Trip of a lifetime
5/5

Our Northern Circuit Tanzania safari was planned, to perfection, by Casey of Access2Tanzania. The company specializes in custom, private tours. We had a single guide throughout the 9 days of our safari; from airport to Tarangire to Ngorongoro to Northern Serengeti. The safari was planned to perfection. Every detail was double and triple checked. Our guide, Danny, ensured that our time in Tanzania was as perfect as humanly possible. Five stars doesn't seem enough!

This was our favorite park. Scenery is stunning. Wildlife incredible. This was our favorite game drive. We went with the sun rise, and lighting was incredible for photographs of the great herds of wildlife that occur here.

Only place we saw zebras. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that this park is missing 2 apex predators because of neighboring cattle ranches. I don't know what the solution is. The guide here was excellent.

The old growth jungle habitat is wonderful, and besides chimps, there are a lot of other monkey and bird species to see. Guides were very good.

The Namib-Naukluft National Park is one of the most impressive places I've visited in a life full of travel. The wildlife, the stunning desert scapes and dunes, the Sesriem area, Sossussvlei and The Dead Vlei, Kolmanskuppe with its houses being reclaimed by the desert, the coastline with its profusion of birdlife. Klein Aus Vista and all the accommodation we stayed at was comfortable and even more than that, incredibly beautiful. I didn't expect its wild beauty. My guide brought us expertly to what we had come to experience.

About: Zimbabwe
Wonderful experience, rough around the edges

4/5

My wife and I are Americans in our late 20s who spent a week in July 2019 in Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park.

Overall, we had a wonderful time. Everything was very safe, the people are quite friendly and helpful, and the wildlife and falls were spectacular. Travel here takes a bit of planning, however, as cash and fuel are in short supply and power cuts are somewhat frequent (twice during our stay). In this part of the country I wouldn't worry about safety, I would just make sure to make as many arrangements ahead of time as possible.
