A good trip
4/5

In total we were with 9 people, that was a little bit to much for the car. It fits, but 8 would be nicer. The tripp was good, the driver was nice. The second night we slept at the red chili camp and not the firtst night what would be normal. That meants that the gamedrive was short, that makes that the driver had to drive quitte hard to get on time on the boat. That was not so nice. The boattripp was nice, the walk beautifull and the gamedrive could be longer. The accomodation both days where fine. I had a good time.

Unforgettable tour to Akagera and Nyungwe NP
5/5

After being in Rwanda for one week in a bigger group with friends and at first additionally with students and teachers we three of us wanted to see Akagera and Nyungwe National Parks. We needed transport and chose Golden Rwanda Tours & Travel Agency. Frank, the owner, picked us up in Kayonza where we stayed in an ecolodge led by a women's association and drove us in his air-conditioned car with all amenities (e.g. music videos) to Akagera NP. From the beginning he told us so many details about his country and in the park he showed us all the different landscapes and didn't mind working extra time to show us as many animals as possible. Except for the lions who had babies and were therefore hidden in the bush we saw almost everything. Only the hippos were not at "hippo pool" and didn't want to come out from other lakes, but finally we experienced them in a very impressive way on a boat trip on Lake Ihema. On our way to the south we did some extra stops, Frank led us to one of his favourite restaurants in Kigali, and we stopped at Nyanza Kings Palace and the graves of king and queen. After the mountain forest in Nyanza we went to see the border to DR Congo as a bonus which was also very interesting, and went back north on the new road along Kivu Lake with many nice views of the lake and a big afternoon meal at a lakeside restaurant so that we could not eat that much in a restaurant with splendid view of Kigali at night. Completely unexpected, we experienced American-Irish-somehow international "pre-halloween" in the heart of Africa. At last, Frank enabled us to take pictures of colourful Convention Centre at night. Frank was very helpful, friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the trip a lot and so did Frank apparently. It's obvious that he loves his job, he's a tour guide with heart and soul, but nevertheless professional and we can recommend his company without any restriction. Also, our tour was very well organized and at a fair and reasonable price. Golden Rwanda Tours offers also tours to neighbouring countries. If we happen to go on a tour maybe in Congo or Tanzania, we will do so with Frank and Golden Rwanda Tours.

7 day Safari and Victoria Falls
5/5

We just got back from a fantastic trip organized by Mark Hathaway of Gondwana tours and Safari. Everything surpassed our expectations and the various transfers went like clockwork. Mark was excellent with communications before our trip and recommended the camps to us. We stayed at Stanley's and Khwai tented camp where the wildlife viewing was outstanding, our hotel in Victoria Fall was also lovely. All in all a fantastic trip!! We added three days in Cape Town on our own and that was just as gorgeous!

Simply Sensational Safari Exceeding Expectations
5/5

Absolutely top marks for the friendly and efficient way in which our safari was planned.

We were accompanied on the safari by Hoppy who is a truly wonderful guide. He really knows his stuff, including all the birds and smaller animals. He has the sharpest eyes, and we always seemed to be in the right place at the right time with frequent sightings of all The Big Five, and particularly exciting ones of lion and leopard.
Hoppy is excellent company with a nice sense of humour, and although he has been spending years taking people to the park, he still shares the same enthusiasm and thrill as ourselves when we spot something of interest.
He also treated us to an excellent braai one evening in camp.

Our sincerest thanks to all at Wildlife Safaris for such a memorable four-day Safari, and we look forward to joining you again one day.

Roger Turski listened to us and delivered a magnificent product. Exactly what we were hoping for.
5/5

We spent 4 days/nights in Machaba and 3 in Lebala camps and could not have hoped for a better experience. Roger made sure that we would have Shaun as tracker/driver in Machaba. Our main objective was leopards and Shaun is for sure the most ardent admirer of that animal. He allowed us to spend countless hours living with a mother and son, gorging on a gazelle, chasing waterbucks and posing on trees. Absolutely beautiful. Large numbers of elephants, hippos, giraffes, all species of gazelles, baboons, and 3 lionesses feasting on a small giraffe. The camp was perfectly managed by Elke (Belgian origin as me and Shaun's wife), the set up magnificent, the food delicious and the tents pretty comfortable even without A/C. A large bull elephant came by to say hello, almost in our tent. Lebala was different in its set up mostly because of the dry season and water was less visible. But we saw fantastic wildlife as well: a 20+ family of wild dogs "playing" with a large elephant, a pride of 5 lionesses and their 7 kiddos hunting on warthogs and feasting on one of them, countless fish eagles and elephants, some buffaloes, onyxes, 3 male lions taking it easy, hippos everywhere and very close to the camp, and of course all possible gazelles. The camp was very comfortable as well, including a charming show organized by the staff during our going out party dinner in the wild. And the cherry on the cake was: no internet. What a pleasure not to be compelled to check that feature every 5 minutes. Thanks to Roger, Elke, Shaun and the staffs, it will be a fantastic souvenir.

