advance. There are a lot of options for tours but what I got with this one was an owner who genuinely cared to make my experience personal to make my dream come true. It was the little extra things Stephen did that I do not think a large company would ever do and that made a difference.

Wonderful trip in Tsavo West and East
The trip organized and managed by Karibu Safari Kenya was just perfect for me and my 2 friends. Everything was well managed, and our guide, Harouni, was very professional, welcoming and kind. We stayed in Ngulia and Voi Lodges, both of them really good! And we got to see all the big 5, so we were very lucky!
