Go Granny Go Day Tour - Responsible Travel, Compelling Stories and Fun
5/5

With a day to spare in Nairobi, I looked for a tour that was not the usual tourist thing but instead offered an opportunity to meet a few local people and do support a worthwhile organization. One Horizon offered exactly that.

Booking was simple - confirmation almost instant with clear information on pickup time and place.
Carol arrived exactly as planned and drove to/from the farm location for the time spent with the 'grannies' who are supported and learn to farm to support themselves and their grandchildren. The ladies (Beatrice and Eunice) made me feel welcome and shared their stories and chapati making while explaining what the program was about and how it is impacting their lives for the better. The piglet/pigs were fun too.

Support an operator who actively works in the community to supply education and earning opportunities for the disadvantaged.
When I return I'd definitely participate again - but for more than a day tour.

Affordable Fulfilling Experience
4/5

An amazing and fulfilling arrangement by Maraka, especially the bubbly guidance to all those places we went to! Awww.. The experiences at the craters in FortPortal and in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, were really amazing, months have passed now but it all feels like yesterday. We will surely return sometime. Thanks Maraka, thanks Uganda for the great memories

Wonderful family tour
5/5

We had a wonderful family tour with Incredible Africa. Six days of safari with Joseph as our guide and driver.
He was so informative and led us to see all of the big 5 and much more! We visited 4 amazing parks; Tarangire, Ngorongoro , Serengeti and Lake Manyara and we saw so many animals in each and the scenery was so diverse and stunningly beautiful. People were very kind everywhere we stayed. The food was excellent in each location. We had such an amazing time and would recommend IAA and especially Joseph as guide!

Epic Kilimanjaro Adventure
5/5

First and foremost I have to mention that communication with Florent of Snow Africa Adventures via Email/Skype/Whatapp was really smooth. He was very helpful and flexible in tailoring our 7 day private Kilimanjaro Machame trek.
The actual trek was epic and unforgettable with our crew who did an amazing job of guiding us to the top keeping us safe and looking after our needs with great food, warm comfortable tents to the highest standards possible. They taught us so much about safe mountaineering, the animals, plants and different people of Tanzania.
The last stretch of the trek to the summit was tough struggling with mild AWS and we were lucky to have expert crew who patiently assisted and supported us to Uhuru Peak.
We are thinking of returning to Tanzania for another Adventure and hopefully Florent and your team will host us again

Amazingly thought-through & well organized program that allows to focus on exploring the country.
5/5

My positive experience started with proper assistance in planning. I communicated my expectations and SimienEco came back to me with options and suggestions prior to my trip. Once the travel started, I have to say that both the program as well as the different guides were great. As requested, the tour offered a good balance of outdoor activities (like trekking) and cultural program. The guides were all locals and very knowledgeable about the regions/places I travelled to. In the beginning, I was a little surprised that I don't "keep" the same guide/driver for the entire trip (which might be an option if you ask for it), but this also turned out to be very beneficial, since a) you have real locals as guides that - most of the time - were even born and raised in the region - and b) I met more locals that I would have met otherwise, which gives much more insight into the country.

Amazing experience
5/5

We went on an 8-day trip to Tanzania in December 2019 which was excellent. It was very well organised, we liked all the selected accommodations, well equipped Safari jeeps and our driver-guide knew a lot! Safarihub Tour operator is definitely recommendable!

About: RA Safaris
Beyond Amazing
5/5

RA Safari is the best tour operator that we could have worked with.

I found them through a reference from a relative who has traveled with RA multiple times and always had a great experience, so going in I had some peace of mind. However, Zeph, Elli, our guide and friend Salehe surpassed all expectations.

I contacted over a dozen operators and not only were RA best pricing-wise but while traveling everything was perfect and extremely professional. A big part of your safari trip is the guide and Salehe was extremely patient with all of our requests. A big purpose of my trip was taking pictures and whether 1 or 100 shot, Salehe was always patient and careful to ensure that we got the best possible angle.

All in all, if you are going for a Safari, I only have two suggestions:

1. Go with someone local rather than a non-Tanzanian operator
2. Travel with a guide who is patient, hard-working, and genuinely likes animals. This will make a huge difference to your trip.

RA Safari was the best and I whole-heartedly recommend them

Incredible experience, it's seems to be like National Geographic!
5/5

That was an unforgettable experience for me at Kibale national park! If you are wanting to see wild chimpanzees, I want to tell THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE!!! The guide Najib on our side was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke decent English. Unlike some other parks with chimp populations, Kibale is amongst the highest in the world so your much more likely to get really good views of them as opposed to just in the trees.

Best Vacation Ever
5/5

We planned our safari over a two week period just before Christmas (2018) to after the New year (2019). It was the most amazing vacation ever. First and foremost, our driver James was amazing. Besides my wife and myself, we traveled with our 30 year daughter and her husband. Within the first hour of landing on the Serengeti in Tanzania, we saw cheetahs, lions, elephants, leopards, giraffe, hippos and zebras.
Each day our safari yield the same results. From the Serengeti we moved towards the Ngorongoro Crater. We drove straight through the migration . Hundreds of Thousands of Wildebeests and Zebra. Ngorogoro Crater was amazing with lots of animals including Rhinos. (Go early in the day). Finished the trip with Tarangire (The Elephant Park) an Amboseli in Kenya. The Cultural side trips were unforgettable. Be sure to visit the Masai Village and Bush Tribe (The Hazabie Tribe) who shared there language, music and dance. We felt as if we were in a National Geographic special. The Hazabies even took us on a hunting trip. Amazing! All of our accommodations were first class. Mostly tent camps that were very comfortable with 2 Queens or one King and bathroom facilities in the back of the tent. The tents were very clean and the food was outstanding. The breakfasts were filling and had lots of choices. The African coffees were amazing. The box lunches were great and filling. Each dinner was an event. Music and singing accompanied by a tasty meal. TSA's staff was very professional and willing to make our trip unforgettable which it was.
We give Tanzania Serengeti Adventures our strongest recommendation for the best vacation we have ever been on.
