well organized and professional
Machame route is confirmed the best way to reach Uhuru Peak, expecially for managing altitude.

Absolutely amazing!!!
The tour guide is very professional and knows what he’s doing, transport arrangements and sitting is very comfortable. Everything was just planned to the T on top of that the hospitality is out of this world. Literally accommodates everyone.

Very professional, responsive with inquiries and helpful in getting activities organized.
Darren at Compass Odyssey was our main contact, we communicated mostly via email but also via WhatsApp which turned out useful before and during our trip. Initially, Odyssey provided us with options for accommodations and safaris for Botswana (Okavango and Chobe). They gave us alternatives that varied in price and we were able to easily compare facilities. They also arranged for the transfer/flights within Botswana. They helped us with flight schedules and airline suggestions for the flights we had to book on our own. They answered all questions in a timely manner. Later in the process, they helped us make an itinerary of activities for Victoria Falls, and arranged for a local guide to shuttle us around the Victoria Falls area. They provided us with a very detailed itinerary once all activities were confirmed. Overall, they made things very easy. I wish they would accept credit cards for payment but that was a minor inconvenience (they require wire transfer). Overall, we had a positive experience and I would recommend Compass Odyssey.

Beautiful country! Rich in culture and history. Breathtaking wildlife, scenery and plants.
South Africa was amazing. More than I ever imagined in every way. The rich culture and history was very interesting. The people were beautiful and always very helpful. The SAN Parks are so well run and amazing to visit. Each one was different with different animals and flora, so you didn’t know what to expect which made it an even greater adventure.
Cape Town is a truly beautiful city and with Table Mountain as the backdrop, it’s like being in a movie. South Africa’s food is also delicious. We loved the curries and variety. The wineries are excellent as well. The wildlife was magnificent. I couldn’t believe we could be so close to the big Five and all the other beauties as well and the birds were amazing.
This was my first trip to South Africa, it won’t be my last. So much more to see and do.
Thank you South Africa and Wildlife Safaris.

Heaven on earth
If you want to break the mundane urban life monotony and think of witnessing the best time of your life, Tanzania is your place to go. Gorgeous and super friendly people, very hospitable, always pumped to walk and show you around their beautiful country. Exceptional wildlife that no other country on this planet would offer even close.
We visited Manyara, Serengeti (North/Center), Ngorongoro, Tarangire and literally fell in love with the nature. It's been already 3 weeks since we've arrived at our home but still every moment spent in Tanzania is so vivid and beautiful that my wife and I keep recollecting them every now and then & want to keep these beautiful memories in our hearts forever.
If given a chance/feasibility we would love to come back again soon. No wonder it's a heaven on earth.

Unforgettable!
My husband and I returned a few days ago from a tour to Uganda planned by the local tour operator "Home to Africa". The 12-day tour was well organised and allowed us to visit several National Parks and to see a lot of animals and to learn about different environments as well as customs and traditions of some local communities. Everything was perfectly organised: the accommodations, the permits, the food (delicious), the guided tours and the time spent for each visit. The highlight of the tour, the most expected moment, was the Gorilla trekking...an exciting moment that turned out to be beyond all our great expectations.
It was very nice to meet local people, to be guided by the Park’s rangers to spotting animals. We were pleasantly surprised to see how much passion and dedication these people welcomed us and made us discovering the wonders of this country.
The Ugandan population is always smiling and friendly: the children smiling when you greet them in the street and the songs and dances of the women we met during the tour were unforgettable moments.
A special thank goes to Patrick, our driver and guide. Patrick contributed greatly to our wonderful stay: a lovely person, punctual and always ready to tell about his country.
Thanks to his explanations and experience gained over the years, we were able to see the 'big 5' and discover many other animals... including the leopard, which is usually very difficult to spot. We also really appreciated Patrick as a skilled driver: we always felt safe during the tour. Thank you Patrick for making these days a very special holiday, a magnificent tour that we will never forget!
