A fantastic adventure
We (two guys) booked a five-day safari with some customization to accommodate our other travel plans. The communication with our agent Vanessa was excellent and completely hassle-free - highly appreciated. We were picked up in Nairobi by our excellent guide John and went to Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. John was very knowledgeable about the animals and we saw everything we could have hoped for and more. Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru were particularly impressive (I think it is wise to spend more time in Maasai Mara out of these two). John was also very friendly and attentive to our wishes, and he matched our "energy" well - we are on the more quiet side and I imagine that different groups can vary a lot in this respect.
We also did a couple of non-game-drive activities, such as visiting a Maasai village: I personally found these less interesting than the game drives and I would likely have opted out of them if given the choice again in favor of more game drive time or rest. Prospective bookers should also note that the transport time between parks (regular roads) can be quite long and should either be prepared for this or err on the side of visiting fewer parks. We booked "mid-range" accommodations and they met all our expectations (in fact they were in part more high-end than expected); however, I consider this to be less important since one would not be spending that much time there but rather be out looking at wild animals.
In summary, we had an excellent trip and Spirit of Kenya lived up to its reputation for providing quality experiences and taking care of all practical issues so one can enjoy the safari without any hassle. I can definitely recommend them for your safari experience!

simply the best from the first contact until we were dropped off at the airport to return home
We contacted several dutch/flemisch organisations to arrange for a private safari (family of 5). Allthough they all offered very good programs, the prices were way beyond budget. After some research I tried several local organisations and as from the beginning, Stephen at Bestday safaris responded quickly, gave us from financial point of view a very good offer and was very patient even though I changed our trip several times. After checking the reviews on tripadvisor ( a perfect 5 with 600 reviews) I was convinced, Bestday safari it is....Expectations were high and whenever I asked questions to Stephen (about the program itself, the vaccinations, even which clothing to wear...he responded quickly. The best test came when we wanted to book our flight to zanzibar (we arranged it ourselves, Bestday was not involved). After several attempts, we realised that we were unable to confirm our flight with Tanzanian airline. Credit card kept being refused. But hey, no worries...Stephen to the rescue. He went to airtanzania in person to sort it out and eventually proposed to pay our tickets so that we could wire the money to them afterwards. Now we were really convinced, nothing could go wrong...When we arrived at the airport, our driver was there, Stephen dropped by at the hotel to talk about our safari. Next day our driver/guide (who became a friend) Joseph was there. Punctual, safe driver and a very good guide who nows each little road to take in the national parks and always helpful. We spotted lots of animals and have lots of fun. Long story short: If you look for an organisation to take you on safari, Bestday Safari is the one you need. Unprofessional
AVOID SAFARI UPDATES IF YOU CAN BY ALL MEANS!!
Safari Updates from the airport picked us in a small car with babies when we paid for a landcruiser to and fro pinning it on non existent chaos. Stalled us at a bar with kids while we waited for a second car on the way to transfer into. At the hotel they had us in a cabin with three beds instead of the promised and paid for new builds in the hotel we were staying. Once we checked in, our contact person went MIA, didnt pick any calls after that. We asked for the difference in refunds and they said nothing.
All these just made the trip not worth it at all!

I don’t know where to start but i loved every single moment..
The national parks are absolutely astonishingly beautifully with an abundance of wildlife..we camped on the ridge of Ngorongoro crater this was such unreal experience
The serengeti national park is a home of remakable concentration of the big five while in lake manyara we saw flaming pink flamingos and tree climbing lions..
zanzibar was like paradise covered with beaches to relax and recover on!!..
Tanzania is a stuff of dreams!!!

Unforgettable safari
From the first email with Jane, Brilliant Adventures and Safaris could not have been more helpful. Jane was very responsive and helped us to plan a holiday exactly to our needs, being incredibly flexible to our changing flight times and ensuring that we would get the most out of our time on safari. Jane was also able to help with booking flights, accommodation, transfers and tours on Zanzibar which was an added bonus. Our safari itself was amazing, our guide Bony was very exprienced and knowledgable as well as being great company, he was very flexible and adapted to our preferences as well as making many recommendations to ensure we had the best time and saw as many animals as possible. The safari vehicle was fabulous with a roof which could be removed for better viewing and a fridge with cold drinks and snacks. The accommodation was all very comfortable and the food was delicious, including our lunches each day on safari. We had a truly unforgettable time and would love to return one day. I cannot thank Jane and Bony enough for everything they did for us and would highly recommend Brilliant Adventures and Safaris to anyone considering a holiday in Tanzania

Very friendly and professional company
We used Brilliant for our family safari trip and they were excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for Jane and the team. Our guide Bony was friendly, knowledgeable, and did everything possible to make our trip the most memorable and fantastic trip ever! Each day was an adventure and the safari lunches provided were top class also!

Best Safaris & Best guide
This was our first safaris and we loved every moment of it! In only 3 days, we were so lucky and see all the big 5, including also rhino, leopard and cheetah too!
We were also lucky to see the ngorongoro crater in a not cloudy weather!
So so exiting and very recommended!
Bahati Safaris offered us the best guide that spotted for us all the animals and the best hospitality in Arusha!
