All family satisfied and happy
5/5

We booked a budget safari with Axis for our 5 persons family. We were guided and driven by Denis in an old Toyota (didn't buy an upgrade to jeep). The mastery with which Denis drove the car was really appreciable. Especially one tough part during game driving was not easy for 4wheels and they were sliding on the mud, our guide watched other cars, went outside to calculate something and drove through without even losing control like other cars. Impressive! We felt safe while driving on roads too. If you've never been to Kenya then you don't know what sort of horror is on its roads...
Denis was not too talkative but always very informative (and when I compered i formation from him to other guides' info, I could see it was reliable). We made a nice team together- he always listened to us when we wanted eg. stop for buying fruits.
And, the most important: we saw the big 5 and lots of other animals! It's amazing! Only the rhinoceros was not visible in Masai Mara, but our trip included lake Nakuru and there was a family of them that we observed rhinos as well as flamingos but these were not millions (maybe the wrong season?).
Overall great safari and finished with a trip to Masai village, which (after spending some time by the fire camp (Sidai Mara camping) with some of Masai) was a very nice surprise (not initially included in the trip).
Everyone from us was happy (even the teenager!!?)

Best safari we've taken. Most knowledgeable guide and fully customized tours.
5/5

My husband and my favorite vacation ever has been our safari with Capture Kenya. From the animals to the accommodations, everything about the trip was incredible!

Through traveling we’ve gotten to have a lot of really cool wild animal interactions, but nothing compares to our experiences on this 11 day Kenyan safari. We were less than 15 feet away from lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, hippos, ostriches, and dozens of other animals! There were wild elephants that walked right through our camp! It was incredible getting to see these amazing animals in their natural habitats. One of my favorite scenes was getting to see a baby cape buffalo learning to walk hours after being born! We told Capture Kenya the animals we most wanted to see and they planned a dream vacation around our preferences!

From start to finish, Capture Kenya made sure we had the best experience possible! They are a local Kenyan company who cares a lot about conservation and local Kenyan communities. What made our trip truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience was our guide (and the owner of Capture Kenya), Henry Gathura! Henry was the best tour guide we have ever had! He has more than 20 years of safari experience and knew exactly where to go for the best wildlife experience. My husband and I have since done other safaris and this was by far our favorite! In less than 2 weeks time, we were amazed at how much we learned and experienced! Henry seemed more like a lifelong friend than a guide.

Another highlight of ours were the accommodations. Capture Kenya does an amazing job of creating the perfect custom trip to match your preferences. The lodges we stayed at took “glamping” to a whole new level! Every place was so beautiful and right in the middle of the national reserves! Although we were living in luxury, we were surrounded by incredible wildlife! In addition to having elephants walk through our camp, at night we heard hippos, baboons, and even lions! From rhinos to zebras, we saw dozens of different animals right from our room! The food and staff of the lodges were also remarkable. It was definitely our favorite vacation ever!

Favorite Vacation Ever!
5/5

We booked an 11 day safari with Capture Kenya Expeditions and it was our favorite vacation! My wife and I enjoy traveling, but this trip stands out from among the rest. Capture Kenya thought of every detail and went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best trip possible. Capture Kenya is a locally owned and operated company who cares about conservation and sustainability and loves sharing about their beautiful country.

Within the 11 days, Henry (our guide and the owner of Capture Kenya) made us feel like we had gained a lifelong friend. We’ve had a lot of amazing guides through our travels, but Henry was by far our favorite. He went out of his way to think of every detail. From food, transportation, lodging, and animal interactions, Capture Kenya takes care of it all. At the end of our safari, he even had custom bracelets made with the American, Kenyan, and Mexican flag because those are the countries we are from, currently visiting, and currently live in! It meant so much that he would do something so personal for us.

The animals on our safari were incredible! We got to see elephants, rhinos, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and dozens of other animals up close! Henry was an encyclopedia of animal knowledge. He has more than 20 years of safari experience and knew exactly where to go to see the most wildlife. Within 11 days, we saw more animals than I could have ever imagined! Our first game drive, we wanted to stop for every warthog and zebra that we saw. (Henry had so much patience and would stop every single time :) By the last day, we were driving past groups of elephants and giraffes without stopping because we had been blessed to see so many throughout our entire trip!

One of our favorite parts of the safari were the places that we stayed. The "tents" were more luxurious than many hotels, and the meals were the best we ate during our trip through Africa! While planning for our trip, we told Capture Kenya that we wanted to safely stay as close to the wildlife as possible and they definitely made that happen! At night we heard elephants, lions, hippos, hyenas, and baboons. From our rooms we saw elephants, rhinos, zebras, gazelles, antelope, warthogs, cape buffalo, baboons, and monkeys! We had elephants walk through our camp and monkeys running around the roof of our tent! I was amazed at how Capture Kenya Expeditions customized the entire trip to what we were hoping to experience - and it turned out even better than we could have ever imagined!

From picking us up from the airport in Nairobi to arranging our onward transportation to Tanzania at the end of our Kenya safari, Henry and Capture Kenya Expeditions thought of every detail. We can't say enough how much we loved our time and think that everyone should book a Kenyan safari with Capture Kenya Expeditions!

Best photo experts and safari guides!
5/5

We had an unbelievable day in Kruger National Park with Private Kruger Safaris. In one day we saw hundreds of elephants and giraffes! Other highlights were seeing hyenas and cubs walking around our safari vehicle. We saw the endangered African wild dogs feeding their pups! From a distance we saw a leopard with its kill lounging in a tree. But the biggest highlight of the day was watching lions hunting kudus and impalas. It looked like something straight out of National Geographic watching the lions stalk and run after their prey! Private Kruger Safaris did an incredible job of making sure we were in the right place at the right time!

