Fall in love with Kenya
The safari was great! We experiend a lot which was very unique, and different from our previous experience. Animals were many and we saw all big five. Hotels were luxury because of Fairmont Hotel Brand. Driver guide was nice. Jong was professional in making itinerary for us. We will come back again next year!

The perfect experience with a perfect team!!
It was my first time doing the safari but for sure not the last! With no expectation of what is coming I was overwhelmed with the wildlife and beautiful nature . Each place has something different to offer - animals , views and nature . Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Hard to explain how empowering the connection with nature is .
I have to mention that the team was exeptualy professional, Magic Mike was the driver and the knowledge he has and attention to the guest made the whole thing very amazing.he made sure every need is taken care of , made his best to showcase every beauty and animal there is to see and overall made my 4 days an amazing and unforgettable journey.
Richard was the cook and I have to say that the food was excellent! Hot meals for every taste , fresh fruits ,deserts, and what not ! Very talented cook and very humble and kind person .
Overall cannot recommend more for that team in particular, both of them made my trip better in every way !!

A week-long. Superb tour - Uganda
Beautifully crafted and taking us through the long history of the stalactites and stalactites, hot springs was a superb experience. I can not forget the walks through the natural forests, boat cruising, camp fire, sumptuous meals, extraordinary accommodation. The rides on the roads were marvelous. It was the best holiday I have ever experienced. Thanks to Marana Safaris for the meticulous care to my comfort.

Impressed with every detail provided on each request. The trip was a very memorable adventure.
Recently, we returned from Uganda where we had a fascinating family tour. Everything was exceptional, well organised. We saw so many incredible sites, hot spots and have unforgettable memories of animals, birds, crater lakes among others. Your help and efforts in organising this trip is appreciated. We will not hesitate to recommend your company to our friends. We hope that we stay in touch in order to organise other tours for the future. Thank you very much!

Very close attention to details and clients satisfaction
Loved all the details starting with the joyful smile waiting at the airport to the professional way of dealing with my panic attack down to packing and unpacking support and safari laser eyes to spot the best scenes and wild life action.
Food wasn’t good. But again u don’t expect a feast in the middle of the wild

Amazing
Spectacular activity well organized. Highly recommended!
Everything went as planned and described in this activity! Both transportation to and from (arriving at your exact time), visiting Prison Island (both the giant tortoises and a large part of an old slave prison), and ending with Nakupenda beach (where they offer a huge tray of fruit and a seafood platter), it was indeed great!
Thank you all for this experience, really highly recommended on your visit to Zanzibar!

Good price, bad safari.
If you can only afford a budget safari and just want good pictures of animals, then this one might be a good option. The cost includes all meals, park entrance fees, transport and everything was well organised. However, if you would like a good safari with nice animal encounters, then I'd recommend going with another operator.
We were driven around in the Masai Mara for 3 days by Isaac from Jocky Tours. Isaac had his radio on constantly, listening out for reports of sightings. As soon as a sighting was reported (which was pretty much constantly, the charm of the Mara!), he'd put the accelerator down and drive full pelt to the sighting location. You'd be thrashed around at the back of the vehicle. Isaac would go off road at every possible opportunity. The Mara is scarred with tyre tracks, even though guides are supposed to stick to the roads. Once we'd reached the animal, Isaac would do all he can to get in the path of the animal, and as close as possible. Sadly, most other cars had the same idea, making the animals very stressed as lots of cars (most of the time 15+ cars) fight to move within 2 metres of them. As the animals move, the cars move too, constantly creeping closer and interrupting their path. This meant that most of our animal encounters were actually just distressing, rather than enjoyable. This appears to be a problem with most drivers in the mara, not just Isaac, and needs to be sorted.
We asked Isaac if he could slow down, stop driving in the animals path and we said we did not want to go close to the animals and cause them stress. However, he didn't listen and continued to do as he liked.
There were a few nice moments with animals, where we asked Isaac to stop and turn the car off. But any peace was disrupted by the radio or him on the phone. He'd also decide quite quickly that he was bored and start the car and drive off, cutting our nice moments with animals short.
I left the Mara feeling quite sad, realising that the chaotic and cruel interactions between animals and the drivers that I'd experienced, most likely happen on a daily basis.
If you are looking for an enjoyable safari and a guide that actually cares about the wildlife, I would not recommend Jocky Tours. Despite the price tag for this Jocky tour trip being so appealing, I'd recommend finding another operator and being clear to them before booking about what type of safari you'd like to go on.

Great Migration Expeditions
We recently returned from a 6-day migration safari with Jordan as our guide and driver. He was extremely knowledgeable and took us to see all of the big five and much more! We visited four incredible parks: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara, and saw a variety of animals and stunning scenery in each. Everywhere we stayed, the people were so nice; Katikati tented lodge, Hill top tree lodge, Serena lodge - all very nice and different. In each location, the food was excellent. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Kitau Tanzania Safafis and, in particular, Jordan as a guide! Tanzania is stunning
