Nairobi Park 1/2 day tour----The Gilligan's Island 3 hour tour.
It was advertised as a 4-5 hour tour, it was less than 3 hours in the park.
Our expectations were not high so the bar was set low and they couldn't even meet that.
After everyone was picked up at 1:30 we were told "all the animals are asleep now and the best time to start is 3 pm." So to kill time we drive to a small souvenir shop/snack place for about an hour.
First question is if there nothing to see until 3 then why not pick us up at 2:30 instead of 1:30? Obvious answer---to take us to some place to spend money where I suspect the driver and/or company is getting a kickback. THIS ANNOYED ALL THE PASSENGERS (we talked about it) since it was very obvious what was going on.
So we get to the park entrance at 3 and by the time everyone has paid the entrance fee we head in around 3:20. Funny thing is there were numerous vehicles in the park already and we pass a few LEAVING. Didn't they know the animals were all asleep when they arrived a few hours ago? lol.
Long story short what we saw was: Virtually nothing, certainly nothing of interest until 30/40 min. in when we saw a pride of lions sleeping (they should be awake, don't they know what time it is?). There were long stretches of nothing but in the end did see both black (2) and white (2) rhinos, lots of zebras and 3 giraffes only because we happen to see them far off and luckily they were headed in our direction so we stopped and waited. We pass that area 30 min. earlier or later and we don't see them. We also saw lots of Impala, one Ostrich, a couple of hartebeest and 3 hyenas.
They tell you up front in their ads there are no elephants so we knew that.
All we saw of the "big 5" was Lions and Rhinos so no leopards or buffalo either. Also no cheetahs, wildebeast, Hippos, baboons or crocodiles or well....anything else. Of course there's luck involved and no one should expect to see everything but this was pathetic. We headed out of the park before 6 pm so the tour was less then 3 hours long.
The whole thing was more like a Gilligan's Island 3 hour tour gone wrong then an interesting African safari of any kind.

Incredible Tour!!
We had such an incredible experience with Sopai Safaris! Raja was an awesome guide, he went above and beyond to make this trip a trip of a lifetime. From the start I contacted Raja with a lot of requests to adjust and create a tour to specifically what we wanted with a particular budget in mind. We emailed back and forth and he gave me many options, and was very accommodating to help us create our ideal itinerary. I really wanted to experience some tented safari camps in the mix of accommodation but worried about our budget, and he was able to make that work - all of the accommodation options exceeded our expectations! They were always quick in responding and on time whenever we wanted to leave in the mornings, and always professional. Being a smaller company too I loved how they made an effort to stand out amongst the competition - they provided hot lunches (which were actually really good and we were so grateful) everyday instead of the same box lunches most everyone’s else had. We also had Vincent with us as our driver and co guide and he was excellent as well! They were able to spot 4 leopards for us - how they’re able to spot some of them I have no idea - but we were also lucky enough to witness a pride of lions hunt and kill a warthog! They both had a wealth of knowledge about all the animals we came across, and found us an authentic Maasai boma to visit that was not touristy in the slightest. They helped translate some of the stories and information from our local Maasai guide, which was an experience I’d recommend to anyone. We were so happy to have Raja and Vincent as our guides and would highly recommend them and this company to anyone out there!!!

Perfect
This is our third trip to Africa. Just finish our 13days trip in Uganda with our guide Charles fr Lulu safaris . We had a wonderful time with him, he made the trip even more fun n memorable. His knowledge make us understand Uganda more. We enjoyed all the activities, gorilla trekking, game drive and last day at ctc conservation. The lodges we stay so far has been ok but some are below our expectations, cleanliness is a concern.

Very happy with the service! Our guide Noel was very professional and polite and always on time! He was very knowledgeable about the animals and answered all our questions without a fail! He was also very skilled in tracking the animals and we managed to see all of the big five in just 3 days Safari. I could not recommend migration venture and Noel enough. A once in a lifetime experience and service!

Unforgettable experience!
Thank you Lion King for creating us this once-in-a-lifetime experience! The itinerary is well-planned that we spent a great time in different national parks and able to see the Big 9 and the other animals mostly with a close-up view!
Our wonderful guide Shafino made everything possible! When I told him that I’d like to watch sunrise in Serengeti, he adjusted the plan promptly and drove us to a perfect spot for the stunning view. Shafino is professional, knowledgeable and reliable. Our car broke down when we were in Serengeti but he managed to fix it quickly and we got to see many animals!
I have to thank our amazing chef Karim too, for feeding us delicious traditional and international food, making sure that we are energised even in the early morning. Also, thank you for being so patient with our broken Swahili:)
This is a dreamlike experience and I really enjoyed the safari! Asante sana marafiki!!

Before travel:
Great communication and suggestions for itineraries. Despite multiple changes, Seven By Far would revert swiftly and adapt flexibility in our planned itinerary. Very competent and trustworthy staff. Pre payment went smooth and we were kept updated all along prior our travel.
During trip:
Professional airport pickup service, and our driver was available on our arrival. Jeep was in good condition and driver/guide very skilled and professional. Our guide provided great experiences and had good knowledge of all the areas we visited - good to find the animals and get up close. During the trip, our guide was flexible and adjusted to our requests.

A most amazing experience
I took a safari with Hadzabe that was 5 days and four nights. It was a most beautiful experience. I saw so many animals and the guide/driver was fantastic. His name was Joshua and he made the experience extra special. The food was good. The accommodations were also very good. I slept in a tent all four nights. For me, the tent living just added another level of authenticity. Other people in the group chose to stay in a lodge for 2 nights and they loved that too. You have choices with this company. I enjoyed this trip immensely. I recommend this company and the safari with the highest confidence. By the way, I am a single, mature female traveler and felt safe and welcomed the whole time.