If you are a professional or serious photo hobbyist, the owners of Private Kruger Safaris have another company B1 Photo Safaris that is focused on wildlife photography. We were so thankful for our incredible game drive and photos in Kruger National Park!

10 stars if I could! Antony is the absolute best guide you will find who treats you like a friend
5/5

My experience interacting and traveling with Antony has been nothing but fantastic. I've already recommended Tazama to my best friend who might travel to Kenya next year and you deserve Tazama for your safari too.

Perhaps the best example of Antony's dedication to the client experience is our last day. The itinerary we agreed to had us leaving Maasai Mara early in the morning for the airport, which should get us to Nairobi at around noon. However, our departure flights were at midnight, so we would have had a lot of time twiddling our thumbs if not for Antony.

On the last day, Antony took us on an extra game drive in the park, so that we could enjoy the animals one more time and depart later. We also asked for local foods on the way to Nairobi so Antony took us out for both lunch and dinner at tasty local places. After dinner, we still had some time to kill before the flight, so Antony offered to drive us around Nairobi since we haven't seen the city yet. If these weren't enough proof, after we were dropped off, Antony saw us messaging each other in our group chat about the check-in counters being closed, so he reached out to his friend at the airport to ensure we had a smooth check-in and boarding process.

Keep in mind that he really could have just dropped us off at noon and went back to see his family that he hasn't seen for a whole week because of us, but Antony chose to do all this extra work so that we have the best experience possible. His drive for client satisfaction has been consistent ever since I interacted with him.

Pre-arrival:
A friend recommended me this website when looking for a guide. Antony gave me a fair and honest quote and was always prompt at replying to any inquiries my group had. There were nights that Antony replied to my message instantaneously even when it was late in local time. At the time I thought he's just a night owl like me. However, it turned out he just always put his clients' needs first and do whatever is necessary to help the clients out, even if that means staying up when he had to get up super early in the morning.

Safari:
We spotted all the animals and activities we came here for, including wildebeest crossing and lionesses hunting. Of course the big five, and many many more. There was definitely some luck involved, but it's also thanks to Antony's expertise and dedication. He's excellent at navigating and driving through tough terrains (other cars got stuck at places we successfully went through). He's also well connected with other guides and rangers to know where to go. He understands animal behaviors so that he correctly anticipates where to stop the car for best photos and whether something exciting is about to happen (like the crossing and hunting we saw). Of course, he also always does whatever is in the clients' best interests. For example, he knew a leopard was somewhere, so he got up extra early to get us there before other guides and groups arrived.

Among all the guides I've met, Antony stands out as the absolute best. He treated us as to how he would host his friends and went way beyond my expectation. I'm not the "no worries" type, particularly when it comes to travel planning, but I know when Antony tells me hakuna matata, he will ensure everything goes perfectly. I feel extremely lucky to meet Antony and I can't wait to come back and travel with Tazama again.

Of course, there are other guides at Tazama. Since Tazama is Antony's baby, I have no doubt that he will only hire good people that can provide the same level of experience we had. You can't go wrong with Tazama.

Reliable company .
5/5

Being passionate about photography and African wildlife, this year I decided to visit Kenya.
After an attentive internet search, I decided on an 8-day tour. I liked the itinerary presented by Amazing Memories safaris.
After a first contact with this company, I was positively impressed by Anne's helpful, enlightening and professional attitude.
I changed the program to nine days. I told her that my main purpose for this trip was photography and asked for a knowledgeable but above all patient guide.
David was exactly that. A kind and competent guide/driver, always ready to satisfy the customer.
I had the opportunity to take thousands of photos which included the migration by the Mara River, something not to forget.
The itinerary and chosen accommodation fulfilled my expectations.
Were really amazing memories

Perfect experience!
5/5

The tour was perfectly organized. Joseph has been helpful during the whole tour. Always replying inmediatly and organizing everyrhing on a perfect way. Hotel, food and safary was amazing. Our driver James was also kind and a great driver always looking for our well-being. The only point we did not like was to make a stop in the typical overcharged souvenir shop on our way back to the airport.

We had an absolutely perfect and unforgettable 12-days Safari with Francis. All our dreams came true… Our guide Francis was really amazing, we will never forget this wonderful experience in our life and are looking forward coming back on Safari with Heritage of African Jungles next year… Maybe then we will enjoy Meru NP and perhaps Lake Turkana area.
The organization by Naomy was simply unbeatable, all our needs were met perfectly

Great service from guide Ombeni- the star of the Serengeti!
5/5

We made our own journey - 5 days from Kogatende for the Great Migration, through North, Central, and South Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Our guide Ombeni was incredibly courteous, knowledgeable, and safe. If the mark of a good guide is not how he is treated by his passengers, but rather by his colleagues, then Ombeni was second to none. We would hear him be called on the radio by many guides from different companies asking for advice or directions. Every single car that passed, the driver got a ‘hey how’s it going’. The same for park rangers, film crews… Ombeni knew them all. It felt like we were with our own Serengeti celebrity. And really drove home the things that we learned Tanzanians pride themselves on: humility, kindness, and hospitality. He was always early. He was always smiling. He was always professional. He knows every road, every locale, every lodge - there were no maps, no gps, and we never had to turn around once. He has impeccable intuition and knowledge of the wildlife which meant we benefitted by being able to see leopards and a cheetah! Truly an unforgettable trip.
