Wonderful Journey with Full Package Adventures(Asante Sana)
We were able to have an absolutely amazing experience thanks to Full Package Adventures! Everything about the trip was carefully planned. When we got to the first lodging, Max, our guide, was waiting for us. He gave us a hearty welcome and went over the whole safari package with us. With his many years of experience, he gave us in-depth knowledge about Tanzania's environment, wildlife, people, and culture. We were drawn in by his obvious enthusiasm for his work, which was evident in every facet. Max never ceased to amaze us with his ability to make wise decisions when it came to the game drives. As a result of his choices, we not only saw the entire 'Big Five,' but also elephants, cheetahs, and leopards strolling next to our vehicle.
Together with his wealth of knowledge, he is also incredibly kind and helpful, which makes us feel safe and at ease while traveling in the car with him. We were quite pleased with the accommodations and the arrangement of all the attractions, so we would suggest this to anyone considering a similar trip. Ask to have this guide if you have the opportunity. Everything about Tanzania will be missed, including the uneven roads in the Serengeti;) Thank you so much, Full Package Adventures and especially Max (Asante sana).

Quick to answer, quality of service to accommodate, incredible experience for a solo traveller.
The 5 days trip in Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire was breathtaking. This was mostly thanks to the skilled driving of Jacobo and the amazing local food prepared by Salimu. We managed to see from up close many animals, way more than we expected including cheetahs, lions, buffalos, elephants and their respective cubs. We were told we were lucky to encounter some of them, even more multiple times. My take is that the mix of the skilled driving, knowledge of the quicker ways to go around and Jacobo network to have the news and sighting before any radio announcement made it possible.
I also took the opportunity to go for a one day trip to Materuni falls and experience homemade coffee making on the coffee tour with Fidelis. He was very helpful on any question I asked since he is originally from a city not far from the falls location. We even interacted in French on top of the usual English.
Big props to Meruslopes and Geofrey for their constant quick availability on any organizational topic ! If you want to have a real adventure experience, I cannot recommend better than them.

The charm of Africa still virgin
My 6 days in Uganda followed by Kaje Safaris. In a short time, but full of strong emotions, I had a beautiful image of Uganda, thanks above all to the experience and professionalism of Kajie through my guide (now friend) Colly. From mountain gorillas, to the safari in Queen Elizabeth Park, up to the pursuit of chimpanzees and, finally, a river excursion which completed the observation of the big five. I was lucky enough, thanks to the experience of the guide, to see 4 big ones in a single day. Lions, hippos, African elephants (the largest in the world) and the very rare leopard. In addition to the fauna and the fabulous landscapes, I cannot help but say that the friendliness of the people and their gratitude touched my heart and I am already thinking of returning to Uganda as soon as possible.
To conclude, I would like to recommend Kajie Safaris for their professionalism, seriousness and preparation. They make sure you don't lack anything and satisfy every request. I couldn't have chosen better.

A beautiful country with complexities that you can feel. Very organized for tourism
My tour operator was Mzansi Experience. Not expensive and really very good. The parks are wonderful and full of animals, it is a very varied landscape. Tourists are welcomed with kindness and attention everywhere. Unfortunately I can't say I've lived the cities, because are described as dangerous, and in hotels they don't recommend walking - even during the day - so I didn't visit either the center of Cape Town or Johannesburg

Tanzania is an excellent safari destination with lots to be seen.
I visited Tanzania in December 2023 and did a 9 day safari over the Christmas and New Year period. I booked through Doreen Paradise and Wilderness, who were excellent. I was taken on a circuit of the national parks in the north of the country, and had some great wildlife viewing as well as some cultural encounters with the Maasi people.
The only real downside is that a lot of the roads are not metalized and can be rough and corrugated. So driving what can be long distances could be difficult for those with a bad back or similar condition.
Another piece of advice I would offer is always to go with a reputable travel company unless you are very confident of making your own arrangements. The bush in Tanzania is very different from European or North American city life and one could feel very lost without a ready made support network.
But I had a great time and would recommend it highly.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Keir
Lots of animals to see, particularly lions and elephants. The scenery is spectacular. The crater is the highlight, but there is lots to see all over the park.

Great company with the best guide
Firstly I have to give 5 stars for our guide (Andrew) and chef (Moshi). I can say with confidence that they made the tour amazing. Moshi was so friendly, fun and most importantly made the best food for us. Andrew was well organised, provided so much info, was always smiling and engaging with the group and most importantly lead us to the animals and had some inhuman ability to spot so many animals while also driving that the rest of us often couldn’t even see with our eyes. We met other guides and spoke to other travelers about their guides and we got the feeling all were not equal so if you get the chance to go with Andrew, take it.
The company itself were good and easy to deal with, had decent vehicles and equipment so no complaints at all.
With the tour schedule, we did 4 days 3 nights. First day was about 7 hours driving to Serengeti however half of that was in various wildlife areas so you do see animals on the way. The afternoon was in the Serengeti although it is via a common route mainly for the benefit of getting to the camp. The camp was very basic, which we knew going into it, but was a great experience as animals roam the campsite at night as there are no fences. The next day was half day drive in Serengeti before heading off to Ngorongoro campsite which was about 5 hours (still seeing animals during the drive). Overall the Serengeti was okay but it’s so large and already out that we didn’t see that any animals and o would recommend having a full day there instead of what we did as you then go further and should see more. Also wet season should be avoided if possible as you see so many less animals- grass is too high and animals don’t congregate at watering holes. Day 3 at Ngorongoro was by far the best and the highlight for everyone. The crater itself is a view to behold but more importantly the quantity / density of animals, the fact they cant / don’t generally leave due to the crater walls, the flatness (easier to see animals) and the small size so easy to get around makes it perfect for wildlife spotting. It is relatively small though so 1 full day or a half day is all that is required. We then stayed in a decent lodge on our last night before visiting Tarangire NP for half day on day 4. I would say animal spotting was similar to Serengeti (probably not great for us due to it being wet season) but it’s still nice and has a great landscape which includes the large baobaba trees.
We were super lucky to see the big 5 during this trip with the most elusive, leopard, spotted once on our last day in Tarangire literally in the last 15 minutes as we were driving out.

The perfect balance of knowledge and personality
Kenya Bush Expeditions as a company were great to deal with. They were easy to contact and responded quickly and clearly. It was a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of the other communications we had with companies in Kenya.
Tony, our guide, was the highlight of the trip. My girlfriend and I instantly connected with him and he made the safari a hundred times better with his enthusiasm and understanding of the area and wildlife. He made sure we saw what we could of the big 5 but more than that he clocked that we were enthusiastic about seeing all the animals big and small. So we got incredible shots of a huge number of birds and small animals. He found us great places for sunrises and sunsets. I cannot recommend this adventure enough.
