Matata has been replaced by Masaka who was an excellent guide. We did a 12-days-safari trip through 4 different parks in South of Tanzania. Just amazing.
Masaka was perfect : serious, open-minded, flexible, efficient and very professional.
We had a great time.
The parks of South Tanzania are less touristic than Serengheti; you seem to get an exclusive experience.
The only bemol was the 2 days trip from Ruaha park to Katavi park : too much drive, too much traffic and trucks, and hotels were low-rated.

We had an incredible day trip to Chobe! Our hotel helped us to arrange the tour when we arrived in Vic Falls and everyone was so helpful and kind. Getting to the park and crossing the border couldn’t have gone smoother, our guides all were on time and helped us every step of the way.
We loved the safari and our guides were experts of the area, they knew exactly where to go to find the best animal sightings and since our family was the only one for the day they allowed us to take time to see everything we wanted. They were all friendly and so much fun. Lunch was in a beautiful location and delicious. And the riverboat tour was a highlight.
We think it is a must do activity in Vic Falls!

Trip of a Lifetime!
My 18 year old daughter and I recently traveled with Seven By Far Travel to Kenya and Tanzania on their 15 Day African Safari and Beach Holiday. It was the trip of a lifetime. Everything about our journey was incredible - the animals, the land, the people, the accommodations, and the food. Safety was my first concern, and we felt safe throughout our adventure. The safari vehicles owned by the company proved to be reliable transportation in the rugged terrain.
Sylvester Silvi, the tour operator, was great from the start. He responded promptly to all the questions that I emailed to him, both before and after we booked the trip - and I did have a lot of questions! He was willing to work with us in terms of finding a start date that would work for us since the dates he had going out didn’t fit our schedule. When I asked if we could add five days on to the trip to extend our time in Zanzibar and push our flight back those extra days, he said it was no problem. No extra cost was incurred for that arrangement. He offered to book another hotel those last few days, but when I said that wouldn’t be necessary he let me know that he would arrange for us to be transported from one hotel to the next hotel we had chosen, and at the end of that time he would have us transported from our hotel to the airport. He wanted to be sure that we made it to the airport to get our flight back to Nairobi so that we wouldn’t miss our connecting flight back to the U.S. No extra fee was charged for this arrangement. This is going above and beyond by someone who truly cares. Sylvester met with us four times during the trip and corresponded with us regularly throughout our journey on What’s App. He was in contact with us until we landed back in the United States.
A company is only as good as its weakest link - we did not run into any weak links. Seven By Far Travel is comprised of many knowledgeable and personable guides and drivers. We feel so fortunate to have been taken under the wings by Alfani, Antony, Hassan, Ali, Cholo, Robin, and Sylvia. They were quite a team, meeting us at the airport, transporting us from one accommodation to the next, navigating through the game parks, teaching us about the animals, helping us get through borders, assisting with the exchange of money into local currency, and making lots of jokes along the way!
Selecting a safari company over the internet is a daunting experience. Fortunately, I made the perfect choice with Seven By Far Travel. There were no hidden expenses or surprise fees that I had read about in reviews for other companies and outfitters. The only surprises were good ones, like a complimentary balloon ride over the Maasai Mara for booking early and hotel upgrades. Excellent experience with hiring RAV4 from Gladiola
I approached Gladiola at midnight of the day before I needed to hire a car, because another company let me down. I received an initial response after midnight, and confirmed a vehicle hire before 9am the following morning.
The company representative was at the agreed point for both pick up and drop off, dead on time. He was 2friendly, helpful and professional. The vehicle was in good condition, and I had no mechanical issues whatsoever.
I would strongly recommend Gladiola to others looking for a reasonably priced ($90/ day for unlimited km, plus $20 each for airport drop off and pick up) 5 door RAV4 with a retractable roof panel.

Unbelievable family safari!
Our driver was Sam and organiser was Perminus and I couldn’t recommend either highly enough. Everything we wanted in a family safari we got. Payment, itinerary, pickups - simple and without any issue. The driver was knowledgeable and made sure we saw as many animals as we could. Accommodation options were spot on. We traveled as a family with an 11yr old and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! The most memorable holiday we could have asked for.
