Amazing experience from start to finish
We had the trip of a lifetime with Ongeri Expeditions in Kenya!
Communication was excellent and all our queries were answered quickly.
Our driver and guide George was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and fauna, and looked after us well the whole trip. Most importantly he made sure that my partner (who had never been on a safari before) got to see his Big Five!
We visited Samburu, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara. These provided a great mix of wildlife and landscapes. We opted for the luxury accommodation and all the places we stayed were of an extremely high standard. Our highlight would have to be Ashnil Surana camp in Samburu - truly stunning surroundings (watching elephants and other wildlife crossing the river from your veranda) and a beautiful lodge. The staff at all the camps could not do enough for you! I am vegetarian and all the camps had several options for me to choose from. In the months running up to our trip we had some of our accommodation changed, however we were advised this was due to bad feedback for one camp, and the new camp in Samburu having opened up, so it was clear from the outset that Abner takes great care to only provide the best experiences.
All in all we would not hesitate to recommend Ongeri Expeditions to anyone looking for the perfect Kenyan safari experience!

Outstanding partner in planning a perfect safari.
From the beginning, Brett at Sun Safari was incredibly helpful. He took the time to understand what our group wanted, what our budget and time resources were, and then worked with us to design a perfect excursion to Kruger. Everything he planned for us worked out perfectly, from the flights, to ground transfers, to the magical safaris themselves. We spent a few days at Rhino Walking Safari and a few days at Thabamati Luxury Tented camp. Brett had advised this so we could experience the intimacy and excitement of a walking safari, and then experience the different perspective of a drive safari. The staff and guides at both camps were extraordinary, and we learned so much about animals, tracking, birds, and plants. We ended up seeing everything possible (except cheetah) - even a black rhino on the walking tour! We have already recommended Sun Safaris to family and friends and would not use anyone else to help plan a trip when we return. Brett is very responsive and goes the extra mile, and we felt that we received incredible value for the money. This was one of the best trips we've ever had!

I would recommend Safaris by Jon over and over again.
I will start by saying Uganda is amazing. Safaris by Jon was an excellent tour company. His email response time with any questions were answered very quickly and thoroughly. Jon picked us up at our hotel on time and we then toured the local Kampala attractions. We continued with our arranged tour with his tour guides Jerrod and Hillary. Both were exemplary. Their knowledge of Uganda was so good! We were thoroughly impressed with the entire tour. When considering Uganda we were concerned about the Level 2 travel advisory. Jon assured that Uganda was safe. We found this to be true every place we went. It is unfortunate that the government has not been able to reduce this advisory. We did an one day Akagera safari, were picked up by Kigali hotel. Your guide was excellent, expert, friendly and great driver. We enjoyed a great safari day! Everything went as per plan and price and communication with the agency amazing!

First off, the official written quote gave me a glimpse of the well handcrafted adventure we were expecting to get. I was already anticipating the highlights that were beautiful phrased.
Any changes made were clearly communicated promptly. Driver change, and accommodation changes.
Our Driver and tour guide Geoffrey showed up on time to the custom location which was not in the usual pick up city with ready cold water bottles and a big smile.😁
Our game drives were fun and timely done to maximize the animal sightings; elephants. cheeters, gazelles, zebras, twiga etc

Jackson was selfless and put us 1st on everything.
This was my second trip to Uganda and I was blessed to bring my daughter along this trip. We were greeted at the airport with a great smile and a since security. Over the next week Jackson went above and beyond for our group. He was always early and stayed late. On our safari Jackson was very knowledgeable of all the animals and explained them well. I never felt like we were ever put in danger on our safari. Thank you Jackson and Brian with Uganda Family Tours for the awesome job. I highly recommend this group…
