Very Helpful and knowledgeable
5/5

Ines at indigo Safari's were great.
We were finding it tricky to book our honeymoon as we wanted to experience a lot to tick off the bucket list.
Safari to see the big 5 was on the list so we turned to indigo as I seen they had good reviews and I now know why, plus they had a UK number.
I explained to Ines what were were looking for and she delivered on every detail within our budget and made great recommendations. We stayed at Arathusa lodge which was amazing, sfaff, game drives, food, accommodation was all great.

Thanks Ines and Indigo you helped deliver one of the best trips of our life

Topnotch for travel in Africa
5/5

Visiting Uganda was an important point on our African bucket list and our fifth visit to the continent. As a family of 3 we traveled for 17 days, visiting most of the countries highlights. The number of exclamation marks and positive descriptions would fill this page and would be totally unnecessary - just go, don't miss it. Uganda is different w.r.t. the other countries we have visited (SA, NAM, BOT, TZ, ZIM). In comparison, tourism infrastructure and standards are still developing. So at times you still need a Hakuna Matata attitude. As for our tour we were glad we booked with an experienced tour operator like Grassrootz and did not do it as a self drive (as in NAM and BOT). Grassrootz, that is Sander initially, and especially Paul, our driver-guide, kept things going very smoothly and efficient. All the usual admin hassle (e.g. choice of great lodges- Turaco Treetops excellent!, activities and park permits) and other travel issues (e.g. navigating the car through Kampala traffic, long driving hours) which tend to taint the experience, were taken care of. Our special thanks goes out to Paul for being a real master at his profession: positive attitude, knowledgeable, humorous, sensitive to client needs (Germans tend to be difficult at times), good driving/spotting etc. and always on top of things. To sum it up: Anytime again with Paul and Sander/Grassrootz.

Scammer
1/5

I have had the same experience as so many others. Paid for a trip, tried to go on the trip and no response from Gemma and no trip. It was not a cheap trip so what happened to all the money she stole from so many people and is there some way to retrieve the money through the legal system? She didn’t even bother to contact us to tell us we could not go on the trip. Beware if you see her name linked to any tours or companies.

Dreams come true
5/5

This is the second time I join the private tour, nine days safari in Kenya, organized by Image Travel. Like the previous tour in Tanzania, the tour fulfilled all my dreams including seeing great migration, big fives , special fives in Samburu and millions of flamingoes. The hotels and lodges Image Travel arranged were comfortable and clean. Jasan, our guide, was an expertise in finding animals and was keen to meet our expectations. No doubt I will ask Image Travel to plan my future tour in Africa.

Excellent 8 days solo safari
5/5

I traveled solo in February to Ndutu area and the entire trip turned out an amazing experience. Ezekiel my driver guide knew places and he do consider himself a guide who smell animals and before he sees he knows where to stop. I found this company online and they didn't disappoint at all. I recommend Jonas to everyone looking for a Ndutu experience and ask him about the best time to visit.

Unforgettable experience thanks to Meru Slopes
5/5

We are a couple and booked a 6-day private camping safari with two nights Serengeti, 1 night Ngorongoro, 1 night Tarangire and 1 night Lake Manyara. We had such adventurous, interesting and wonderful 6 days. Of course, a big part play the national parks with their beautiful landscape and all the wild animals living in them. However, what made our journey exceptional and why I am also so glad that we chose Meru Slopes as a tour operater were our guide Robert and chef Buga. They both made it their mission that we have a great time.
We loved that Robert chose rather lonely paths and calmly spotted animals there instead of chasing other jeeps (of which there can be a lot in Central Serengeti). Also, we really realized how much fun he had on the safari and that he really is a friend of the animals - which is always nice to see that the guide enjoys the wildlife too. Robert called the Serengeti his „second home“, and we really realized that. He knew every street and navigated perfectly (which is not obvious!), furthermore he drove very well making us feel always very safe even though we saw a lot of accidents and breakdowns during our journey. When there was a small problem with the car, he quickly repaired it by himself. Also, when we had questions about specific animals or whatever - he gave answers like Google would. When he was overwhelmed by a question of ours, he was not too proud to take out his „African wildlife“ book and search for the specific information - not just saying something vague like other guides would. And - as it can be supposed - his English was superb, in some discussions even better than ours. As a surplus, he was super funny!
Buga, our great chef, always ensured that we have a delicious hot meal for dinner as well as lunch (a lot of other companies do not offer this). Compared to other adventures like this where you have to be afraid of diarrhea, with Buga, you can even eat the raw stuff like salads or whatever - which was great. He even spoke English and was always in a good mood, which lifted us up even early in the morning.
In conclusion, we had an amazing time on this safari and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you !

The best way to get in touch with Africa
5/5

I booked a 2 night/3day safari in Nyerere National Park, starting the trip from Zanzibar and finishing back there (flights included).
I choose Shammah Wonder Safari as I took 3 quotes, and from there, Justin, the owner of the company, got in touch with me and started asking my needs and preferences, making sure everything was okay and perfect.
He helped me with all the details, even booking some accommodation in Zanzibar and finding me a driver, Makame.
I had the chance to know him and he was a very charming man who wanted to help in everything he could, so I highly recommend you to book your safari and activities through him.
About the safari, It was a really nice experience, so I could see lions, elephants, giraphs, impalas, zebras, hipos...It is not always easy to find them, but the guides where making an effort trying to find them and explaining you everything they knew about them and the land. Particularly I was very happy with my guides Jackson and Eli, who where very charming and welcoming, with a great level of english.
The accommodation was at Africa Safari Camp, and in my opinion was great, with a nice place to sleep and great food. Masai where guarding the place and they where really nice with guests. At night I had the chance to dance with them and it was an amazing moment I will never forget.
The one thing you should ask, is if you are going to a village or a school, as I did and didn't know. Then, you will have the chance to bring some materials and stuff to children and people over there that could use it and take profit.
In conclusion, this is one of the best experience I ever had and you will not regret if your attitude is positive, curious and grateful.

Amazing!
5/5

A safari with Serengeti Wakanda is not just a safari... It's an unforgettable experience, from start to finish: there is no downside. We spent four days roaming the roads of the African savannah, seen heaps of magnificent animals thanks to our patient guide, ate wonderfully thanks to our chef, slept peacefully thanks to Bartho's perfect organization. Book with your eyes closed, and you will remember it all your life!

Beyond expectations and exceptional experience!
5/5

We had an absolute glamorous experience in our 3 days safari to Mikumi National park,
we got quite lucky with the game drives and managed to see amazing Tanzanian wildlife beings.
Msangi our tour operator managed to make us meet our beyond expectations by communicating every single detail or demand in advance. Our safari driver Emmanuel provided us with a detailed knowledge of the wild animals and their habitat and was genuinely enjoying sharing the safari experience with us.
Our driver Patrick is a pro on road trips and gave us the best convenience in his rides.
The 3 days Mikumi National Park safari / hiking at Ngorongoro mountain trip is a value for money and an unforgettable experience to get to know Tanzanias wildlife and its amazing and welcoming people.
Would totally recommend
