Great welcome with very kind and help-full people at the Camp close to the Selous game-reserve.
5/5

We had a warm welcome from de people of the camp (Selous Game Reserve). I felt directly save and at home. Our room was very well furnished, clean and in African style. A nice, big bed, ceiling fans, mosquito net atmospheric lighting. Comfortable bathroom with warm and cold water.
A round pool to cool down.
The restaurant is well equipped and we enjoyed the breakfast, lunches and dinners. Also good possibilities for my vegetarian wife. I enjoyed the bar.
The parc-visit was exciting: in an open car we saw many animals and the driver know how to take care. Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, crocodiles, hippo's, lions, vultures and a lot of other different birds, waterbucks, and zebra's. The driver had a lot of knowledge of the nature and the animals.
I really felt in contact with the African nature also because it was pure not too touristy.

Beautiful encounter in and with the heart of Africa
5/5

All arranged smoothly by Paradise and Wilderness we arrived at the beautiful Africa Safari Camp. We really liked the natural appearance of the accomodation, the friendly people at the camp attending our every needs, and the way the camp is situated in the middel of nature.
Besides the Game Drive with experienced driver/guides, you can join a riversafari, a bush walk and a visit at a local village. The bush walk was informative, and entertaining, ending with making a fire the Masaai-way. It was great fun. The bootsafari in the early morning was enchanting, the broad Rufuji river with the high banks. And off course we spotted a few hippo-families, resting in the water to hide from the sun. In the middle of the Camp is a nice pool, particulary suitable for a refreshing bath. I really appreciate the way they find a balance between nature and comfort. I will not easy forget the beautiful starry nights at the bonfire with the sounds of the little animals like the bushbaby and the crickets. Everything was very clean and everyday clean towels waited for us folded in a beautiful way with some flowers from the garden.

Amazing Safari Experience
5/5

My wife and I just returned from an 8-day safari with Afrishare Trekking and Safaris to Tarangire, the Serengeti, the Great Migration, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, and Materuni Falls and coffee plantation. Wow.

While our experiences with the animals, landscape, and people were amazing, our exeprinces with Afrishare were even better.

We booked on Viator after reading the 100 reviews (almost all 5 stars) and immediately received personalized communication from the owner Ibrahim. Whenever we had a question, Ibrahim promptly responded in a very helpful manner.

The first morning of the safari our guide Freddy was there and was genuinely happy to meet us. Freddy is very knowledgeable (7 years experience), pleasant, polite, fun, and dedicated to meeting our needs to make our adventure memorable. He succeeded.

Afrishare is a smaller safari company, and we think that is what allowed for the dedicated and personalized service we received.

The vehicle was comfortable (pop-top extended Land Cruiser) in excellent condition. The roads are tough on these vehicles, but Freddy regularly checked it over and was quick to seek care if the vehicle appeared to need it (like a 10 minute clutch adjustment).

The accommodations were superb. My favorite was the Acacia Serengeti Camp. Luxe tented rooms from which you look directly into the Serengeti. Immersion with great comfort.

Go with Afrishare. Ask for Freddy. You will not be disappointed. We will next time!
6 stars.

Awesome
5/5

Absolutely perfect

Memorable Experience. Soul of Tanzania showed a total professionalism from the first email we exchanged with Louis (journey designer), replaying to emails quickly, sometimes in minutes. Adapting the trip to our needs, finding solutions to any request. The guide (Vincent) fantastic, attentive to everything we needed, always smiling, friendly, speaking a very good Spanish and able to take us to the right place just at the perfect time. We saw the big 5, with lions walking very close to us, elephants, hippos, cheetah, leopard, crocodile, giraffes, buffalo, vultures, baboons, zebras ..... Unforgettable and 100% recommendable experience

A magical and exciting trip to see the natural beauty of Kenya, the Rift Valley and its animals.
5/5

Copy of Tripadviser Review.
We spent 10 days travelling around Amboseli Reserve, Lake Naivasha, Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. We travelled some 2,000km over a lot of dusty and bumpy roads to visit the game parks.
All the accomidation was varied and all very enjoyable.
Our driver/tour guide, Norman, was terrific. He drove us in a well maintained Toyota LWB Landcruiser with Pop Top.
Animal viewing from the vehicle was comfortable and spectacularly close to the animals. The vehicle was tough and perfect for the task.
Norman is a local Kenyan resident and was a font of knowledge and good company as well. Norman was also a great help in buying things along the way like Masai Shukas (Shukas are a colorful Masai blanket and a really good momento and a great gift to take back. Cost is about $USD 7-10) plus lovely fresh bananas and bottled water. Thank you Norman!!
We used Credit Cards where necessary and had no problems. We converted some $USD at the government exchange Bureau for Kenyan Shilling. The exchange rate is roughly $1USD to 100 Kenyan Shilling. It was good to have some local currency for the odd purchase at the markets.
The food at each resort was good and we generally had a large buffet brekfast, coming back for lunch and a rest some days and back out in the late afternoon. We always had a big buffet dinner after a long day out with the animals. The resorts would also pack a lunch if we wanted to stay out for the whole day.
The viewing of animals was superb and Norman got us to see the "Big Five", the Mass Migration and the Mara River mass crossing.
Amboseli Resort, Lake Nakuru Sopa Resort, Lake Nakuru Sopa Resort were probably 5 star. Masai Mara Mara River Camp were we stayed in tents was probably 3-4 star and all were very enjoyable and friendly. The Masai Mara River Camp was at least as enjoyable as the 5 star places.
At night we were very close to the animals.
It was usual to be escorted to and from your accom after dark.
The Rift Valley was just spectacular and vast. It runs from Tanzania to Mozambique and is simply stunning and full of grasslands and animals.
The temperature throughout was a very comfortable mid 20sC even though the Parks are mostly along the equator. The altitude moderates the climate around Nairobi and all the parks.
10 days is probably long enough. If you are short of time 7 days would also work if you drop off one or two of the lake destinations. Flying into the parks is an option if you are time or health challeged.
Natural World Kenya Safaris were organised, had excellent staff and I would recommend. The only error was our ride to the airport was mixed up and Clarence House arranged alternative transport with no problems.
Thanks you to the staff at Clarence House.
Clarence house is a lovely place to stay before and after Safari. The accom is nice and clean, buffet and a la carte food is served in the restaurant. Clarence House also has a pool and a comfortable cocktail bar.
Make sure you keep up your fluids with blizzardly cold Tusker Lager. Served in a 500ml bottle for $2-5 USD depending where you are.
Enjoy. Jambo Jambo! Asanti!
