We (family with three children age 11/14/16) had a great 7 day Mobile Camping Safari through Central Kalahari, Makgadikgadi, Naxai Pan and Moremi.
Our guide Kem was very experienced, driving very safe and enabling great animal encounters with wild dogs (hunting impalas), leopards (eating a kill) and lions.
The support team (Simon, Bruce and Slow) provided a great camping experience with fresh and delicious food and professional camping equipment.
In my view it could not be better!

Reliable, professional and eager provider.
We spontaneously booked a 3-day safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve with Jocky Tours and Safaris because of the good reviews and the reasonable price. The communication was quick and smooth from the beginning. On the discussed day our guide, Joshua, picked us up punctually at the hotel and drove with us to the office to clarify the payment. Afterwards we drove over the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Joshua shone throughout the trip with his extensive knowledge of Kenya's nature and culture and we could tell that it was personally important to him to impart knowledge to us. He has 17 years of experience as a tour guide and already during the first afternoon gamedrive we could see many animals (including cheetahs and lions). The next day, we were still missing leopards, we could also discover these. Since we are interested in all animals of Kenya, we also talked a lot with Joshua about the local bird species and he could teach us a lot about the birds.
Joshua was very keen to give us the best possible time, which he absolutely succeeded in doing! The communication with the office and Joshua was impeccable. The accommodation we booked was clean and everyone was helpful and friendly. The food was traditional Kenyan food and fantastic - it tasted like grandma's.
Arrangements were kept, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable and things forgotten by us were even brought independently to the hotel. Gladly, gladly again. Thank you for the unforgettable time!

A one stop travel and tour company. An authentic African safari with an all round experience is what this company offers. I was able to book with then so easily and the costs were within my budget. I think these guys are about the service they offer to their clients and not the money clients offer them. I would recommend to any one who wishes to experience a fulfilling life in the wild, the costal life, life away from the oceans and of course the plains. They create a life that meet the clients wishes and dreams.

Exceptionally professional, well-organized and most pleasant tour operator.
We did a six day safari tour with African Polecat Safaris in February 2023 having the best time of our lives.
Starting with a smart and professional booking cycle, where James (tour operator) was exceptionally responsive and helpful, we started our Tanzania trip feeling very well prepared. After a quick and uncomplicated pickup, including a face-to-face briefing the day before, we drove from Arusha to the Serengeti. Elly, our driver and guide, did a fantastic job, showing us the best spots, explaining the wildlife and scenery during game drives, and making sure we felt welcome and comfortable at all times. Together with "DVD", the chef of the tour, they answered every single question and helped us to have a great trip and an extraordinary experience. We never felt like just their clients, but always part of a group of friends joking together and having a good time.
The guys managed to exceed all our expectations! From always taking care of us, being friendly and helpful, to showing us ALL of the Big Five, which was an absolute blast!!!! Elly promised us he would fight to make this happen, and he kept his word :)
Overall, we had an outstanding time during our trip, with most lovely people who even became friends of us!
If you are thinking about doing a Safari trip, always keep African Polecat Safaris in mind and ask for Elly and DVD - those guys made our vacation unforgettable!

Absolutely fantastic, 5 stars. An incredible operator with wonderful guides. Our accommodations were very comfortable, the vehicle was well maintained, and the service was stellar. From start to finish, we had a great experience. Vanessa helped my wife and I tailor a 9 day safari across southern Kenya. Our guide, Stephen Shuma, was something of a celebrity in the safari world and was equal parts host and friend on our journey. We saw the Big 5 and immersed ourselves in Kenyan culture at our own comfortable pace, or “pole pole” as they say in Swahili. We intend to return to Africa in the future and will definitely book with Spirit of Kenya!
