Happy with our gorilla trek
We had an amazing gorilla trek to Bwindi, thanks to the services of Ngoni Safaris Uganda. Sedrick was always amazingly quick to answer emails and this reassured us that we would get a good service come the time. The gorilla permits were sorted quickly and again good communication when we sent the money transfers.
Our driver/guide Nelson was excellent. Despite the bumpy roads, he was a very safe driver and at no point did we feel unsafe. The car was really comfy and the journey passed quickly. Nelson was happy to stop for us to take photos and would point out passing game as we travelled.
The gorilla trek itself was an amazing experience. We only had to trek for about 2 hours to find them, so we had the afternoon free to chill out. The hour with the gorillas passed in a flash, but to make it memorable we have captured lots of photos and videos.

Seeing the gorillas is fantastic!
The staff at the Ngoni Safaris Uganda can made an amazing job of getting you up into the mountain to see gorillas. We had a 3-4 hour hike to get to them quit difficult it was but once you get to the gorillas you get 1 hour with them to watch them and have some photograph with them. There are available porters for hire to walk with you and help you navigate some of the harder parts of the hiking paths and also carry your luggage like lunch and water. They all are well worth it. They ask for $15 as a charge but really deserve $20. We had totally given to that, our total experience was over 3-days.

Thank you Ngoni Safaris for making these Vacations awesome
We had a wonderful time in Uganda with Sedrick. He was a great guide and very dependable. Very polite, extremely knowledgeable and always went out of his way to ensure that we had a great time. Sedrick met us at the airport and stayed with us for the next one week. As a result, we all of us spent a great deal of time with him and enjoyed his company immensely. He is passionate about the animals and Uganda and shares this with you throughout the trip.

My experience of the masimara please read!!!
Day one consisted of the guide being 30 minutes late we were escorted into the mini bus after asking for a jeep as it was only me and my wife for the entire trip. We were asked for payment upfront that was £770 the guy who took the cash made it very clear to me and my wife that this did not include a tip! After around 10 minutes the guy who took the cash left the minibus ( I’m assuming to go back to the office) the guide and the “cook” Hardly spoke to me and my wife the majority of the journey.
When we got to the off-road road for the masimara we had seen many different animals like the zebra giraffe etc, we didn’t get to stop to take a photo of these animals but instead had to wait until we had got to the masimara. On another part of the off-road there was another minibus that had got stuck so our driver Sammy and the “cook” got out the car and abandoned me and my wife with the the vehicle. At this point we were then surrounded by the locals (children and adults ) it took around 20 minutes for our guide to return, we then continued with our trip
We finally reached the masimara and had gone on our first game drive for 2 hours. our drive consisted of what looked like Sammy catching up with his colleagues. And towing more people out of the mud. We saw an elephant which he did not stop so we could take photos! This was a very bad first game drive.
Day two of the masimara. We had woken up early to get a start in our long day of game drive, at first I was very disappointed in the lack of water available to me and my wife after all this was included in that £770 price. We drove around for a while taking photos of animals it was very hard to get a photo as Sammy wouldn’t stop moving the bus but just drove slowly. We had to ask him a few times to stop the vehicle before he finally got it! During our drive Sammy decided to go off road in the masimara ( this is not allowed) to see cheetah cubs. We just about got to where they were hiding before we turned around and returned to the road. This was because the KWS had spotted Sammy going off road. Sammy and a few other guides got out of the vehicles and spoke to the KWS (Kenya wildlife services) my wife took a photo of Sammy bribing the KWS (we thought he was paying a fine). when Sammy finally arrived back in the car we asked him what was going on. He told us he had to pay $30 to see the cheetah cubs as off roading is not allowed, this is around 3000 ksh just over. We then proceeded to drive to the cubs though I had asked Sammy not to and just let the cubs be. And I must admit when we got to the cheetah cubs they were beautiful we took a photo but felt terrible doing so. Not to mention they were not good photos because Sammy would not keep the vehicle still. We proceeded on with our drive and it was finally lunch time. We were starving! So my wife is vegan and when arranging the tour online my wife had told the office she was vegan in multiple occasions and when my wife told the cook she was vegan he was shocked after finding out what a vegan was, and asked if she ate chicken. That part is not important but it was funny. Anyway more to the point. We hadn’t eaten much before lunch and when we sat down to have our picnic she unwrapped her sandwich to find she had butter on her bread! It was a good job a monkey stole that sandwich because this was just another example of how unorganised this company really was!
Day 3 this was our final game drive after telling Sammy a few times we did not want to see the masih villages, we headed out! We took the same route as the day before and the day before that but it was a good job we went the same way again as we saw a family of lions! This was probably the best part of our trip. We stayed there for a while before everyone else started swarming in and then we left. On the way back to the gate one of the other drivers had asked Sammy if we can take some one past the gate on the way out. Now bare in mind me and my wife paid for a private tour this was that £770 I mentioned. Sammy had agreed to this and we would stop and talk to this lady and even drive past animals we wanted to photograph the drive back to the gate took around an hour.
Sammy treated our tour as he would a group tour. We would watch animals for as long as he deemed necessary he was on his phone for most of the safari either talking or texting and on a few occasions even in social media (Facebook) a few times me and my wife heard him make jokes to his colleagues about the coronavirus ( covid19 ) this wasn’t funny! And I was very annoyed by this!
I would rate this safari tour with 2 stars as from start to finish as we were greeted with just pure unprofessionalism. This tour was unprofessional disrespectful to the animals and unethical.
I ask anyone that is thinking of going with this safari tour company to please rethink! I regret my decision booking with this company!

