Incredible safari experience with Jerry Tanzania Tours
5/5

Following an unforgettable Mount Kilimanjaro climb, my friend and I went on safari with Jerry Tanzania Tours. We booked from the US, several timezones away, but Jerry was incredibly responsive at all times and answered all our questions in advance, no matter how detailed. This left us feeling like we were in great hands.

The trip itself far exceeded our expectations. Our driver and safari guide Ebenezer was fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly and courteous, clearly wanting us to see as much as possible. We visited Tanagire and Ngorongoro and were treated to amazing wildlife in both parks, at close range, from elephants and giraffes to lions and ostriches, and much more besides. Accommodations throughout the trip were world-class - we felt spoiled even as westerners. All in all it was a wonderful experience which I would highly recommend to anyone.

Sky and Telescope Star Gazing and Safari- Botswana and Victoria Falls-2023
After cancelation of my trip in 2020, I waited more than three years for this highly anticipated adventure. Deborah remained in contact with me throughout the waiting and planning process for rescheduling. She arranged an impeccably planned itinerary from the first light air flight from Maun to the Kwai Private Reserve to the goodbyes to our new friends at the Victoria Falls Airport. As this was a special birthday trip, she also arranged for champagne in the tents/rooms upon arrival at each camp and lodge. As well as a birthday cake and song by the staff at the Chobe Game Lodge. The stunning beauty of Botswana, the fresh air and clear skies both day and night, the lovely people who attended to every need at the camps and lodges, the delicious food, the majesty of the abundance of animals we saw in their natural surroundings and the absolutely breathtaking unveiling of the night sky provided memories I will keep forever. Steve was a most delightful guide and his expertise navigating the overwhelmingly beautiful night sky was truly amazing and very much enjoyed. Sean’s guidance for astrophotographers was equally appreciated and enjoyed. Without a doubt, I have brought the stunning beauty and romance of southern Africa home with me in memories to cherish forever. It is impossible to imagine this trip could have been enjoyed any more than it was. With no hesitation, I would do it all over again and, with no hesitation, will use Yoga Safari again when I plan my next adventure to Africa.

Wonderful experience
5/5

At first I was a little nervous booking from abroad. However, the tour company delivered on all counts! They also found a way to provide all the rental gear that I needed for a reasonable price.

communications: Gift was always contactable.

Service: The climb was a great success. Everything was provided for. The team - porters and guides - were absolutely amazing.

Value for money: I don't think I could have found a better deal.

Reliability: Everything checked out the way it was meant to.

About: Kenya
A great experience in two amazing Kenyan parks
Overall rating
5/5

Kenya is a fantastic country. Even with a short stay (1 week) you can feel the strength (and some of the problems) of this country. We have visited two parks (Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara) with a competent guide (Geff provided by Kameraz of Africa, our tour operator). Beside the amazing scenery of wild animals living their wild life (lions are simply specials in particular when they look to you from a branch of a tree on which they rest !) , the kindness and efficiency of the staff in the lodges is remarkable. We were a bit puzzled by the Masai culture, go and decide yourself ! Two days in Nairobi were an interesting part of the trip. It gives you the feeling of a dynamic country with a lot of things going on. There are things to see in the city and around. The National Museum is great, feeding a giraffe is a nice experience even if you are not a kid. If you have time do not miss a visit to a coffe farm. To learn everything from the trees and their difficult life in the troubled period of climate change to the roasting of the grain (and finish with a coffee tasting !) is quite an experience.. You can go hiring an Uber taxi for half a day or so. Well.....the downside of Nairobi is the traffic. Difficult to explain if you do not see with your eyes. We felt safe everywhere (we did not do anything unreasonable !) . For eating there is quite a choice. One more thing for the scenery. The high land around 2500 m (even higher sometime) all green and farmed is a scenery not to miss. Conclusion, a trip not to miss !

Fantastic

I did the safari with my mum and sister and we really enjoyed it, it was an awesome. The guide know a lot and he explain us everything and answer all our questions.
We choose the the private safari because it was for the last minute and the staff help us organizing everything also the flight from Zanzibar and the taxi to the airport.
In my opinion if you go to Tanzania you need to do a safari is something that you can’t miss.
If I do an other safari will be with this group company.

Very knowledgeable guide with amazing viewing experiences!
5/5

We had an amazing experience with Serengeti Wakanda! Our guide, Bashir, was very knowledgeable about all of the animals in the parks. We started our tour at Tarangire National Park, where we saw countless Gazelle, zebras, wildebeest, monkeys, elephants, baboons, and hyenas. We then proceeded to Serengeti, home of the big cats, and boy was that a treat! We saw four of the big five in the Serengeti. It was like our guide could predict where the animals would be. Oftentimes, our vehicle was the first to arrive to see the marvelous sites. We also learned that cheetahs are critically endangered so the guides are told to interfere and protect the cheetahs when the lions are hunting them. We witnessed a female cheetah with two young cubs being hunted by at least two male lions, and we were able to successfully protect the cheetahs from being chased by the lions by blocking the lions’ path using the vehicle. On top of that, we saw a lioness hunt a hartebeest. It felt like nature was giving us a front row seat to some spectacular performances!

Our group also hosted our own personal chef. He was very personable, funny, and above all, an amazing chef! The food was some of the best I’ve eaten in all of Africa!

Our guide was also very friendly and accommodating.

I would highly recommend using Serengeti Wakanda for safari for anyone looking for an out-of-this world experience for a budget price. The only thing “budget” about four trip were the accommodations, but that was to be expected. We camped in tents for three of the five nights and the bathrooms at the campsites had hot running water and showers. They weren’t luxury and you need to bring your own soap and shampoo, but given that you’re camping in the middle of a national park, I was quite surprised by the level of comfort. The tents were also large enough to stand and they were always set up for us. For the two nights when we weren’t camping, we stayed at the Fig Tree Lodge. The rooms at the lodge were a little dirty with lots of bugs, but the people working at the lodge were very friendly and polite.

If you haven’t made up your mind yet about which company to book your Safari with, look no further. You will definitely be happy with Serengeti Wakanda.
