4-day unforgettable experience!
We enjoyed 4-day safari trip from Nairobi through Abmoseli National park, Tsavo National Park and ended in Mombasa.
Our communication with the contact person Purity was very easy, quick and efficient - he gave useful advices and did it also in evenings and weekends!
Our driver Kitavi was really nice and pleasant person who did his job with full responsibility and took care that we really see as much as possible. He was also an exciting conversation companion so that we could get to know so much interesting about Kenya.
Those were unforgettable days and amazing experience!

The perfect safari
The trip was excellent, the hotels were amazing, the safari truck amazing, places and animals beautiful, we saw 40 diferentes species, it was incredible and the guide George was incredible too, he was respectful, always on time, and always with a smile at his face and help us so much with explanations of everything! It was the perfect trip.

This trip, was a dream yo me, all my Life. Now is acomplished, and im my feeling is absolutly AMAZING. George was the best tour guide, he is super charming, kind, so smart and cultivated, he knows a lot of the culture and about the animals! We are so greatfull that george knor spanish we full very confortable with him so respectfull man. This experiencie i will never forget.

Outstanding
Bamboo ecotours were outstanding on all
aspects.
They are a small, specialised, local, community based company. The company gives a percentage of profits to the community (we saw some of the water wells and benefits of this). The owner met us personally at the end for our feedback.
Their communication was extremely responsive and timely throughout . We got a 10% discount , no other groups in the vehicle (so a private tour) and upgrades on some hotels as we confirmed v early (6 months). Excellent result and much appreciated. It was a 10 day tour with only 2 nights at stayovers so a huge amount of driving for the guide. (5-8 hours most days).
The organisation was meticulous. We always felt safe and supported. All treks (gorilla, golden monkey and rhino) the guide ensured we specifically knew our ranger/porter and they knew us. The guide answered all questions including on agriculture politics food, culture as well as of course the amazing animals (and what to wear when and what to take).
Our guide, Herbert, deserves a special mention. He seemed to know everyone everywhere. He could not have been more professionally caring, calm or knowledgeable and his passion for his job and the animals shone through. He worked so hard to ensure we saw all the animals (leopards and a hyena on the last nighttime game drive!). The safaris with him driving and spotting animals in rough terrain were crazy. And brilliant.
Ugandan people were lovely and welcoming everywhere. (Even immigration!!). Rightly proud of their country.
And the animals…. We saw the big 5 plus mountain gorillas, giraffes and more. Truly an epic adventure.
I would have no hesitation recommending bamboo ecotours from our experience. 10/10.

Magical
I could not have asked for a more amazing experience than I have had with WanderingThru. I originally booked the holiday 2 years ago but because of COVID I had to postpone due to travel restrictions. Ale was so understanding and helpful in getting me booked onto a later trip. Unfortunately due to something beyond everyone's control this also had to be rearranged. Ale regularly kept me fully up to date with what was happening which was very reassuring under the circumstances. She is so friendly and always responds to emails quickly should you have any questions or concerns. In fact we've emailed each other so much over the last 2 years, she feels like a pen pal
