Extremely satisfied!
From the very beginning of planning our trip Primate Tours gave us their undivided attention and listened to what we wanted to experience. We got regular emails from Bansey and Judy to discuss the trip and each aspect of it as it developed into our booking. They arranged everything, and I mean everything! Every detail was given attention and these ladies worked tirelessly to fit everything we wanted into the time we had. By the time we met them in person, it felt like I was greeting friends and family. Each day was a new adventure and we had the best time. The staff at Primate Tours really can’t be beaten on their high standards of customer care! They kept in touch with us throughout our trip and when we had to change plans ( due to change in circumstances) Primate handled the short notice changes wonderfully and so smoothly that you would never have known that it wasn’t always planned that way! All of the Primate staff were friendly and went out of their way to give us a personal experience. Our safari guide Hassan was so knowledgeable and we all felt very relaxed in his company. He laughed a lot with us and made our safaris and drives so amazing. It was so good to have people we could laugh with and we genuinely loved every day with him. In Mombassa we spent our time with Moses, another Primate Team member and he was also wonderful. We laughed and enjoyed the places he took us and the time flew so quickly. The Primate Staff made us feel so welcome, like lifelong friends! My children (aged 11 and 8) had such an amazing time and all the Primate Staff played games with them and made it so much fun. We even played crazy golf with them on our last day in Nairobi before we had to go to the airport! We all wished we could have stayed longer. It was an emotional trip with so many amazing moments and I am so pleased I trusted Primate Tours with this once in a lifetime trip. You really can’t do better than Primate Tours!

Amazing 5 Day Safari with our guide Fred and personal chef DVD
What can I say. The Safari was well organized and we had a lot of fun with these guys. Our guide Fred made a great effort to see all the animals we would like. We get never bored and he also knows a lot about flora and fauna. He had always and answer.
After the safari everything was set up (tent etc) and our chef DVD prepared popcorn and a fresh coffee. In the evening we ate quite good that means we never felt that we were on safari. He cooked every day differently and for dessert we had fresh yummy fruits. The BEST: He baked a cake for us after we told him that this journey is our honeymoon. And Fred organized a bottle of wine. How nice is that!!!!
So don't hesitate to book a safari with Orongai because everything was perfect. We will come back......

A super fantastic tour - THE BEST ONE WE EVER HAVE !
We, a group of nine persons, have just finished our 3-week trip in Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. All of us have the same conclusion about the trip : Far exceed our expectation !
Thousand thanks go to Derek who is extremely responsive, patient, helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us the best advice on the design of itinerary, selection of accommodation, and suggestions of perfect places for our photo-taking (this is our main purpose coming to visit these countries). We started the planning of this trip in late last year, and have exchanged probably more than a hundred emails with Derek. He never failed to reply within 24 hours, and most of all, always tried his best to address our concerns though we knew that some of our issues raised were pretty minor. No doubt, he is a super fantastic travel consultant we have every met !
The whole trip went extremely well - smooth like silk. We counted ourselves very lucky again for having Sammy and Saari as our guides / drivers. Their driving skills and knowledge about the places we visited are impeccable. This is particular true for Sammy who knows every corner and hidden places in the Etosha National Park as he had been working here for almost a decade before. Both of them are very pleasant, and wear smiles all the times. We were all impressed by their super fantastic services which made our whole journey a very comfortable and cheerful one.
The only thing we “complain” about this trip is that a traveling period of 3 weeks was still too short as, apparently, we had not enjoyed enough. The accommodations, the meals, the itinerary … actually everything in the trip were exceptionally good. In short, far exceed our expectation !
Taking this opportunity, we would like to express our profound appreciation to Derek, Sammy and Saari (indeed everyone in the Blue Crane) for giving us a super fantastic Africa experience which we would treasure forever.
All of us have no hesitation to recommend Blue Crane (in particular the three gentlemen) to our friends and relatives if any of them shows interest in travelling in Namibia. To us, Blue Crane is the best choice of tour operator (not one of) for any one coming to visit this country.

