Best safari experience
We did a five day safari, which was incredibly well organized from the day we booked it to the end of the tour.
Our guide, Norton, knew everything about the animals. We saw many lions, elephants, hippos, even 3 leopards and a rhino!!! Our cook, Suleman, cooked the nicest food for us. Some other groups only got sandwiches for lunch, but we always got something freshly cooked. Our lodge was very nice and the tents were big. Mattresses and sleeping bags were provided.
All in all we were very happy we chose Colours of Africa. Asante sana!

Fantastic well organized safari with excellent locations
Fantastic well-organized safari with excellent locations but the biggest thanks go to my guide Mirambo who, thanks to his experience and ability, showed me all the animals, even the unobtainable rhino. Mirambo capable person, excellent guide and driver. Joyful and heartfelt person. Thanks also for the magical birthday you arranged for me in the serengeti. Thanks Mirambo

Amazing experience! 100% recommend - our guide (Ezekiel) and cook (Khamis) were such a reason why as they took us on so many great drives to see animals and the food was incredible. The organization worked well too and there were no issues at all. You will not regret doing this!

Client oriented
Our party of 3 three requested to be accommodated at very short notice. It was high season but Diana (our Ugandan tour operator) left no stone unturned to secure our spots to track gorillas in the Bwindi Forest. She continually kept us updated on WhatsApp and provided much needed information on what to expect weather-wise and what to pack. From the moment that we were picked up at Entebbe Airport and taken to our hotel in Kampala to when we were dropped at our hotel again after the road trip, we were treated in the most friendly and professional way. And yes, we had the wonderful opportunity to engage with a gorilla family! We learned so much about Uganda from our kind and friendly driver. Our accommodation on the way to Bwindi and back was well-organised and very comfortable, providing authentic African experiences. Diana furthermore organised a Kampala tour and joined us on an unforgettable trip to the origin of the Nile in Jinja. On the way there and back she shared fascinating stories and interesting facts about Uganda and its people. To Myler Africa Safaris, it seems to be all about tailor-made tours to ensure an awesome once-in-a-lifetime experience for each of its clients.

A provider of the best Safari experience with a passion for excellence.
The best Safari tour I have ever heard was with Afro Dawn Safaris. From the time we left the Majestic Town of Vic Falls we travelled 70kms to the Zimbabwe Botswana to meet our next leg of our Safari experience. Moving from Zim into Botswana was no Hustle as it took less than 20mins to get us through customs and clearing. Our next leg into Botswana was just surprisingly smooth as in no time we had been welcomed into Botswana and awaiting Registration to enter the might Chobe River. Every step was just a culmination of excellent and convenience at its best as in no time we where cruising deep into the might Chobe River. Our Tour guide knew where to hit as in no time we where greeted to the site of Natasha a 4.5m long crocodile basking right next to our vessel with the experience of a lifetime to see up close the best of the Chobe. Less than 20 meters away the Chobe released a strong herd of Bachelor Buffaloes along it's island... majestic and gracefully feeding into their retirement they where a sight for the soul. Next to the Buffaloes was a solitary perfectly sun kissed Hippo who did not even flinch an ear as he welcomed his admirer's from afar munching on the fruits of the Chobe..what an experience. While we where still absorbed with the Hippo, our Tour Guide noticed a herd of impala and expertly drifted towards them quietly while they took the daily risky opportunity of drinking in the murky waters of the Chobe with. Quietly as nature intended to be viewed, we glided right next to the herd and docked at the Bank as they drank and as they went about their nature we also slumped back to have some Tea and biscuits served on board by the Guide to fully enjoy and take in nature slowly. Later on when we pulled away from the Banks and into the mainstream, a lone wounded Buffalo approached cautiously to drink and our Guide sadly expressed that nature would take its course as he was now a weak link shunned by the rest of the herd and vulnerable to the vicious cycle of life. Bush bucks, Geese, more Hippos and crocodiles hyped us up for the entry of the biggest and most gentle and graceful of them all The Might Elephant. God did they leave up to their billing!! Mighty and graceful they approached our vessel with the grace of a Giant as nature intended and while keeping a safe distance encouraged by their curiousity at human nature and his machines the Matriarch rolled down her truck to take a drink and playfully beckoned for her Herd to move closer. We had a big herd of at least 40 mighty African elephants going about their daily route around us, moving into and out of the water. This experience is best served in the Chobe River and with calculated movements by our Tour Guide operating the vessel, we would move close for the best upclose pics at a safe distance.
With the best experience in mind and at heart, our Guide quietly and swiftly moved us out of the Chobe and into the warm welcoming arms of Mowana Lodge for an exclusive buffet with the highlight of my meal being the ground beef which was exquisitely prepared with no spicing.
At 1430 sharp the next leg of our Chobe Wildlife Safari began as we crossed into the Game Park 20minutes later. A world awaited us.
Kudu where the first to welcome us into their backyard with heads lifted high in silent greeting. Impala stopped to have a look too as we went deeper into the Game Park. Before long our Tour Guide surprised us with a scene we only had experienced through our television sets until then as he expertly spotted a mature female lion resting after a meal of what was a young bull elephant who had succumbed to the hunt. Turning away just 5metres from the lioness was a young male lion who had just drifted quietly into a peaceful sleep with a full stomach. We had our moment with him in his peace. Later the Chobe Safari welcomed us with more majestic elephants grazing and passing expertly close to them, the Tour guide allowed us the experience to feel their sheer size and might.
The tallest in the land watched us from the trees while we could only see their Giraffe heads from afar. Unknown to us the guide had already seen them but had saved them for later so we could experience the sheer beauty of one of the big five, the Lion. After carefully tracking their best rest places, we where guided to the kings of the Jungle. The climax of our Trip I should say as they did not disappoint in their various sleeping positions....they really are big cats. A pack of 11 lionesses and 3 young males only lifted their eyes to welcome us definitely not aware of the might presence they command. Our guide moved closer for e best pics and God did they pose for us in their restful positions with legs in the air, white full tummies to the sky....surely one of the Chobe Safaris highlights...cheers to Afro Dawn guides.
Our Guide lived up to our expectations and besides the might long legged Girrafes with a 12kg monster heart passing in front of us gracefully, we met the Botswana flagship animal the Zebra. Surely we where welcomed by Botswana in her animal state. Guinea fowl chipped as if to say Goodbye as we passed by on our way out of the Chobe Safari and the last herd of elephants lifted their trunks busy I with grazing as if to say Goodbye and come back again we wait for you....
We completed our customs clearance back into Zimbabwe in less than 30mins and our welcoming Guide drove us back to our city residence. Cheers to Afro Dawn Safaris...

