A great value-for-money adventure!
We took a ten day tour which began in Arusha and ended in Nairobi. At first, I was a little worried because Super Eagles was so much cheaper than the other operators. However, the tour was fantastic! Seamless organisation and communication!
Camping in Tanzania was very basic but very exciting. We had elephants, buffalo and zebra right near our tents. The accomodation in Kenya was permanent tents with bathrooms. In Australia, we would call this glamping!
Our tour guides were great and Brian was extremely organised and helpful!
Special thanks to Richard for answering all my questions and always being available. We were especially grateful that he organised the prompt return of my husband’s binoculars to Kenya after he left them in Tanzania.

The Best Kenya and Tanzania Trip with Gilmag Safaris
My husband and I have had this trip to see the wildebeest migration on our bucket list for some time and we decided to go this year to coincide with our wedding anniversary.
From the first interaction with Mary and the Gilmag Safaris team I knew I could trust them with my safari plans. Mary was very prompt at answering many of our questions leading up to the trip. Communication was fantastic with all my requests and changes quickly addressed. They also provided great advice on accommodations and things to do. Gilmag Safaris planned our safari to East Africa and we were certainly in the right areas at the right time. Our itinerary was well designed to maximize time with the migration and related sightings.
We flew into the Maasai Mara from Nairobi and all flight connections and transfers to Serengeti were arranged for us and went like clockwork covering Kenya and Tanzania. The Hotels and lodges were beautiful and service second to none. We had some fabulous sightings with Amos and Gilbert - our very experienced tour guides from Kenya and Tanzania. They were excellent at anticipating the animals’ movements to ensure good photos.

Everything was well prepared and the accomodations exceeded our expectations. The communication with Paul was quick and he answered all questions to our satisfaction. The food was excellent and our guide Ezekiel did a fantastic job.

From the outset the person that dealt with my booking was just so helpful , I new what I wanted from my trip but had no idea how to go about . Bongan safaris knew the right spots to find the animals.
These guys were cool, calm and fun operators. Great vibes and great energy. We did 2 afternoon safaris and they were on time both days. Great value for the cost. We saw lots of animals and all the ones we requested to see. They were very knowledgeable about the animals and the area. It was epic. Highly recommend.

Very well organized for an unforgettable experience!
There is nothing to complain about, from the beginning to the end (5 days, Masai Mara, Lakes Nakuru and Naivasha, Masai Village, Crescent island, Hell's Gate) everyday was really unique, a true life experience for us (couple), a dream that came true, even for a budget safari, we had everything. Seven unknown people on the 4x4 jeep, plus the driver of course (i 'll talk about him), but every day together in this, you end up as a team, sharing the same experience. The driver...the driver, Kikitu, is the best we could ever have for this, full of life, i really enjoyed the safari with him, he did everything he could to please us, also as a guide, i learned so many things about Africa's animals, all of them, very fast, but careful, we were in good hands, it was a true safari, a real game drive. The laugh we had with him every day was just a pleasure, if you like to laugh...you' ll laugh, i promise! The food was more than enough everyday (even during the game drive, Kikitu took care of us,in the savanna), the places we stayed, were super fine (tent and hotel rooms). I don't have experience with others, first time there, perhaps they are all the same, but we left very happy, so we fully recommend Africa Sermon (also very quick and detailed response to every question or quest we had).
