Mountain Gorillas of Uganda
5/5

Lulu Safaris custom built a 5-day tour for us. One day with Golden Monkeys in Rwanda and two days of Gorilla trekking in Uganda. Herbert was our guide and he was wonderful! I can’t say enough good things about him. Such a beautiful country. We were there in dry season and had zero issues with bugs. Didn't need gloves, but boot gators were a good idea. Hotels were fine, food at the hotel was hit or miss (some great, some less than great), but our guide was fantastic - I learned so much and would be thrilled to do another trip with Herbert. Three pieces of advice for visitors; 1) buy candy (lollipops?) to give to kids along your drive. 2) take children's books to donate to schools. We visited a local Batwa village outside of Bwindi and wish we had better prepared with donations. 3) because we flew in and out of Rwanda and then drove across the border to Uganda, be sure and apply for a multi-entry visa.

Trustworthy and reliable tour company.
5/5

We had been eagerly looking forward to our 14-day Rwanda Safari, a journey promised to be full of incredible wildlife encounters, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable experiences. Unfortunately, our trip couldn’t happen due to a medical event that left one of our party unable to travel. However, I must commend the Rwanda Eco Safari and Fred Odyek for their professionalism and trustworthiness throughout this difficult situation.
From the beginning, Rwanda Eco Safari had been attentive and responsive in helping us plan the perfect safari. They provided a detailed itinerary that showcased Rwanda's incredible biodiversity, including visits to national parks, wildlife reserves, and cultural sites.
Regrettably, prior to the trip, a member of our party experienced a major medical event that prevented us from undertaking the safari as planned. We were devastated to miss out on this trip of lifetime that we had been eagerly anticipating. In this challenging moment, Rwanda Eco Safari truly stepped up, Fred Odyek’s swift response and support were truly commendable, and we felt reassured despite the unfortunate circumstances.
One of the most impressive aspects of the Rwanda Eco Safari service was their commitment to transparency and fairness. They understood the situation and promptly initiated discussions about possible refunds for deposit that we had already paid. Fred Odyek’s straightforward communication and willingness to address our concerns demonstrated Rwanda Eco Safari’s integrity and reliability.
In conclusion, whilst our trip to Rwanda didn't unfold, Rwanda Eco Safari exceptional service and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. We remain hopeful that we will have the opportunity to make it to Rwanda in the future to experience the incredible wildlife and landscapes that we missed out on this time. If you're considering a safari in Rwanda with a trustworthy and reliable tour company, I would wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to Rwanda Eco Safari.

6 days of magic
5/5

I chose the 6 days Mara, Nakuru & Amboseli Safari with Lenchada Safaris… and it was magical!

I didn't realize it until I left, but to have a great safari, having an excellent guide is vital.
I met many tourists from other companies on our way, and many were disappointed with their guide.
Luckily, I shared these 6 days with the guide Joseph Sayiaton.

Highly educated, Joseph knows the Masai Mara like the back of his hand. Thanks to him, we had the chance to see many animals in one day. We also saw some amazing scenes at Lake Nakuru and Amboseli Park.
Joseph is very knowledgeable about animal species and other knowledge about Kenya: our group learned so much with him.

I am extremely grateful to have stumbled upon this guide. If you have the opportunity to go there, and you want to leave satisfied with this stay, I highly recommend it!!!

Other safari information:
- I strongly advise you to book the formula with Jeep 4x4 Lancruiser for real comfort. The roads are sometimes difficult to access and of very poor quality.
- I strongly regret the visit to the Masai village.
We made a group decision (with the people traveling with me this week) and we ended up accepting the visit ($20/person). I already suspected a little of what we could see there… Money factory, chain of visiting groups, it is absolutely not a privileged moment. In addition, you are offered several times to buy items/jewelry & co, the locals constantly insist that you take pictures of everything and nothing… i found it very intrusive in their lives, very tied up to put on a show… and above all, with all the money they raise in one day, we suspect that their way of life is absolutely not the one we have been able to observe.

Excellent service
4/5

I send a message to several operator, but Netherken was only one who really read and answer my question and gave personalized answer. It was easy choice for me. Our co-operation worked very well but unfortunately there was 2 quite big things what I'm not pleased.

1. I choose traveling to the Fig Tree camp by airplane. When I was returning back to Nairobi, plane didn't come at all and there was nobody on the airstrip who knows anything what to do. Mombasa air didn't inform us anyhow to the hotel or there was not anybody answering for us what we should do. Netherken's number didn't answer. I still don't know how, but we got 2 pilot's who bring we back to Nairobi just 1,5 hours late.
It's not so big thing, but somehow they should inform customers if there is technical problems and delays.

2. Don't by any extras beforehand!
I bought also Hot balloon safari many months before. It was mistake.
I get ill there (stomach ailment from the first lunch). Cause I couldn't leave bathroom at all, I couldn't go to the flight.
I was not happy when I heard that they will not return my money even they were selling those hot balloon flights there in Fig Tree Camp all the time for next morning every day. I mean, they didn't have to say anybody that all flights are sold out, and that way they didn't loose any new customer because of my illness. I feel it was not fair.
I didn't get it even from travel insurance cause I didn't understand that I should get doctor. Reception said that it's in Nairobi so I didn't think it's necessary after 1,5 days yet.
So don't buy any extras beforehand, you can get them later on the camp as well!

The Fifth Tree Camp is beautiful and very nice place and 1 game drive I had possible to join was amazing!
I can recommend that even my 2 deplorable experiences.
As well I can recommend Netherken as well. I'm sure they will develop communication between Mosambik air, The Fig Tree Camp and Netherken itself.

Fascinating experience with a professional friendly team
5/5

Our stay was extremely well organized by David and his team. They are attentive, learned about the fauna and flora, and always ready to explain everything we see. We and our children really enjoyed this incredible stay, and Dancing Simba contributed to this satisfaction. We strongly recommend using their services and experiences. A huge thanks to David the boss, David the new French-speaking guide, and Proches the king of the track !

From close encounters with nature greatest animals to sharing secrets of the wild, Nelson's magic was ever-present. His warm guidance and impeccable planning ensured safety and excitement. As the sun sets on our Tanzanian adventure, we would like to thank Friendship Adventure and Nelson especially for this once in a life time trip in Africa.

Extremely responsive and pulling every strings to create a dream safari experience
5/5

The experience started with the communication - William responded instantly even when we wrote in odd hours and made sure all our requests to customize the itinerary were taken care of. We opted for the land cruiser upgrade and it was well worth it.
When we arrived, we were picked up by our amazing driver and tour guide - vast experience and really knows how to create a good safari experience. He knew the parks inside out, knowing which areas to go to at what time to guarantee the best sightings. When he saw that we came with photo equipment he also made sure to position us in a way that grants the best photo opportunities. He also made sure to help us decide how to adjust the itinerary to get the best experience and best value for money.
Would highly recommend Madukha tours as this was not only the best value for money tour operator, but I am sure the experience was well above of what other, more expensive operators could have provided.
