Terrible and unprofessional
Feel like going on safari and having a great vacation? Then DO NOT use this company. Douglas took our money and then demanded we pay him more throughout the entire 4 days we were trying to enjoy our vacation.He used our money elsewhere and then asked us to keep paying for services he was suppose to have paid for.We ended up forking over $2000 usd after paying him over $5000. He was unprofessional and didn’t even pay the driver, we had to!?! Go elsewhere and find a more reputable company, save yourself a lot of stress.

Amazing Safaris experience in Rwanda!
We have google tour company in Rwanda and we saw Hermosa tour and others but we reached to them they responded and was very quick, we couldn’t get Gorilla Permits in Visit Rwanda but this company managed to secure our Permits and our trip was amazing, we cannot say enough about this company and our Guide Justin! If you are planning to visit Rwanda kindly dont hesitate to contact them.

Organized, thoughtful, and very responsive
Everything with Silver Spark was perfect! From the inquiry to the drop off at the end was perfect! The booking process was easy and Silver Spark was very responsive to any questions. One of the accommodations was fully booked and Silver Spark had a new accommodation within a few days. Our guide, John, was amazing!!!!!!! Some roads in the Mara were blocked off but John didn’t give up and go us to the Mara River to see the great migration. John took care of my friend and I until the airport drop off at the end.This was my second safari and highly recommend Silver Spark!

Amazing amount of attention to your needs and completely over the top care!
Lilian took everything we wanted to see and do and made an incredible itinerary for us The hotel and tent lodges were located ideally for where we were going and were great!! Most of our meals were included and the food was fantastic! I really enjoyed our hot meals, especially the one on the Serengeti, while watching the migration of wildebeests!
The automobiles were comfortable and well equipped. We were provided personalized water bottles with zero waste for the whole trip. There were snacks, water, blankets, photography bean bags, and anything we could have needed. Our guides, Daniel, Solomon, and Good Luck were amazing. They were able to spot animals literally a mile away! They are extremely knowledgeable, and we learned so much from them. As well as being great drivers, they were able to position our car in the path of numerous animals. We had zebras, elephants, cheetahs, lions, and giraffes all walk in front of our car. it was very exciting to have a lion walk right up to our car! I had a digital camera with a 400 mm lens that I was unable to use due to the fact that the animals were so close to us. They were too big to fit in the frame! I had high expectations for this trip to Tanzania and with Zohar African safari’s help it exceeded my expectations!
The company is based in Tanzania and if there was any misunderstandings, things got rectified in minutes. I can’t say enough good things about Zohar African Safaris. They pay extreme attention to your needs and fulfill you wishes and desires!

Customer focused while supporting local enterprise
Just returned from an amazing trip with my sons (16 and 17) and husband. Grassroots made everything so easy from start to finish. From the first email enquiring about types of trip to being dropped off at our final destination, everything was organised, efficient and with maximum enjoyment for us at the forefront of their minds.
All the accommodation that we stayed in exceeding our expectations. The rooms, the food, the welcome, the facilities, the location were all wonderful.
The activities that had been booked for us, were all totally awesome. Sometimes, we got the feeling that there was some ‘African’ hiccups but these were sorted without any worries being put on us.
Moses, our guide, was just brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He added surprise extra activities when he saw that time allowed. He fitted in with our family so well and we all loved him. Some of the days involved long, hard driving but he didn’t seem to tire, and just loved showing off his country. In game parks, he never gave up trying to hunt for every type of animal and was very successful! He was genuinely concerned when I got a bit of a dodgy stomach and really gave good advice to help me get over it quickly without missing out on any of our plans. He gave my boys some advice on where to do safe runs (they are runners) wherever we were, and even had a go himself! Keep running Moses…xxx
The country is just beautiful, the people are beautiful and Grassroots made it such a memorable holiday. My boys loved their first experience of Africa and will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience with Ozon Light Tours
We had a fantastic experience with Ozon light Tours to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti.
The trip was well organised by Winnie who provided excellent advice and efficient support for our itinerary including airport transfers.
Our driver guide, Frank and chef, Fred were brilliant throughout, working as a team to ensure our enjoyment of the trip.
Thanks to Frank’s detailed knowledge of animal behaviour and intuitive driving skills we witnessed some amazing moments of wildlife action.
It was a pleasure to feel Frank’s passion for the wildlife.
He was always happy to explain things and we were fascinated by his numerous wildlife experiences and also his personal journey.
He showed great professionalism with skilful driving and incredible ability to spot wildlife from afar.
Fred cooked us 3 delicious freshly cooked meals everyday. The freshly baked bread, tasty soups, desserts and various main courses were just brilliant.
His infectious smile and the pride he took in his cooking was very special.
Thank you Fred for the wonderful food ! It was well above our expectations for the cost of the trip !
We are already planning our next trip with Ozon light Tour to the Serengeti !

Exceeded my expectations for our safari experience
The accommodations were wonderful during our week-long adventure. Ayubu was an outstanding driver with a knack for squeezing into tight places and lining us up perfectly to view and photograph wildlife. The roads were rough but he navigated them with ease and somehow managed to pick out the animals while simultaneously watching out for the many road hazards. The box lunches were arranged by the places where we stayed and were very basic but had enough variety to make a meal even for a picky eater like myself. (It would have been nice to be able to assemble your own lunches to avoid waste as the Mara Heritage Camp let us do.) Dinners and breakfasts were always buffet style. Plenty of bottled water was available at both the lodging and in the vehicle. We saw over 70 different animal species throughout the week and were fortunate to witness a river crossing of wildebeest during the Great Migration. We also got to see some lionesses hunt a herd of gazelle and vultures picking apart an animal carcass. I saw several folks staying at the Planet Lodge in Arusha and taking day safaris. This is not the way to do it as you spend more time getting back and forth and less time in the parks. A 7 day trip let us see everything we wanted to and not be rushed and we usually got to our lodging an hour or more before dinner to allow us time to get the dirt off. (This is a very dusty experience so be ready for it!) Mara Heritage Camp in the Northern Serengeti had the best food and even had a nightly show of cultural performances.

Excellent customer service, excellent trip!
We just returned from an amazing safari in Kenya. Silas was exceptionally patient and answered all questions prior to the trip, and not only that - he fulfilled all of what was promised, everything went off without a hitch. We had a 9 day, 3 park safari - Samburu, Nakuru and Masai Mara. Make sure you do them in this order, Masai Mara is the cherry on top. Our driver was kind, very safe, and knowledgeable about the parks, animals, and was able to spot even notoriously difficult to find big cats.
Highly recommend the company and the safaris organized by Silas.
