Amazing Safari Tanzania
I reached out to Basili of Vervet Safari Tours to help me plan a private safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Parks. He made booking hassle-free and we are happy with the itinerary we created together. We had an amazing time during the trip with guide Shabaan, he is so knowledgeable in so many spheres of Tanzania and wildlife in particular. His excellent guiding skills led us to many interesting sights like a cheetah hunting in the serengeti. We are happy with the whole team from Vervet that was involved in planning and executing our trip for a job well done.

I have taken other safari tours in Africa, and this is the best company. Well organized, communicates and responds to WhatsApp quickly, excellent value for tour plan, exceptional accommodations and a private tour. They were also very flexible to change plans while traveling to accommodate our personal interests such as visiting the cultural and people of Uganda. Our tour guide and driver Francis was very polite, good driver, always 24/7 to meet our needs or answer questions, had close relationships with the park rangers, very friendly and became one of our family members! Best experience ever!
We had an amazing Safari with Mdee through Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. We saw so many incredible animals, highlights including a baby rhino, lions eating prey, and lions and elephants only a couple of metres away!! Mdee was so helpful and knowledgable with all the animals, we were able to tailor or trip as we wanted. He was a great guide, would absolutely recommend !

Excellent private Kampala city tour - individually tailored to our needs - very informative and fun
We, a group of seven adults, had a pretty good idea of how our guided Kampala city tour should look like (exact time frame, downtown and Nakasero Market walk, old taxi park and a typical Kampala food lunch place to round off our Kampala experience.
Rwizi Africa Expeditions exactly delivered a private tailormade tour according to our preferences. With Adrine, we had a great guide. She walked us very professionally through downtown Kampala which turned out to be a very informative and fun experience.
The price was absolutely reasonable and worth the tour.

Incredible experience and outstanding service, highly recommended
Wow, I don’t even know where to begin. Everything about Lion King Adventure has been absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning preparing the quote for us, we contacted 2 other agencies but we could immediately tell this was going to be the best. The quote was clear and very detailed. Our trip was beyond amazing. They take care of EVERYTHING down to the smallest details. I’ll try and recap the main highlights
- Pre-departure: they gave us very detailed and clear information about the trip, including all we needed to prep (clothes, vaccination, weather and other tips). I didn’t have to look anything up on my own, they provided it all. And all questions were answered in less than 24 hours (accounting for time zone)
- arrivals: super easy pick up at airport.
- lodges and accommodations: incredible! All places we went to were way beyond our expectations. Incredible service from everyone. I particularly loved the fact that all lodges were locally owned and supporting the local communities. I could also tell that we got some special treatments for being with Lion King, such as preferential check in, and warm packed meals for our lunches (instead of cold lunch packs). We saw everyone packing their own lunch in the morning but we never had to worry about that. Our guide took care of it all and it was all warm food, a whole spread! I would have never found these incredible lodges on my own.
- safari experience: this is a private experience so it was just me and my husband on the whole trip with our own dedicated guide for the whole trip. The cars were really cool and clean, with all you need including chargers and cooler for drinks. We went to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Everything was just a dream. I never thought we woudl be able to see animals so up close! And we always felt perfectly safe with our guide.
- guide: I cannot recommend Shafino enough. He was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond! He effortlessly drove around hard terrain while also spotting wildlife. He was incredibly knowledgeable, with so many facts about each animal, there was no question he couldn’t answer. We had really long days and he never delivers anything less than top level service. Thanks to his incredible amount of effort and expertise, we were able to spot ALL big 5 (including 4 rhinos!!) and other rare animals such as Serval cats and Caracals. We also witnessed lions with a fresh kill and others mating. He drove for hours to make sure we would see each animal on our list. He also had great tips about how to take photos (very useful for newbie photographers like us) and would move the car around to help us get the best shot. I would definitely recommend Shafino as your guide!
Overall, I know there are a lot of agencies to choose from but I’m so happy with Lion King and would (and will!) book with them again. The level of service, professionalism, safety, cleanliness (Shafino cleaned our car every night!), attention to detail cannot be beat. A safari is for lost a once in a lifetime experience, so it’s important to book with the best, and both Lion King and Shafino were hands down the best in the business!
