Medi and Eddie were were kind, considerate and attentive
We did an amazing concentrated trip (Friday to Sunday) from Kampala to Murchison Falls and back. Medi and Eddie picked us up with the van (wifi provided throughout the trip) from our hotel on friday. On the way to Murchison falls, we stopped by the Rhino sanctuary and did tracking on foot. Saw these amazing animals, a whole family, up close. Had a nice lunch and proceeded toward a safari lodge near Mirchison falls, where we spent two nights. The first day was an adventurous safari where we saw many animals - buffalo, giraffes, elephants, baboons, many birds, and lions, including the beginnings of a hunt. We also took a boat ride down the nile to the falls, where we saw many many families of hippos as well as Nile crocodiles and other animals. The water falls which we got to see from below (on the Nile) and above (hiking up) were incredible. Medi and Eddie were kind, informative, attentive, flexible and funny. The meals were fresh and delicious. Safari lodge was beautiful, the van comfortable (with free wifi), we could stop as we wanted, for pictures, for seeing the animals, etc. This was a short trip, but given that we were in Uganda for work, we were really happy that Medi and Eddie could tailor the trip to our timing, budget and interests.
All in all great value for money.

Amazing and thought through
I was with one friend and our experience ze was amazing. We did a private safari via Nairobi-Amboseli-tsavo east to the coast for 2 nights.
Got to see many animals and stayed at well taken care of places.
Felt very safe with the accommodations and stops along the way we’re well thought through.
Very nice driver. Everything went smoothly.

The perfect guides for South West Uganda
We had a really fabulous trip organised by Edison and accompanied by our driver and guide Godfrey. Edison was excellent in the lead up to the trip, very responsive and he helped us tailor the perfect trip for our time. They amended the pick up time to a different place, added a volcano hike as an extra day and also an additional days safari - also we got all of our preferred accomodations, and they were some of the nicest places we've ever stayed. It all helped the trip feel nicely tailored.
Then on the trip itself, Godrey was an excellent guide - we felt very comfortable with him, he was always happy to answer our questions and discuss things with us. It meant that we could really relax and enjoy our holiday.
In terms of the location and activities - all I'll say is, you have to go there to believe it! Its truly one of the most beautiful parts of the world, we've ever visited in many respects.

Overall we are happy enough to recommend Makario Safari
Mwaka from Makario Safari was in charge of our booking. She is responsive and helpful. The experience will have been a solid 5 rating hadn’t we felt pressured by time and the way the driver drove us back from the tour. It was traffic plus he sent us to collect our luggages from the airport (as they were delayed by 60 hours since we last saw our baggage), it was taking longer than expected and I can understand that he was bit agitated by the situation. To be fair, we also would like everything smooth and not wasting our time had it was a choice that we could make.

Greatly organized and responsive
I wanted to discover the Amboseli wildlife preservation park in Kenya, asked for it to different « Safari operators ». The best accommodations were proposed by Morning Star. During the trip, I also discovered the professionalism of the team, the expertise of the guide and had an amazing experience. You want to try something else than the classical driving game ? Just ask Morning Star, they know the country !

Amazing safari and well organised tour
Very well organised, arranging what I wanted was a smooth process, and I was able to relax throughout the safari knowing everything was taken care of. Incredible wildlife experience!
Our Wildlife Oasis Tours experience we booked with Humphrey was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, every moment was filled with wonder and excitement.