Great adventure in Uganda.
5/5

Even before our journey started everything was well organised.
The communication with Grassrootz was very well. Questions were answered mostly the same day.
We had a hard time picking the right trips, so our journey had to be changed many times which was no problem at all.
In Uganda everything was perfect.
David our guide was a nice guy who could learn us a lot about the country.
Great trips that were well organised and good lodges to sleep.
We really enjoyed our staying in Uganda thanks to Grassrootz.

Regards,
Willemien and Jacobien from Holland.

Our best safari with Malengo Tours
5/5

We did a safari early November, in Selous Game Reserve. Malengo tours is a small company.
Compared to large companies, we were alone during the all safari. Bakari and Armani (our driver and our guide) were very kind. They did everything to make us happy. We were so satisfy than we have decided to make others excusions with them in zanzibar.

Extraordinary Safari Experience
5/5

We booked a 6 day safari (Masai Mara/Lake Nakuro/Amboseli) in oktober at safaribookings.com for november and got an imediate answer from John Peter (African Paradise Safari). We had to transfer 60% of the amount in advance on their kenyan bank account wich took quite a time because our german bank had some problems finding the account, so I got a bit nervous. But John was very helpful and friendly and suggested to sort everything out when we'd be in Kenya. And so the money arrived just as we started our safari. John cought up with us at our hotel to organise everything, took us on a city tour and was a great assistence as our luggage got lost on the way to Kenya. He organised the transfer of the delayed luggage on 3rd day to the Masai Mara. We were really lucky to meet him.
We took part of a group of 6 people which was perfect for a safari trip in a safarivan. Our safari driver and guide was Patrick from Absolut Holiday Safari/Big Time Safari, because they are a resource sharing group. Patrick was definitely one of the highlights of our safari and you should request him if you can. He is a very warm, nice person with an excellent knowledge of the animals and the savannah. I remark on his ability because he was able to spot and land us as virgin spectators into various animal adventures and incomparable spots. So we were quite lucky and spotted the Big5 during the first 2 days in the Masai Mara. Altogether it was an excellent trip. We chose the budget option wich means small safari tents, uncomfortable beds, no constant electricity and a really close to nature experience.
All in all a once in a livetime experience!

The perfect trip
5/5

We did the 5-days tour (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) with BestDay safari and it really was the perfect trip:

- The most important thing first: Peter, the owner, is not only extremely friendly but also takes care of your personal needs. Dullah, our driver, was just the nicest person and taught us a lot about Tansania and its culture. Thanks to Dullah, we saw the "Big 5" as well as so many other species. Peter and Dullah really made the trip special! Also they are both from Arusha and we would always recommend to support a local company (not the big Indian companies that don't pay the employees well).

- The lodges and tented camps were all clean, cosy and something special. The staff was always nice and the food delicious (no stomach problems).

- The parks and animals are for us Europeans just very impressive! It's a once in a lifetime trip, guys :)!

- The people in Tansania are incredibly friendly and the culture very special. We always felt safe!

- All in all, really a perfect trip with good value-for-money!

Amazing holiday made even better with Gorilla Link Tours support!
5/5

I contacted Carol at Gorilla Link Tours to get support planning my trip to Uganda. She has just been amazing, so helpful, so friendly, and helping me to arrange my holiday exactly the way I wanted with the budget I wanted. I traveled alone and never felt any danger nor annoyance. I have learnt a lot about Uganda talking to Carol and her collaborators. We visited the Gaddafi mosque in Kampala and the Nile source in Jinja. With Carol's guidance I could try local food in local places: tilapia fish at Jinja, luwombo, matoke, posho, yam, karo... I just loved the food in Uganda! and of course I can't miss the rolex, perfect breakfast food. I then moved to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Carol had arranged for me a stay in a cool lodge where Tony took good care of me, arranging my safari and a boat tour last minute (I saw soooooo many animals!!!). I then moved to Rushaga for my gorilla tracking, for which Carol got the permit for me. I stayed in Nshongi camp, just next to the tracking departure, immersed in nature and again perfect hospitality. I am so glad I got the help of Carol for my trip: she made it perfect! very recommended!