Wonderful Experience with Shoor Safaris
Though our booking was rather last minute, my wife and I were determined to experience the best of Kenya within a one week period which we had off from work. We picked this company thanks to the stellar reviews online. Well now back from our Safari I only have praise for the professionalism and dedication of the team at Shoor as they went out of their way to ensure all went well with our trip.
Infact I am already planning a trip back next year to include a visit to Tanzania as well.

Amazing experience at Kruger National Park
Our driver, Lilly, did a great job! She picked us up at the hotel on time. She provided us good information about the animals that we found. She was nice all the time and she treated us very well during all the time. I recommend this operator, they achieved our expectations and had a good price also.

Everything was great. I am thankful to those who reviewed this previously on this website because it convinced me to do it. I did the 3 day trip to Selous, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Worth every penny.

Unforgettable fortnight in a remarkable country
A trip of a lifetime is an overused expression but this absolutely was. Having thought this would be my one experience of an African safari, the problem now is I want to come back!
Our trip was for two weeks . Rob and Charlotte arranged the perfect mix of lodges and two three days mobile safari. The advance information was brilliant, just enough to raise the excitement levels and anticipation and we were not disappointed with the reality. The lodges were lovely and the mobile safari was definitely the highlight.
Every day for the whole fortnight saw us seeing something new. An animal round every corner ( some more difficult to access than others) with the occasional elephant providing siesta entertainment by wondering past the camp as we lounged on the extra "chill out" area tent. Besides the animals there was the most incredible number of birds all reliable identified making our wildlife books almost redundant for everything except reliving the days exploits!
The safari team were remarkable, the tents put up and set out so that we had all the pluses of camping but none of the discomforts. Miles from nowhere, really in the middle of the bush but with all the home comforts. En suite showers and loos were great but above all the food and wine was absolutely superb and would compete with any static restaurant or hotel. What's more the team were lovely and couldn't have been more welcoming.
I really hope I will be back.

Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari
Had a wonderful time with Gideon safaris! Gideon is very attentive and responsive to his clients needs and questions. He also was very understanding of a payment issue and went out of his way to ensure we got things taken care of. We did have to wait for a ride transfer and for the driver to fill up fuel, but we still made the flight with plenty of time. I’d say punctuality could be improved. Overall Gideon Safaris pinches above its weight for its size and I was impressed with the service.
Our safari was an incredible experience and the parks lived up to their names. Leo, our driver, was also a wonderful guide and person. He took great care of us and was very knowledgeable regarding the park and it’s animals, tanzania history, etc. It was a pleasure to get to know him and spend time with him in his beautiful country.

Customised, personalised and unforgettable!
Zohar African Safaris provides customised, personalised safaris and immersive cultural experiences. Travelling with another solo female traveller and having limited time in Tanzania, Lillian provided us with a "best of" experience over 3 days - at very short notice. Our highly qualified and knowledgable guide took us to Tarangire National Park on the first day, where we saw an abundance of wildlife, followed by a most comfortable stay at at the spacious Safari Lodge. The Tanzanian sunrise overlooking the national park was breathtaking! Day 2 saw us at the Majimoto Boardwalk and Hot Springs in Lake Manyara National Park to check out the sea of pink flamingos - my personal favourite. We were then treated to a traditional lunch in a family home, with delicious food and warm hospitality. A bike ride through the villages and countryside, chatting to locals and even tasting banana wine at a local 'pub' in Mto wa Mbu was the highlight. We spent overnight in the wonderfully appointed Country Lodge, with a hearty breakfast, before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We had incredible views of the crater before descending into the crater itself, again seeing a plethora of wildlife, a lion crossing our path only a few meters away!
Lillian and her team expertly tailored the experience, with a highly qualified and friendly guide who ensured the whole safari was hassle free - from the moment of pick up to drop off back to our hotel. I cannot recommend Zohar African Safaris highly enough, for a truly unique, authentic and unforgettable experience!