Dedicated to customer satisfaction
An amazing week of Safari with African Big Cats. The end to end experience was well organised and the company went above and beyond to deliver against our agreed itinerary. Our guide was knowledgeable, professional and had a great sense of humour which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The owner was also very attentive, meeting us twice during our stay for both an intro briefing and to collect our feedback at the end. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to book a Safari in Tanzania.

Joseph was our guide. We are so lucky to have him. He has so much knowledge and hospitality.
Arrangement of the safari tour and accommodation was more than great. They are the best travel agency!! Highly recommend!!
We arrived on different day, but they came to pick us up without any additional charge. Adding to this, travel always comes with unexpected trouble. For me this time was missing the flight... Lulu was very supportive all the time. We had great time!!

They care about everything, help in and situation
We did a 9 days self-drive-tour in the northern part of Tantania.
Our experience with Tecomate began with the pickup at the Kilimanjaro-Airport and the first night in Arusha.
There was our Toyota Landcruiser parked, the next morning Godfrey, one of the owners of Tecomate, arrived and gave us the keys. Godfrey guided us to Arusha center, organized a SIM-Card and made sure that we stay connected via WhatsApp.
During our tour in the rough roads in and outside the parks we had small problems with the electricity of the car. Godfrey answered within minutes and organized a mechanic at our next lodge. The car was repaired during we had dinner.
We also got lost two times on the way to our lodges, google-maps didn't know the route.
Godfrey and Gabriel assisted via WhatsApp and we made it without problems.
Between retourning the car and our transfer to the airport Godfrey and Gabriel visited us in our last lodge in Moshi.
We chatted with them and were glad that they offer more than Safari, they also care for activities with local people.
Our resumee:
- Our next trip to Tanzania will not only be the classic safari, Godfrey has a lot more offers
- We will book directly with Tecomate
- Gabriel will be our guide and driver
Thank you and all the best for you, your families and your business.
Regards
Anna & Markus

Amazing!
This was my first time traveling solo. I chose to come to Kenya for a tour of the Maasai Mara with Savannah Woods Safari. The company was wonderful at keeping in touch with me both before my arrival and checking that all was well during my adventure. Alex was my guide and I cannot say enough to complement his kindness, professionalism, knowledge and dedication to being on Safari with me! He was always punctual (even when I was not) with a clean touring van, filled with bottled water, ready to go. Every day I knew clearly what the agenda was for that day and the next. He was always inquiring as to what my expectations were and what I wanted to see or do, when I wanted to eat, get up, needed a washroom, etc. He clearly knew the other Safari drivers and they all worked together to ensure we saw a huge number of animals and birds. I always felt safe and loved just talking with him in the van. I am such an introvert, I dreaded that the most, but talking with him and spending time was so much fun I looked forward to it!! Don’t Hesitate to Book!
