An amazing experience in Namibia during our 15 days trip with Shikwaru Adventures
Three years ago we’ve been to South Africa with Federica. Everything was so great that we decided to make another trip with her this year, in Southern Namibia this time.
Once again, we have muchly appreciated her great professionalism even when difficulties occured, her excellent ideas during all the trip, her tasty cooking, as she almost always cooked for us local dishes such as bobotie, and her wide cultural and historical knowledge of the country.
Federica is a very caring person who is always vigilant of the needs of each person in the group. She has a lot of qualities but what we really appreciated was her humanity, and her respect towards people as well as nature.
We also had a really good contact with Dewald, who was not only driving, but with whom we also shared a lot of happy moments with great kindness. We are already missing his delicious rusks and braai.
The organisation during the trip was really great, especially when we were camping. For example, five persons of our group didn’t get their luggage when we arrived in Namibia, so Federica made arrangements for us to have extra blankets and pillows until we got our luggage back.
There was also a perfect background organization, with Ruan, who was staying in South Africa and who was constantly checking on the phone with Federica to see if everything was all right.
Namibia is a big and amazing country, with its wonderful landscapes which are very diversified, as well as its wildlife, which is very important to respect and protect.
We had a fantastic experience, so we highly recommend this 2 weeks trip in Namibia with Shikwaru Adventures.

Amazing custom-built 7 nights Kruger National Park safari + Panorama Route and Maputo, Mozambique da
Our small group of 6 had an amazing 7 nights custom-built safari in Kruger National Park, Panorama Route tour and Maputo, Mozambique day tour, all organized personally by Shaheen Patel/ Legend Safaris. We must have exchanged over 100 emails, since I am experienced safari traveler and I had lots of requirements regarding itinerary, game drives timing etc.
Every aspect of the trip and each little detailed have been meticulously planned and executed - starting from the pick up at O. R Tambo airport in Johannesburg and the transfer to Kruger NP, the safari itself, the Panorama Route tour, the day tour to Maputo, Mozambique and the transfer back to O. R. Tambo airport (with short tours of Pretoria and Johannesburg).
We covered almost the entire park starting from Crocodile Bridge Gate in the South and reaching Crook's Corner to the North. Legend Safaris provided their excellent open-sided safari vehicle along with a trailer for the baggage for the transfers between the various rest camps.
Edwin was an excellent safari guide (trust me, I have seen many). Great spotter with a wide knowledge about all species of animals and birds, I mean - all. The sightings were too many to list, but just to mention a few - we saw the only white male lion in the park (spent about an hour with him and his two "normal" brothers), other lions every day, including large males and cubs with a kill, 4 different leopard sightings, pack of wild dogs, many raptors and water birds, as well as lots of small birds. All of the Big 5 in the first three days of the safari...
I would recommend the services of Legend Safaris and the guide Edwin without any hesitation to anyone wishing to experience top safari at an affordable price.

Amazing Trip of a Lifetime!
An amazing trip! Hamadi organized a special safari trip for a large (21) group of nature journalers. We travelled to Arusha National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Manyara in 4 very comfortable vehicles. The driver guides were awesome!! Dickson, Felix, Anton and Shaffer—all delightful, knowledgeable, and patient (we weren’t your usual safari group, since we wanted to hang out at a spot for hours). They made sure we got to see the critters at the top of our lists, even birds, and overall ensured we had the best experience. Managing the logistics of a large group like this is challenging at best, and Hamadi and his crew pulled it off seamlessly. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, dinners and breakfast were delicious (beyond my expectations) and the days eventful and memorable. And at the end it felt like we were all old friends. I can’t imagine a better trip. I would be thrilled to go on another adventure with Hamadi and his most marvelous guides.

Treated us like family from start to finish
We started planning a 12 day trip including 5 days of Safari in Tanzania and Zanzibar in April for an August touchdown.
We planned the trip Directly with Mamasavana from the UK. Although the process involved a lot of back and forth via email, whatsapp and facebook, Alex really put us at ease and was always ready with any information we needed.
It was our first Safari and first time to Africa, so there were a lot of newbie queries but every question we asked was answered quickly and clearly.
We were met by a driver at Kilimanjaro airport, and completely taken care of until we left Zanzibar two weeks later. By this I mean that Alex and his team went above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable and safe trough out our entire stay. We really felt like family. Alex was never more that a txt message or phone call away, and when we had a slight booking problem with one of the hotels, he dealt with it so fast I didn't have time to get worried about it.
We had one guide - Amani with us through all the parks in Tanzania. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wildlife, environment and history. Amani was always ready to answer our questions and great company. Also he was a very good timekeeper. Nothing seemed rushed even though we asked for a few changes and extra stops. We wanted to visit a Maasai village and talk to the people. Even though it was not on our Itinerary, Amani made it happen without having to miss anything else. Also the man has eyes like a hawk. I have no idea how he managed to spot some of the camouflaged animals he did while driving a 4x4 over bumpy dirt tracks.
We had a fantastic time in Tanzania all thanks to Mamasavana.

Best and most beautiful trip ever
South Africa Rainbow tour was a trip to remember. Our gide Ruan is a great expert in all areas, good driver and a wonderful cook. Seen fantastic nature and heard many beautiful stories from him. The highlight was the big five, he did everything to spot it.
Moreover, he is careful with nature.So if you are considering a vacation to Africa, think of guide Ruan, who will give you a great holiday.

Asked Rob for about 8-12 landcruisers worth of standard and a few unusual safaris, around Kenya
Far and away the best value operator in the country. There are thousands of choices, many fake reviews and fluffing up tour descriptions out there, and EK's are by far the best. In general, they know the whole country cold and very carefully choose all of their guides and drivers and their cruisers are the top shape. You will save time and cash by just booking with them and forgetting days of google searches and bargaining. Cannot recommend them enough and have been using them for years now for Kenya and are resourceful with all of the common sense but also service sense somewhat lacking with other tour outfits.

Very thorough and knowledgeable!
We went on a private, two-day safari in Tarangire National Park. Our tour guide, Nelson, was very friendly and social. He seemed to know about everything! I was far from disappointed from what I saw in Tarangire, especially the elephants.
Remsi, one of the admin’s, was extremely helpful months prior to booking. He responded with every inquiry promptly and was very nice!

Great experience on the Kilimanjaro
My Friend and I came to tanzania to work in a hospital for one month. We did this clinical traineeship for our medicine studies and wanted to climb the Kilimanjaro first.
We didn't plan anything in Germany before so we needed someone, who could arrange everything. We had no climbing gear like sleeping bags or hiking sticks as well.
Philemon (the chef of aardvark eypeditions) was very professionell and managed to get us all the climbing gears we needed without paying anything extra. Furthermore, He could arrange the tour within 7 days. We booked it in Arusha but the crew picked us up in Moshi and it was no problem because we had Philemons Whatsapp number, so we could Talk to hin anytime.
The Crew (nine porter, one cook and two guides) was super nice and they took very good care of us. The guides were good informed, speaked good enough english and handled every Situation very professionell. The food was very tasty and sometimes even to much.
All in all was the Tour very nice, well planed and the team was great. The price was okay and Philemon was a great organizer.
I can totally recommend aardvark expeditions.
