Everything you could want from a tour company-very helpful, professional and well organised!
My 5 day tour was excellent! The office team were very responsive and helpful with planning and arranging everything. My guide Eddie was very professional and helpful. He was also a very safe and sensible driver and a very clean, modern and safe vehicle.
The tour was a very good variety of activities and different landscapes. I had a great time every day and didn't have to worry about anything!

Trip of a Lifetime
We took this trip of a lifetime as a family of four with teenagers. We spent two nights in Nairobi, 3 nights in Amboseli, 1 night in Lake Naivasha, and 4 nights in Masai Mara. Sylvester was always helpful and responsive through the entire process of planning, reserving, refining, and following through on the plan. He helped me to make decisions on logistics that made sense and fit into our budget. He met us at the hotel in Nairobi to discuss the detailed logistics in person and answered any remaining questions that members of my family had. All of my own questions were previously answered through the many emails of mine that Sylvester responded to (very promptly) during the planning process. Sylvester kept in touch with our guide throughout the trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. Finally, at the end of our trip, we had dinner at an upscale restaurant in Nairobi and he met us there to hear about our experiences and thank us for our business. One of the activities that impressed me the most that was included in the cost of our safari was the balloon ride. The balloon ride was simply magical from start to finish. Floating over the Masai Mara during sunrise and seeing the landscape and animals from above was an experience that was breathtaking. To top it off, we had a delicious breakfast when we landed and a game drive that was provided on our way back to our camp. Typically, a balloon excursion is its own add-on cost above and beyond the safari cost. Had that been the case, it would have been out of our price range, but Seven By Far included the excursion in the package price of the safari. Wow, just wow!
We were met at the airport by Maxwell and a driver. They were polite and helpful in getting us to our hotel in Nairobi. They met us the next morning for our tour in the Nairobi area. We visited the Giraffe Center where my kids fell in love with giraffes. Feeding them is a magical experience and my kids really enjoyed it. This created a lasting effect throughout the safari whereby my kids loved seeing the giraffes in the wild. The next stop was a curio shop where we looked around at the beautiful handicrafts. After a nice lunch, we went to the Nairobi Animal Orphanage and saw some of the animals that had been injured and were at the center. This was also a very nice experience. Later that evening, Maxwell and Sylvester met me and the family at the hotel to discuss the plans and answer our questions. The next morning, Maxwell met us at the hotel to hand us over to our safari guide, Evans.
The places we visited were stunning and the experiences will be etched in our memory forever, and Evans played such a big role in that. He is a highly experienced, personable, knowledgeable, and responsible guide whose skill in anticipating the potential movement of the animals from one spot to another provided us with several incredible moments of being in the right place at the right time. In fairness to him and the future expectations of his clients, I feel it necessary to emphasize that the movement of wild animals can’t be predicted with certainty (we all know this, right?), so once or twice we rolled the dice and moved to a location of anticipated movement that didn’t pan out as hoped, but was still so lovely nonetheless. Sometimes being patient and waiting for a moment to unfold, even if it doesn’t, is half of the fun! By the end of our journey, our family had developed a connection to Evans which will continue on past our trip. He was wonderful, and we loved spending the time we did with him.
We’ve done a bit of traveling as a family over the years, and upon our return home, we had our dinner table conversation about where this one ranks in our trips. No surprise that it ranks above all others, and it’s hard to imagine it being dethroned. Any future family trips will be battling for second place.

Good organization and excellent guide
We booked our safari from Germany and were in touch with Telly via WhatsApp and email. Everything went smoothly and we have received our details prior to the departure date.
Our Safari was organized as fly in from Zanzibar to Serengeti. Our guide Omary was very experienced and knew exactly where to spot the animals and where to take the best pictures. We also felt very safe during the driving on the bumpy roads.
One thing I would recommend is to re-confirm the hotels booked in advance as we had change in accommodation which we were not informed in advance.
For private safaris, we can recommend Telly and the team, thank you for the unforgettable experience.

Tanzania Choice Safari were exceptionally accommodating from end to end.
This Tanzanian family-owned and operated safari company was attractive to me from the get-go. They made the booking process simple and easy, breaking down each part of the trip and giving us multiple options for the itinerary. My plan was to climb Kilimanjaro, meet my girlfriend at the airport after, go on safari with her, then propose to her on the beach in Zanzibar. Climb was a success, but my girlfriend's flight was delayed so she missed her connection. We had to shave off a day of safari due to this. Tanzania Choice responded promptly with a new itinerary that included as much of the full experience as possible. They were always reassuring. When I met the guide, Noel, I immediately understood that I had met a friend. He was extremely kind, helpful, positive, and overall solid character. Such a good dude. He taught me some Swahili words that I could greet my girlfriend with, and I know if he read this, he would quiz me (Wey wey mschana mzuri - I still got it Noel). The guy cares a lot. Because we missed that first day, we drove straight from Kilimanjaro to the Serengeti, this is a looooooong drive that, due to the circumstance, Noel was happy to do for us, and we are so grateful. During safari, he worked extra hard to ensure we could see everything. We got to see lions, cheetahs, various birds, giraffes, elephants, hippos, gazelles, Topi, and the elusive leopard. The day was packed with excitement, and Noel taught us so much about the animals, their behavior, and the environment. All in all, an unforgettable adventure with memories we will cherish forever. Thank you, Tanzania Choice, and Thank you Noel. Hakuna Matata

Meijo Safaris guided by Tariq was a life changing experience for my wife and me!
Meijo Safaris guided by Tariq, experienced guide and naturalist, was a life changing experience for my wife and me.
We met local Maasai chiefs and villagers in their boma, explored the Serengetti, Ngorongoro caldera, and the Tarangire national park near Arusha.
Meeting with and learning about the Maasai and studying the behavior of the animals in the parks was extraordinary.
What made this experience stand out was the reliability, knowledge and care offered by Meijo travels and their guide Tariq.
This life changing experience should be shared with all people around the world and locals in Arusha.
Our hearts were imbued with the experience in Tanzania by the charm, care and experiences we had.
We saw Leopards and their prey, Cheetahs and their cubs, Warthogs, Wilde beasts, Lions and Lionesses in their prides, Zebras, Elephants, Rabbits, Thompson Gazelles, the elusive Black Rhino, Baboons, Hyenas and more.
Our advice is to spend more time in Serengetti per Meijo Safari’s advice, study the behavior of the animals, don’t just go for the quick pictures, and request Tariq as he is an extremely knowledgeable guide.
We hope you begin planning your trip with Meijo Safari’s as we are already contemplating a much longer trip in the future!
Wishing you all the best on your travels to Tanzania!

Can't wait for the next tour with Mo and Next Stop Tanzania! Mo is professional, fun, and extremely knowledgeable on the Tanga region and Tanzania as a whole. I loved the history and city tour of Tanga, visiting the museum, Forodhani, and Amboni caves!

Amazing
Brilliant trip to Tanzania. Amazing people and safari. Spend more time in Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorogoro, Manyara was a flop.
