WILD WONDERS WITH SAFARI360
5/5

This 4-day safari with Safari360 was simply amazing. On the first day we saw huge baobab trees and herds of elephants in Tarangire. On the second day we had an amazing game drive in the Serengeti and saw a cheetah chasing antelope in the distance! The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Spending the night in the tent camp was a different experience - the sounds of the wildlife that we heard at night still ring in our ears.

We loved every part of our safari! Everything was coordinated perfectly, and we never had to worry about details. We saw the big 5, loved the hotel, and ate delicious food!

Gail Davis was very helpful, patient and very informative, I would highly recommend her.

Pembury Tours was recommended to me and I am so glad I took their advise. Gail Davis was so helpful and patient while I was selecting our options. The tour was amazing. Service was excellent and the value of money was worth every penny. Having everything preplanned and an up-to-date itinerary made the trip relaxing and very memorable.

A Truly Unforgettable Safari Experience with Hyrax Safaris
5/5

My wife and I went on a private 5-day safari in Kenya with Hyrax Safaris in June 2025, and it was nothing short of spectacular.

From the outset, communication with Rose was seamless and prompt. Her professionalism and the competitive pricing were key reasons I chose Hyrax over the hundreds of other companies out there — and I'm so glad I did.

Our guide and driver, Ben, was simply outstanding. His tracking skills were top-notch — on several occasions, we were the only vehicle at sightings of elephants, cheetahs, and lions. We were often just a few feet away from these majestic animals — I’ll be sharing photos to show just how close we got. Thanks to Ben, we saw the Big Five and countless other species. It was a wildlife experience beyond anything we imagined.

The accommodations were excellent, with a special mention for Nakuru Sopa Lodge — and Lake Nakuru itself was a hidden gem. We honestly wished we had more time there. Our time in the Masai Mara was unforgettable, especially the hot air balloon ride — truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Although our time in Amboseli was short, it was still incredibly rewarding with numerous elephant sightings and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

I wholeheartedly recommend Hyrax Safaris — their service quality, well-curated hotel selections (even the mid-range options were fantastic), and of course, our phenomenal guide Ben.

Having traveled to over 35 countries, I can confidently say this trip ranks among the very best. It will remain etched in our memories forever.

The perfect tour that we wanted with the utmost attention to detail.
5/5

I came into contact with Ranger Buck Safari through a prior tour operator that we used in Tanzania called African heartlands.com with the guide being Teri Allen.

This time my goal was to go to the Okavango Delta to experience a different type of Safari with water, and I also knew that Botswana was the largest concentration of elephants remaining on the planet. Our trip started with Cape Town where we spent three nights enjoying a walking tour, visit to the waterfront, and a wonderful drive down to the Cape of Good Hope. Our guide was knowledgeable, informative, helpful, and took us to anything that we wanted and arranged that we were always on time for a different guided tour. I especially like the walking tour that gave a comprehensive history of the story of Cape Town from its formation as a colonial city until today.

From there, we left Cape Town and went up to Franschhoek and wine country. This was an additional unexpected wonderful experience that we had not planned, but was included by the tour operator. We stayed at a Richard Branson hotel with five stars in wine country with beautiful views wonderful food and an atmosphere that I have never experienced before. If you are familiar with the television show the White Lotus on Netflix, we felt that we were staying at accommodations that would meet that shows setting. The next day we toured wine country with three different exceptional vineyards and took a wine safari through the vineyards. A wonderful experience.

We then flew onto Botswana and spent four nights at the Chobe river Camp for our Safari. This was a beautiful setting in the middle of the Okavango Delta that we flew into on a small taxi airline. Our accommodations were five star in my opinion with a full deck, walk-in shower and accommodations that again matched the best hotels in the world. The food was eaten with everyone at the camp with an open bar and an exceptional setting to watch the Delta from the living room light setting fully outdoors. Meeting the other visitors and touring with them on the water boat was fantastic where we saw elephants, crocodiles, lions, giraffes, and many other mammals and many many birds.

I also took four walking Safaris with our guide who would take us to small islands on the Delta where we would walk to experience what it was like to see animal tracks and large animals on the ground. Our guides were exceptional as they had lived in the Delta and were familiar with lions and elephants being their neighbors. They had learned to understand them, their nature, their tracks and how to best deal with them if they were to be approached, I saw many animals in their real environment, and they looked at me as a threat to them. We had to be quiet stay together, and it was a wonderful opportunity to not be in a truck or car to see nature in Africa.

After three nights, we moved to the Chobe Wildlife Camp that had a much more permanent feel as it was built back in the 1940s and in fact was the location where Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor renewed their second wedding. While I was mourning that I had left the perfect water camp, I realize I had upgraded to a new adventure in Safari with both water and safari. The amazing amount of animals that we saw include elephants lions giraffes, and many kinds of antelope. We returned home after a morning safari for a wonderful lunch and then went back out in the afternoon before dinner. Each day we ended our jeep or boat safari when the sunset.

