A beautiful experience! Our whole family was excited about the trip. The driver was very experienced and also had Chinese service. We recommend this company because it is really good.

We were informed we that we would be picked up from our hotel at 10,00 a.m. in the morning. At 10.00a.m. exactly Simon and his assistant arrived at the hotel in a very clean air conditioned vehicle. The vehicle was spacious and first class. We then set off in Luxury to the Chobe safari Lodge Hotel as agreed.
The hotel was excellent on the banks of the Chobe river. We were taken by Simon our guide to meet July the pilot of the river boat. We boarded the boat for a wonderful three hour guided tour of the Chobe River viewing a range of animals at very close quarters. The guide was excellent very friendly and informative. Quite an adventure.
The following day we were picked up by Cobra our guide for the day in an open sided safari jeep from the hotel and taken on a twelve hour safari excursion. It was fabulous and met our expectations. Breakfast and dinner in the bush was more than adequate.
Day 3 and we were picked up again by Simon at the agreed time and off we travelled to Planet Baobab. A rustic down to earth hotel complex. After arrival we were taken on a two hour guided walk into the bush ending in beers by a water hole where we were able to watch the animals drinking as the sun was setting - Fabulous.
Day 4 was an early start, up at four thirty for a safari trip through the bush to see the meerkats, salt pans and the massive migration of wilder beasts and zebras across the plains. A one and a half hours trip each way but well worth it. The guide was enthusiastic and informative.
Back to the hotel and a quick exit to join Simon again for our transfer to the Okavango Delta. It’s a long trip but Simon pointed out anything of interest on the way. Simon then handed us over to the helicopter guide company at the airport. It was a one hour flight and Simon was there to greet us again at the exit where he transferred us to the Cresta Muan Hotel via a cash point to get the much needed Botswana currency. Simon said good-bye at the hotel and confirmed we would be picked up a 7.30 a.m. for our trip to the delta. Simon was excellent always on time and good company.
The trip to the delta was 1.5 hours along bumpy roads to the canoe launch area. The canoe trip although short was good. We landed on an island and enjoyed a 2.5 hour walk through the bush. Dinner was served upon our return. The food was very good.
Overall it was a great experience, Cuckoo provided a quality team and quality transport. They were punctual, knowledgable and good company. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Some of the journeys in the jeep were long and on bumpy terrain but perhaps that’s what is required to get you deep into the bush to experience animals in the wilderness.

About: Tanzania
Worth a visit!

Tanzania has everything a traveller can hope for. Great food, beautiful landscape, amazing wildlife, stunning beaches, the highest mountain in Africa, the biggest lake in Africa and a very happy, helpful and outgoing population.
I would always recommend a visit and have been to Tanzania five times. A Safari is a must (The Ngoro Ngoro crator especially), as well as a visit to the Kilimanjaro. Zansibar is also a great place to visit, but so are the beaches around Dar es Salaam.
Make sure not to miss out and enjoy your time there!

Safari and More

Our experience with Tales of Tanzania Safaris was excellent. My travel partner (daughter) had to make some unexpected changes before our arrival and Pendo was very accommodating. We were picked up by our fabulous guide, Peter, at the airport in Arusha and spent the week going to Tarangire National Park, Ndutu, Central Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Magyar National Park. We saw many animals up close and personal and learned many facts about all the animals.
Peter was a superb guide. He told us interesting details about the culture, animals and people living in the area. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and were enjoying ourselves. His kindness to us and to others was greatly appreciated.
Our accommodations were great whether a lodge, hotel or luxury tented camp. We were always well fed and had a great nights rest. I admit I had no idea what to expect at a luxury tented camp. The nights at the luxury tented camps were phenomenal. I felt safe and secure. The food was excellent and the opportunity to hear animals chatting during the night was so exciting.
I cannot say enough about the communication and professional manner we experienced with Pendo and Peter. Pendo truly works to customize the trip you want to experience. She made sure the safari was the length we wanted and the places we would want to see. She also navigated the itinerary for the week we spent after the safari.
Peter was perfect! He is a man with integrity and values those around him. He quickly understood our needs and made sure we had a great time on our safari. I enjoyed every minute with him. He went above and beyond for us!!!
I highly recommend Tales Of Tanzania!!

Perfect budget safari experience
5/5

Excellent day ! Very intense! We saw almost all the animals including 4 lions. It's a budget but it's worth it. Everything is very well organized, from the taxi that takes us to the hotel, including the plane and the lunch. To do without hesitation!

It was a bit overwhelming booking a 11-day trip in East Africa on the internet but Kevic and Bob really made it easy! It’s been a life time dream of mine to see the Mt Kilimanjaro but the big companies didn’t care enough to take us to Amboseli- which turned out to be amazing! Kevic was the first one to write up a beautiful proposal and made my dream come true! Bob has been super responsive and accommodating to all my needs and wants during our trip planning- he really tailor made my trip. We spent 6 days in Kenya and 5 days in Tanzania and both were smooth and fun! Our tour guides in both countries have demonstrated full professionalism and really showed us a good time. Bob followed up with me during our trip as well to make sure everything was up to our satisfaction. Kevic has really made this trip easy, worry-free and memorable!
