Great safari for the price, but budget level is quite basic.
First off, communication with Charles was excellent. He was responsive to all of my questions and helped with other travel arrangements.
We did a 7 day budget group tour to Massai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha, Hells Gate, and Amboseli. We usually had 6 people in our van and occasionally 7.
The wildlife viewing was simply incredible. The guides are constantly communicating to each other what they're finding. The parks are gorgeous, and it was interesting seeing the differences between each of them. Our guide was great about stopping for as long as we wanted at each viewing.
So much of your experience depends on the guide you get, which I don't think you'll know till the morning of your trip. Ours was great at finding the animals and answering our questions, but he didn't really offer information without us asking.
Things to be aware of:
This tour included a substantial amount of driving, and you're also in the van during all of the game drives except for Hell’s Gate.
This was a budget tour, and accommodations reflect that. We had broken mesh and zippers at one of our tents. Hot water was not consistently available. There was some construction until pretty late at night. Food was very functional. Not a lot of variety, but it'll keep you fueled.
Each of our accommodations had wifi sometimes, which was great for checking in with family.
Ask about how much drinking water you're allowed.
Game drives typically start very early to get the best opportunities to see what you're there to see....wildlife!
Overall, it was a very positive experience, but I wish Charles had explained a bit more what "budget" really meant.

Absolute amazing!
Had an absolute amazing experience with Cubs, would definitely recommend booking with them. Humphrey is really great, answer all your questions within minutes and want to make sure you have the best time. He even met up with me at my hotel both before the safari tour, to ensure I had everything I needed and had a driver taking me to the closest ATM and shop. And after to ask me about my trip and if i enjoyed everything.
The safari itself was mind blowing, we saw all big 5 and our guide went the extra mile making sure we saw all of them. Our chef made delicious food and we all had a great time.
I would recommend everyone to book with Cubs!

Amazing kowledge about the animals and very likeable guide and chef
We felt in safe and knowledgeable hands from the very start. Communication in the planning process was fast and precise and options well explained.
The trip in itself was executed to perfection. A balanced ammount of driving and stopping to watch - an incredible sense of when to stay and observe the animals for a longer time, and when to move on to get a better experience in another place. We felt like we had the best driver and guide among all.
Our chef was so kind and loveable, and he made great and delicious food for every single meal. It was ready on time, eventhough it could be very early in the morning. Everythong was fresh and cooked with amazing skills.
We slept in tents in a campsite, which was a great experience. Herad the lions roaring and hyenas howling at night. You don´t want to miss that.

Listened to what we wanted, planned a great trip and delivered exactly as expected
We had a spare day in Nairobi and contacted several tour organisers with our ideas of what we wanted to do. Morningstar Tours stood out because they responded promptly and proposed an excellent itinerary that demonstrated they had listed too what we wanted. It was a full day trip (7am to 7pm) and was well organised and delivered by a good driver and guide. We were very happy and would recommend this company. The consultant (Jospeh) was very good and marinated good contact with us until the day before the trip. It is difficult booking trips with operators overseas when you don't really know the pedigree of the company, but I can say that Morningstar delivered exactly what we wanted.

An amazing week of rich wildlife and beautiful nature!
In July me and my boyfriend went to Tanzania and decided to go with Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club.
From our initial conversations, planning the trip, to the very end of our journey they company was very accommodating. They replied fast whenever we had questions, helped make custom changes like adding a one day hike to Kilimanjaro, and provided us with a wonderful guide - Moses, that went out of his way to make this trip a memory for life.
Moses was always on time and very knowledgeable about the parks, the wildlife and the culture. He answered our every question and always made sure we kept our schedule. I never imagined we’d be able to see all of the animals we did and I think it’s thanks to his experience and general know-how.
This trip was beyond anything I would have ever imagined and I am so impressed with how much we were able to experience and see in one weeks time.
I’d recommend Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club to anyone who plans to go to Tanzania to see wildlife and experience nature!

You lied to us from airport pick up with a land cruiser n sent us a smaller car n squeezed us in with kids. Booked wrong rooms from ones promised during advance booking.worst experience by far

Excellent all around, everything was perfect!
Food was excellent, guides were always giving good advice and helping along, accommodation was very good and all who followed guides' words reached the top. Very good team and a great experience!