This time the accommodations were once again beyond what I had expected. A five star treatment with a pool, wonderful food, perfect groundskeeping, including the wild warthogs that would be standing sometimes right outside our door. This camp also includes a wonderful walkway that goes down to an open deck that overlooks the Chobe river, or we could watch herds of wild elephants or hippos wander in our natural habitat. I would never returned to Botswana without returning to this particular camp.

From here we moved on to a suggestion from our to operator that we visit Victoria Falls. We were accommodated at the Victoria Falls hotel, which is the premier hotel to stay when visiting the fall. The rooms are space is the hall of history the food was fantastic in the setting overlooking the bridge after the fall was spectacular. We were given a walking tour of the falls, which required a raincoat that is provided and then afterwards taken to lunch at a restaurant that was on the river right before the Falls where we could watch the water plum just out of our eyes the spray however, created rainbows above the falls that changed by the hour. Again, an unexpected surprise that we did not plan.

We spent two nights at the Falls and I wish we had spent another day as this area was spectacular, and there was many things that we would have liked to have seen however, we had a date with a plane in Johannesburg to take us to Madagascar and the island of Nosy Be. Teri Allen had suggested when I did Tanzania Safari that we do Zanzibar at the end. With this Safari and I suggested that we follow the motif and add an island. She suggested Madagascar and I agreed. After a night in Johannesburg, we arrived in Madagascar and take to the most beautiful Beachside hotel in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and that includes Hawaii. The hotel was called Vanilla Hotel and had an open air lobby, restaurants, bars, and two infinity pools. The grounds were a tropical paradise and were maintained perfectly with the beach swept daily. We were able to watch local children, fishing, looking for crabs and find nearby restaurants where we could find some of the best food I have ever eaten.

After six nights we had to leave in both my wife and I were sad. I give credit to Ranger Buck Safari Safaris and African heartland safari for planning a safari above and beyond what my expectations were. I knew a little about the areas that I was going to, and I trusted them explicitly to take on the challenge of keeping me and my wife who is recovering from chemotherapy, comfortable and safe at the time did we not feel that we could reach out and ask a question or for help or for any additional information as everything was provided for. One of the best things about using Ranger Buck Safari was an app on your phone that goes through every single day where you’re going to be what you’re going to do and at what time it will occur so you never have to carry around paperwork to check on your schedule. I had never had an application like this before and found it to be one of the best things about the trip. I would arrive at an airport and could look at each day and know which flight I was supposed to be on and how to get the ticket.

I cannot speak highly enough about how these two travel companies work together to make our 23 day vacation and Safari into experience that I will never forget. I already know I wanna go back to South Africa and Botswana and I know I will use these companies again to make this trip possible. If you’re nervous about going to Africa and not sure whether you can take on the challenge, I can assure you that these companies can make a plan for you that will meet your needs your budget and add special events and trips that you would never know about. Don’t wait. Go!

Gorilla Trecking & Kigali City Tour
5/5

Our driver Abu was professional and provided best solution for my first travel in Rwanda. We, 3 ladies, went to Volcano National Park in Kinigi for Gorilla Trecking. The experience to spent a time with the Gorilla including babies are incredible, but it’s more thann that. About 3 hours drive from Kigali to Kinigi felt very short, because we learned a lot about culture and life in Rwanda from our driver Abu. He is clever and humble driver as well as guide. He met our demands as much as possible. For example, visiting Dian Fossey Museum and Banana Beer production at Red Rock community center. Our accommodation ( 5 volcanoes) was also wonderful, and I appreciate Blue Monkey Tours a lot, and I highly recommend it to other travelers.

Amazing travel company
5/5

My experience from the time we got picked from Nairobi to the Mara was exemplary. We had a smooth drive through the rift escarpments.. At the Mara, our comfort was the ultimate goal of the tour coordinator. I would recommend the services of Lutara Safaris again... How can I forget... We got value for money.

Unforgettable Safari with a remarkable team
5/5

We’ve had one of the most unforgettable experiences in our first safari in Tanzania thanks to Kibo Mawenzi, absolutely everything we experienced exceeded our expectations.

Communication with Brian was excellent from the very beginning, he was always responsive to our needs and setbacks. Our flight was delayed by two days and there was no issue at all in postponing the safari. His flexibility, availability and ability to meet each traveler’s needs are truly remarkable.

The three guides we had during our 5-day safari - Luttiba, Omar and Silas - were impeccable. Their kindness, experience, and professionalism made it possible for us to spot animals even before many other groups. They gave us plenty of time to take photos, appreciate the animals and learn countless facts about each one.
The chefs were fantastic. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and abundant. They adapted to our vegetarian diet and prepared delicious hot meals even during the safari, when many other groups were eating from picnic boxes.

The experience itself is breathtaking, but the people who make up this company made it even more memorable. Asante sana!
