Best safari experience in Tanzania
We had a great time. Our driver YUNUS was very kind and nice. He made our experience as a couple unique. Enterprising in research, but at the same time extremely respectful of nature and animals. Impeccable organization and correctness compared to what was anticipated. The result was above expectations!

Fantastic Experience
What a fantastic trip. I would definitely recommend our 10 day tour of Uganda and Rwanda with Gorilla O'clock. Paul (the owner) is very attentive and always easy to contact on WhatsApp. Khalif (tour guide) was fantastic. He was able to explain so much about the culture and wildlife we encountered

We saw the Big 5 and more with Viva Safari
We had an incredible time with Viva Safari and I can't say enough about our experience. My spouse and I had considered doing a self-driving tour in Kruger with our rental car... but if you saw where George - our guide - was driving us in Balule Private Game Reserve, no rental car could ever get us that close and personal to a hunting leopard.
We did a 4-Day Tour in late August staying at Tremisana Lodge and Marc's Treehouse. Viva Safari was easy to work with and on-site staff kept us well-informed about our logistics, daily plans, and expectations. The August time was perfect. There was incredible visibility across the landscape making sightings easy with super clear lines of sight to wildlife all over the place.
The staff were great! The guides are really knowledgeable. Smiley, George, Quinton and our other guides were quick to answer questions and helped us learn more about the parks, animals and plants. Since it was our honeymoon, Mama C (I believe) personalized a little welcome at Marc's Treehouse, which was just a special cherry on top to a lovely stay.
Yes, we did see the Big 5 over the course of our tour, but that really wasn't the goal for us. We were looking to experience South Africa. Viva Safari got us close and personal with the wildlife, but also encouraged us to learn more about the overarching environment these animals are living in, and learn more about South Africa's park system and conservation efforts. We had some very honest conversations with our guides and loved every minute!
The overarching highlight - the night drive with George. We weren't finding much. We saw an elephant early in the drive and then everything went dark. Not a sight or sound from any animals. But then, as hope was fading of finding any animals, a leopard. George takes us over and we're driving parallel to this leopard. We let it go so not to disturb it, but circled back to the area 20 minutes later to find the leopard on the top branch of a huge tree hunting a genet. The genet leapt out of the tree (falling about 10 meters), leopard sprinting down after it. And we watched the entire hunt. Spectacular display and we were lucky to witness it.

Delivers on lots of animals especially elephants
We saw lots of animals on the trip, including lions and a leopard thanks to game drives especially in Chobe area. Also our guide Musa made border crossings much easier and quicker for us than for other travelers we met.
We traveled from Livingstone to Vic Falls in Zimbabwe and then into Botswana on seven day safari and back to Vic Falls. Lots of time traveling in car and game drive vehicles often over very bumpy dirt roads especially to Okevango Delta. Bush toilets on the long drives. Resort hotels and meals were very good and arranged seamlessly. Trip required many early mornings with more than daughter expected. Focus is on animals but would have enjoyed more background on countries, history and culture in Africa.

A Remarkable 13-Day Safari Adventure!
My 13-day safari through Kenya and Tanzania was truly exceptional. While I missed the Great Migration, I was treated to breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable wildlife moments. Masai Mara offered magnificent panoramas accompanied by an abundance of wildlife. Witnessing the majestic rhinoceros in Nakuru was a rare privilege that added a unique dimension to my safari. The boat safari and bike safari in Naivasha were delightful surprises and a memorable addition to my adventure. Amboseli showcased some of the most stunning elephants I've ever seen, leaving me in awe of their grace and grandeur. Ngorongoro Crater was a geological wonder and a highlight of my journey, with its astounding diversity of wildlife in this natural amphitheater. Serengeti National Park, with its vast plains and abundant lions, offered a truly unique and timeless safari experience. Tarangire and Manyara added variety to my adventure, with Tarangire's landscape and Manyara's birdlife ensuring I didn't miss anything. The professional and knowledgeable drivers were the backbone of my safari, enhancing my understanding of the African wilderness. My safari was a blend of remarkable moments and unique encounters. I gained so much from this unforgettable journey and I want to come back to catch the Great Migration. The budget accommodations were quite comfortable, allowing me to fully appreciate nature and connect with fellow travelers to share our incredible experiences. A heartfelt thanks to the exceptional guides and the entire team for making the safari an incredible experience.

Attentive to detail and ensuring customer satisfaction as number one priority
We used Morning Star Tours & Travel for our recent 7 day safari experience. We provided Dennis at a high level what we were looking for and the dates that we were looking at. Dennis arranged everything for us including all the lodges and even spoke to all the lodges and camps of our dietary requirements. Morning Star sent us a detailed itinerary to review which details all the activities each day and the meal plan. Their communication during both arranging the safari, during and after was excellent. Nothing was too much for them.
At the start of the safari, Dennis personally came to meet us at the hotel we were staying to ensure any final questions were answered and that we were comfortable with the driver. Our safari covered both Kenya and Tanzania so we had a driver in Kenya and a different on in Tanzania. Both drivers were chatty and made us feel comfortable with them. Their knowledge of the area and the national parks were immense and they would give us great insight.
We had to cross the Kenya/Tanzania border and we were not too sure of the process but the drivers made sure they stayed with us throughout the process and only left once they handed us to the next driver.
Safari holidays are not cheap for the service we received from Morning Star, the reliability of the company, their attentiveness, the quality of the lodges and camp we stayed at, it was great value for money.
We did a private tour (4 of us) rather than a group tour which allowed the tour to be flexible each day and I would that if you are prepared to pay a little more, do a private tour rather than the group tour (just so you can decide the pace and have that personal experience).
We wouldn't hesitate booking via Morning Star Tours & Travel next time and highly recommend them.

Really good, reliable tour operator
Karibu safaris communicated really fast on both email and their website chatbot. I booked the 3 days Masai Mara safari with the Jambo Mara lodge and for sure got value for money. The lodge was a bit outdated but not too bad as you mainly go for the safari and the animals. Our driver was Anthony, he was always on time and got us to see a lot of animals. He knew what to do and where to go. He took good care of our group. If i have to give 1 negative comment it would be the Masai village you visit, as you get there and are welcomed but suddenly are asked to pay KSH 1500 per person to the Masai for the tour in their village, this is not informed upfront. Overall a great experience of a lifetime and will for sure come back!
