Excellent & Reliable
Our group of 16 people was scheduled to go to Kenya in March, 2020 which got cancelled due to the travel restrictions in place due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Our booking was a very complex one with people coming from multiple destinations on separate dates to meet up in Nairobi before heading to Olare Mara. The team at Chalo Africa never said no to any of our requests and many changes we requested during the course of the booking. They made sure everything was covered. And i knew they were good because i had gone on a trip to Tanzania which was planned by them in 2016.
I am sure there are a few other operators who can provide such service. But the way they kept in touch after the cancellation and worked out various options for us to either get a refund or credit is a statement of their character in such tough times and is truly commendable. My family and friends will definitely make this trip and Chalo Africa will be our agency of choice to plan the trip.
I would like to thank the all star team of Sangeeta, Smita and Malavika for everything and would like to wish them all the best.
Best Wishes
KK

AMAZING- MUST DO EXPERIENCE!!
We were here for a 4 days trip in January with a tour package from Frena Adventures. Having first stop at Bwindi and visited 2 or 3 families of gorillas, what an experience was that on day. The guides are amazing and you do not travel for very long as there are trackers out before you go to find the family. The rule is to stay 7 metres away from the gorillas but they come up to you. The pictures you can get of these creatures are amazing and the money you spend on seeing these creatures goes towards helping them stay alive in their natural area for as long as possible. We only spend an hour with the gorillas but It really is a must do expereince and one I would like do it again!

Bigodi Wetlands - Fabulous Birding Location
The real reason for wishlisting this location was the chimp tracking at Kibale, I had a wonderful morning at the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, thanks a lot to our guide Nelson who was very knowledgeable.
The walk takes you through different terrain; swamps and farmland, on mostly flat ground. The varied habitat increases the chances that you will encounter a wide diversity of several speceis. Show stealers were the turacos.
For Advice, Definitely go in the morning. That's when the birds are out and about. In the afternoon it gets quite hot and there is very little shade.

5***** Safari with ATAT!!
We've just arrived from the most amazing holidays ever: our first safari!!!
We prepared our game drives and accommodation with Arlanda Tours And Travel that went far and beyond to meet our expectations. In well conditioned car and with our great guide - thank you Najib! - we were able to see the big five and so many more! Bwindi Impenetrable National Park was overwhelming, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro left us in awe and the Kabale Uganda ... well... there are no words to express how excited we were! Food was good very good from Arlanda and the lodges we they arranged were fine. Having a glass of champagne on the middle of the park, while the hyenas were walking around and a mongoose just passed under our room was an unforgettable experience!!
In the end, we left Uganda with just one thought in our minds: to return ASAP!

Sensational destination at Uganda-Lake Bunyonyi
In South Western Uganda, Lake Bunyonyi is one of the best few serene attractions as far as tranquillity and peacefulness goes. We found that they had some very nice affordable accommodation just at a short distance from the lodge, provided by our tour company Freka. We all especially loved the boat trip and would love to do it again and again. I daresay it is quite a long ride from Kampala though and it takes some couple of hours. I could not complain about anything. It’s all loved every thing there.

Rwenzori Mountains are Great to visit
During our 10 days tour with Ngoni Safaris , we visit to Rwenzori Mountains and it was really a great time to be there with my great friends. It was the best thing i have even got in all my life. Rwenzori Mountains are the most highlight of our trip. Knowledgeable, professional, kind and generous guides. The meals were tasty and delicious, and the drinks were very cheap and in plenty. by the time we left Kasese, i was relaxed and rejuvenated for the rest of the year.

Lake Mubro- great park with few visitors
Lake Mburo National Park is kind of great place to visit for 2 or 3 days. I went with my wife and our two young daughters. We stayed at Rwakobo Rock lodge that is provided as accommodation by Ngoni Safaris. We reached at park around 9pm, after that we leave for Lake Mburo National park via Masaka-Mbarara where have our lunch. At park, there were a couple of hippos in water. We were expecting to see Zebras, Impala herds, Warthogs, water bucks and we had that opportuniy.
The boat trip on the lake is an opportunity to see many hippos, a couple of crocodiles, and a lot of birds. Our guide/ranger was very nice, spoke good english, and having good details all about we were concerning about while viewing the things. We ate lunch at the small restaurant on the lake.
We then did a nature walk with our ranger, It was a rare experience to be able to walk in a park amongst the wildlife. This is an advantage to visiting a park without many predators. The walk was easy and with wonderful views, if not spectacular, were still a breath of fresh air from life in Kampala.
I recommend Lake Mburo to anyone with a love for nature, particularly birds, though there are no elephants, leopards are difficult to spot.

If you want to experience wildlife and Africa-visit here
I am a wildlife lover and have always wanted to see the wildlife in their natural habitat, and fortunate to do all that. This time to I went to Tanzania on a tour package with Arlanda Tours And Travel and It satisfies something in my soul. We saw all the wildlife that can be imagine. Elephants, rhino, lions mating, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, hippos, ostrich, crocodiles -truely can say it was heaven on earth. The scenery and weather were excellent, the lodge that we stayed at in the Serengeti was unique, the food they prepared for us was amazing - the kitchen area was so small. Our transportation made by company was better than what we had in Namibia, and our guide (Najib) were so patient, and knowledgeable. when one of our group members was excited to know the name of one bird that we saw then our guide told him in a very clear manner and correctly spelled it out "B-A-T-E-L-E-U-R". (But he also spelled it out several times.) We had a guide and two rangers and all of them were wonderful, very kind, very accommodating, and we made new friends with them. On the last day of tour, there on our morning game drive we saw on the right hand side of the road a male lion and a lioness and it just looked to be so deadly. Then our guide looked on the other side and there were another male lion and lioness. Both of them was sitting down but the male had his head up, at that particular moment I got a good shot of his head and eyes. Then he got up and started to walk over to deep grasses. We did also saw a leopard. Normaly it is very rare to find a leopard in a open area but we had this unique pleasure. One of the lady in our group, it was her eighth time visit to this place and this was the first time she had ever seen a leopard. So we were fortunate enough. And it was never forgettable experience.
