Affordable & Accommodating
4/5

Ewamanns Safaris is an affordable and accommodating company. My friend and I booked a safari within a week of our departure and about 36 hours in advance I was able to call and delay our departure as I had a last minute deadline come up at work. Our safari was also during off season, but I definitely appreciated the flexibility.

During off season you may not get see as many animals, but the perks include easy booking, cheaper rates, and an uncrowded campsite and reserve!

Accomodations
I believe the accommodations were commensurate with the rate. The campground was accessible to the Reserve and comfortable for a 2 night stay. Ewamanns did a great job setting up accommodation expectations as they sent me a picture of the tent/campgrounds while I was booking it, so there were no surprises here.

Food
Food was inclusive of the tour and they provided vegetarian options for those with some dietary restrictions. Note if you have more strict dietary restrictions like celiac it would be best to bring your food!

Safari
As far as the safari goes it was incredible!!! Everyone had a window seat to it was pretty easy to take pictures and take in the sights. Our driver didn't talk that much as was hard at first to know what was going on. However, in context our tour had 3 groups in one bongo speaking 3 different languages, within a day we were able to get in groove with communicating with one another. Overall it was a great trip.

Northern Circuit Safari
5/5

In September and October of 2016 we went on a 6-day northern safari circuit route in Tanzania (excluding Ngorongoro, but with 3 days in Serengeti). We inmensely enjoyed our travels there, thanks to the excellent personal service by Flash Photography;

We were picked up by the managers from the airport, had a briefing and stayed in a relaxing hotel before we set out on the safari. Our suggestions on what we wanted to do were taken seriously as were our dietary requirements.

We travelled with an excellent guide who had more than 15 years of field experience in every safaripark in Tanzania and Kenya, who was able to spot wildlife much better than most guides (Big Nine, witnessing multiple kills). During safari we stayed in comfortable tents and were taken care of very hospitibly.

At the end of the safari we were again helped out with services to the airport. In all, we have little to no complaints and only positive memories of our trip. Hope you enjoy it as well.

About: Safarihub
A wonderful holiday
5/5

It was a wonderful holiday.

We were very happy with all the places we went to and felt that Safarihub had found places that really suited us. Everything worked like clockwork until the last flight home. We would (and did) recommend your company to other people and if we do another trip to Africa would certainly consult you.

About: 4x4 Uganda
Great car, excellent service
5/5

I booked my entire holiday in Uganda myself: car rental, lodges, trekking permits.
Had lots of email contacts with a lot of people to arrange it all, but Paul from 4x4Uganda was the one I could rely on to reply prompty and accurately. Knowing what I know now, I would have asked Paul to take care of the trekking permits as well, and would have consulted him abour our lodge reservations. I got a good price on the car, and it performed great. Yes, there was a problem: a shock broke down. Within 3 hours after I phoned Paul there was a mechanic at the (remote) lodge where I was staying, with a replacement shock. At no extra costs for me.
I also had to drive the car over a flooded road, and the one meter high water proved too much for a bigger toyota safari jeep, but the prado came through without problems. (Made for some nice video's to:-)
In short: good car, good price, great service! Highly recommended!!!

Awesome
5/5

The only way to describe our trip to Kenya and Tanzania is awesome. We worked with Susan who helped us plan a flawless trip. From the time we were picked up at the hotel and went through four parks in Kenya and Tanzania to the time we were dropped at the airport everything worked perfectly. Our guides were knowledgeable and very informative. We learnt a lot from them from facts about various animals to the culture of the country. If you are planning a safari we would definitely recommend contacting Susan and Niko. Also ask for Eliud as your guide we really enjoyed touring with him.
Susan was easy to work with and very concerned that our trip went smoothly. She kept close tabs on our movements throughout the trip, and solved problems before they arose. Thank you Susan and Niko for a really memorable time.

Organization was good.
4/5

Mike spoke in detail about the possible safari options, and two, and three, and a greater number of days. We have chosen the best possible option - 6 days. But in this case we had to wait two days. We paid per night at the hotel in anticipation of the first day of the waiting vyezda.V day drove to the waterfall, the evening was able to see Kilimanjaro. The second day we alone walk on the city of Arusha.
And the guide-driver, and povar- great guys. During the trip, they were attentive, took care of us.
We received from the Safari a lot of positive emotions! Adrenaline sometimes rolls over! Camp in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro no fence in the open nature! And at night sometimes lions, hyenas and elephants go !!! People remember it! Stock up on "nocturnal vyzami".
Breakfasts and dinners were tasty, depleted rations. We did not go hungry. 1.5 liter of water for each given day.
Mike helped us in buying tickets to Zanzibar.
Thank you very much for such a great trip!

Great tour with Mama Savana
5/5

We did a 7 day Safari in september 2016 with Mama Savana. It was a great experience and an amazing trip.
First of all we arrived at Kilimandscharo Airport on monday 12th september. The director of Mama Savana picked up at the airport and dropped off at McAlley's Hotel in Arusha. On Tuesday we had a free day and walked around in Arusha.
On Wednesday our guide picked up at McAlley's Hotel for starting the Safari. Our first national park was the Tarangire. It was nice first tour with a lot of elephants, zebras, girafe, pelican and a big snake. On Wednesday night we went to the Sangaiwe tented Lodge close to the park. The lodge was pretty nice with amazing view and really amazing tents. Thursday morning the trip ahead to the Lake Manyara. In the night we were at the Olea Africian Lodge. In this Lodge the dinner was excellent. Friday the tour went to the Ngorongoro park. The view of the crater in the morning was amazing. In the crater are a lot of different animals (hippos, lions, buffalo, wildbeast, one rhino etc.). Friday afternoon we drove further to the Serengeti park (round 3 hours) and spent the night in the Mbugani tented lodge. This tented are in the center of the serengeti park at a small river. In the night you can hear the lions and buffalos who coming to the river. A great experience. We stayed here for two nights. Sunday afternoon we went to the Akazia Farm lodge. This lodge was the best of all. Great service with a great view.
Monday morning we went back to Arusha. Our guide dropped off at cafe close to Arusha and we had one last coffee together. Afterwards the director drove us to the airport.

Summit:
Our guide Allen was always capable and took care of us. He was really funny =). He shown us all big five and many more.
The food and provisions in the lodges and the lunch pakets were always top.
All lodges were comfortable and very clean and the staff ´was always friendly.

Great tour. Great experience. Great people. Great nature. Amazing animals.
