The second half of our experience with Cubs Expeditions (after a week climbing Kilimanjaro) was a 5-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.
After a week of camping, we opted for the midrange to stay in lodges. The lodges in the Serengeti (Heritage Tented Lodge) and Ngorongoro (Rhino Lodge) were such cool experiences being right in the nature and even seeing animals by our rooms. The amenities are somewhat basic, but nice beds and sheets and a shower! Plus good food. Following in line with our experience climbing Kili, the food even for lunch each day was delicious. Others has boxed lunches, we had real meals!
Now, onto the good stuff. We saw EVERYTHING you could want to see. Even after losing some time due to an accident that blocked the road to Serengeti and some other car mishaps, I didn’t feel at all that we missed out. The days can be long and the roads can be tiring, but our guide/driver Amani was so experienced, he dealt with every issue and found us every animal you can imagine! He got us insanely close to some amazing wildlife - tons of lions, lion cubs, cheetahs and cheetah cubs, elephants, Buffalo, hyenas, ostriches, hippos, giraffes, zebras, baboons, Wildebeest, and on and on. We even saw a leopard. And a few rhinos (from afar) in Ngorongoro! I am not sure there was any type of animal that we didn’t see. We also appreciated that he also took some opportunities to get away from all the other safari vehicles and explore on our own. Sometimes it’s worth getting into the big line of cars to see something interesting, but it’s definitely nice to just soak in the beauty and maybe even see some animals without a bunch of cars around!
For two weeks of our honeymoon we were completely in the hands of Cubs Expeditions and we couldn’t be happier. Humphrey was extremely responsive and it was such a relief to have someone there for us the whole time.

MoAfrika Tours took me on a 3 day safari to Kruger and Tremesane. It was a wonderful time. I was travelling solo which wasn't a problem. My incoming flight was delayed so I knew I was going to miss my collection at the airport. I got in touch with the BRILLIANT Lavender at MoAfrika who was able to switch the days of my trip so that everything worked out. She even found an alternative trip I could do on the day I arrived (late).
Kruger is wonderful and the trip was well worth the time and money. Tremesane Lodge was very comfortable and the staff there were super friendly. The animals we saw were incredible: lions, elephant, rhino, a leopard, zebra, giraffe...

Lifetime Experience Safaris is superb! Jesse is very responsive via e-mail and Whatsapp, very patience with all the millions questions we made and always came up with great suggestions for our itinerary.

We booked an 11-day customised safari around Uganda and Sula was our driver!
There are no words to describe how important Sula was to turn this experience into something unforgettable. He is incredibly professional, an excellent driver that makes all those long drives and (sometimes) in rough roads feel super smooth. He is also genuinely a really good guy, very funny to hang out with and knows everyone and everyone knows Sula! In every park we visited he always got a park ranger to join us and that made such a big difference to our experience: we could spot all the animals and learn everything about them!
We visited Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, Kibale Park, Bwindi Park and Lake Mburo. We enjoyed all of them and each contributed with something special to our trip!
In planning any safari it is difficult to know who to trust. Lifetime Experience Safaris delivers. They will do their best to live up to their name. I can't recommend them highly enough!

It was one of the best experiences of our lives. We loved each and every moment of it. We especially want to give a huge thanks to Modi. He was an amazing guide, he truly loves the animals and provides in depth explanations and information about the animals. Modi is a wonderful guy, really nice and understanding, interested in what we have to say, shows a lot of compassion and love. I must say we were really lucky to have him as a guide and wish everyone can get to know what a wonderful guide he is.

Steve spent a lot of time planning our itinerary and booking internal flights. Well planned and communicated from the start. Accommodation arranged as per our requirements and was exceptional. Our Guide Samuel was knowledgeable and always catered for our needs. Definitely would recommend for a private safari and luxury camp hopping.

Dream Safari
We had an amazing 4 days Safari with Migration Venture. Amos answered all of our questions prior the trip and they collected us from the airport even when our plane had 4hrs delay. Everything went smooth, we requested the Octagon Lodge as our accommodation and couldn't have been happier. The place is beautiful with great food and friendly staff. For our 1 night in Serengeti we stayed at Osomupoko camp which was also really comfortable with great food and super kind people. It was a proper outdoor adventure, but I have to admit I was very very scared at night as the animals walk freely around the camp. My husband loved the experience though. Our biggest thank you goes to the most epic guide and driver Christian who made our honeymoon safari unforgettable. We enjoyed his company and funny personality and it wouldn't be as good without him. He was extremely knowledgable, dedicated and observative. Thanks to him we haven't just seen "the big 5" but we seen all the animals you can possibly see on a safari! Even leopard, cheetah hunting and rhino! Christian had eagle like eyes and spotted things most wouldn't. He is the best guide you can possibly have and he is also very considerate and kind and he always made sure we were comfortable and tend to our needs. We loved every minute of our trip and cannot recommend Christian as a safari guide enough!

Zohar was absolutely incredible. Our guides, Solomon, Daniel, and Goodluck were the best. Honestly felt like best friends by the end of the trip. They knew the Serengeti better than anyone and understood the animals behaviors so well that we were always in the best positions for viewing. 100/10. Trip. I highly highly recommend.