It was the best trip that I could reminisce all my life!
We did a private 6 days safari tour around the north parks of Tanzania with Trip Quest Safaris & what an experience!! the guide David was amazing, very funny, i didn't feel for one second that he was a guide for our trip but a friend that we have known since along time.
The organization of the team was perfect!! I already know with which organization i'm climbing Kilimanjaro next year.
Thank you Martin for your help for the planning out our new adventure.

Fantastic Taswira
How lucky that I was part of a trip to Tanzania in June 2019 It was a fabulous experience due largely to our 3 Taswira guides under the overall leadership of George. Together they did their best to make sure we saw an incredible variety of animals, culture and scenery. They were knowledgeable, warm, friendly, all spoke English and very capable drivers. The trip was unforgettable and I credit Taswira with its success

5***** Safari with Ngoni Safaris!!
We've just arrived from the most amazing holidays ever: our first safari!!!
We prepared our game drives and accommodation with Ngoni Safaris that went far and beyond to meet our expectations. In well conditioned car and with our great guide - thank you Nelson! - we were able to see the big five and so many more! Bwindi Impenetrable National Park was overwhelming, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro left us in awe and the Kabale Uganda ... well... there are no words to express how excited we were! Food was good very good arranged fron company side and the lodges we they arranged were fine. Having a glass of champagne on the middle of the park, while the hyenas were walking around and a mongoose just passed under our room was an unforgettable experience!!
In the end, we left Uganda with just one thought in our minds to return ASAP! Till that Great Thanks to Ngoni Safaris..

Queen Elizabeth National Park showing a great wildlife
We visited Queen Elizabeth National Park during our two-week trip through Uganda and Rwanda. It is a beautiful park having just good the wildlife density as in places like Kenya, Tanzania, or Botswana. For this we want to strongly recommend visiting and supporting Ugandan wildlife conservation efforts. Wildlife populations here are recovering and the communities around the park are slowly discovering the benefits of responsible tourism. This Park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, but while having trip, we don’t get the chance.
The Park is broadly split into two areas, the northern section (Kasenyi) and the southern section (Ishasha). We did manage to find some lions in Kasenyi (again on the ground, not in the trees) and were very lucky to find a leopard in Ishasha. It is apparently more common to find lions in the trees in Ishasha but they do also climb up into the cactus candelabras in Kasenyi.
This Park is surrounded by many human settlements. At the end of the day this will always goes on a challenge for the wildlife population. But with the support of tourists and the continuous commitment from the Ugandan Wildlife Authority and the Ugandan government more broadly this place will have a bright future ahead.

Mesmerizing Journey to Uganda - Thanks to Arlanda Tours And Travel
It was a great experience to be so close to nature and becomes more exciting as you have to "earn the experience" by all the efforts that a traveller puts in, which gives more satisfaction. My Kudos to each of the members who has involved to our trip and make the travel such an amazing experience. Should categorically state my thanks to Babylon who was a wonderful guide/driver and was a pleasure to interact with. Very good accommodation and Great food at most of the places.
Its a great place for anybody who is looking for a trip out of box and out of comfort zones but need a sense of accomplishment. Look forward very much to a return visit...

Wonderful Experience with Spirit
My family had a wonderful experience with Ecovic Tours and Travel Uganda. They absolutely exceeded our expectations and I would recommend them without hesitation. They are honest, reliable, deeply knowledgeable and friendly.
I lived in Kampala years ago and thus went back and forth in deciding on a final itinerary. Vincent suggested different itinerary options; he was patient, super helpful, responding to all my questions within hours, adjusting our trip, providing lots of hotels and other options, and (once we finally decided) arranging hotels and internal flights between Entebbe and kisoro. Vincent brought to me attention that we had overpaid by $300, and we were reimbursed upon our arrival. Ecovic Tours & Travel Uganda driver met us at Entebbe international Airport in the late evening, which was great after 24 hours of traveling from Canada.
For 7 days, William drove us to kibale, Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi impenetrable National Park. In addition to his impressive knowledge of the countryside, wildlife and the national parks, William was friendly, funny and warm. Similarly, George was our guide at Queen Elizabeth National Park, finding lions, buffaloes, and (of course) elephants, as well as explaining the area's remarkable bird life.
Of course we all await the pandemic to end. When it does, my family is already talking about another trip to Uganda, and our choice - without hesitation - would be Ecovic Tours & Travel Uganda!.
