Trip of a lifetime!
I did an 11-day safari with Mufasa Tours and Travel in October 2021. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend this tour operator. Joe put together an itinerary for me at the last minute and it could not have been more perfect. The lodges and tented camps were incredible and the people are some of the friendliest you will ever meet. I saw so much wildlife! My guide James was very knowledgeable about the animals and birds and even taught me Swahili at night. If you have the time, go to Amboseli (for the elephants) and Tsavo West (to stay at the lodge they use with a very active waterhole). I also spent a day with Mufasa in Nairobi before the safari, visiting Nairobi National Park, the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Centre, and the Karen Blixen House – highly recommend this day trip with them before you start your safari adventure. I plan to go back to Kenya with my daughter and will definitely use Mufasa again. For this trip, I was a solo female and I had zero issues or concerns.

Awesome adventure
This was a once in a life time 8 day safari with an emphasis on the migration. We saw lions everyday, we saw cheetahs and leopards, elephants and giraffe. We saw a gazelle giving birth and an impressive lion kill. Then, the creme de la creme was when we saw a Wildebeest crossing on the Mara river. About 3000 wildebeest crossing the river.
This trip was more than we hoped for and our driver, David, was extremely good. He spotted animals of all sizes and told us so much information about each animal, bird, and plant. Brilliant vacation

Popote gifted us an amazing experience in Kili and Safari, very good job!
Popote is a great choice to do your trip to Tanzania, we did Kili climbing and Safari and both experiences were amazing ans successfull. Yuo can see they have well prepared guides and teams. They provide you with all necessary stuff and always everybody has a smile and try to help you. I feel we went back with new friends. We had a great time and surely I would call Popote travel agency again if I return to a similar trip. Definitely advisable don't doubt withe them, it will a success.

Six day Machame Route Kilimanjaro
Where to begin with this incredible experience? My partner Maggie and I were looking to find a cost effective way to Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and came across this option. With the climb being cheaper compared to the other guiding groups we weren’t sure what to expect. Lazaro and his team quickly but our doubts to rest by over-delivering in every facet of the climb. Lazaro instantly makes you feel like a friend, as if you have known him for years. His knowledge of the mountain and area is second to none, and one can see this through the admiration he receives from other guides. Each day we were given a substantial briefing, and knew exactly what to expect in order to get the job done of reaching the summit. We had delicious food prepared for us multiple times a day, with coffee and hot chocolate as snacks in between. We were able to achieve success in reaching the summit through the excellent leadership of Lazaro, Ezekiel, and their team. We are truly thankful for this experience, but more thankful to have made such great friends along the way.
I would highly recommend this to any person who is visiting Tanzania who wants top-tier guiding service and experience of a lifetime.
Hope to come back some day for more.

The Best Trip with the Best Guide!
We loved out safari with Mwema Africa Safaris! Our e mail contact Simon was informative, accommodating, and replied quickly. He organized exactly what we wanted and chose perfect hotels to make our trip even better. Richard our guide was knowledgeable, fun and chill at the same time, and he tailored our trip to what would suit us perfectly. We saw incredible animals, stayed at beautiful hotels with gorgeous views and great food, and felt that his experience and temperament allowed us to see more animals because he wasn't rushing around like some of the other guides we saw on the trip. We visited Amboseli, Tsvao West and Tsvao East and loved every minute of it. I work for a major US Airline and travel a lot. I can say this was one of the best organized trips ever.

meine Schwester 2 Freunde u. ich hatten die 3 Tage Big Five Safari gebucht und sind absolut begeistert. Unser deutschprachiger Guide hatte sich für die 3 Parks sehr viel Zeit genommen und war für jede Frage offen. Landschaftlich und menschlich ist Tansania ein Traum. Wir wurden von allen herzlich empfangen.
Am 4. Tag hatten wir eine Dorfbesichtigung mit Kräuterwanderung bei den Maseis. Uns wurde die Kultur und die lebensweise gezeigt.

my sister 2 friends and I had booked the 3 day Big Five Safari and are absolutely thrilled. Our German-speaking guide had taken a lot of time for the 3 parks and was open to any question. Tanzania is a dream in terms of landscape and people. We were warmly welcomed by everyone.
On the 4th day we had a tour of the village with a herb hike near the Maseis. We were shown the culture and the way of life.

Well worth it, does not disappoint!
I spoke to more than 10 safari agencies. Anita stood out from the beginning because she was very responsive and you could ask 10 questions at once, she would kindly and patiently reply to all 10.
I made several adjustments and special requests to our plans. We wanted to stay in nice lodges, so Anita let me hand-pick the lodges and adjusted the itinerary to all our wishes.
We came to a very reasonable agreement in terms of price. We designed the route and picked the lodges, but we did not carry the extra cost of a private safari and so the agency offered another 4 people to join our itinerary, but never changed the route agreed with me.
Then came our guide and driver Joseph. He is awesome! Excellent driving skills and orientation in the tough roads of the Serengeti. Super reliable, dealt with logistics of pickups, dropoffs and meals with minimal impact on the fun safari time. Joseph is kind, professional and knowledgeable. Friendly but serious about his job. Knew everything about the animals and answered sooo many questions. Drove such long distances but could spot the tiniest of creatures while driving! A guide like this really makes your safari. I highly recommend this team!
The meals were great thanks to our chef, we always had lunch in comfortable places.
On the final day there was an issue with our hotel in Arusha, but Joseph didn’t leave us until he knew we were safe and happy in a different hotel, and then Mohamed the agency boss came personally to check on us! I forgot something in the safari jeep and they went out of their way to come meet me and give it back. Really in terms of professionalism and reliability we are very happy! Thank you for an incredible experience and hoping to send many friends your way!

Trip of a lifetime!
The Luxury Safari Company helped us put together an amazing trip to Botswana for a big birthday celebration. I was getting overwhelmed by all the options, also being our first proper safari I was not 100% sure what we were looking for (besides the Big 5). Rose kindly went through the various alternatives with us and the final combination of Little Machaba and Zarafa Camp was perfect! Covid restrictions caused many concerns and logistical challenges but The Luxury Safari Company were very flexible and understanding.
After many months of planning we were on our way and the trip was extremely smooth and perfectly executed. Wildlife was beyond amazing, guides were excellent and camps super comfortable. Despite getting up a 5am in the morning it was one of the most relaxing holidays we´ve had, everything was taken care of even the things we didn´´t even know we wanted :)
As much as I say trip of a life time, I have a feeling there will be another one coming soon!
