I was very happy with the food and the quality of the equipment. It was nice that the staff came to see me before the safari to trek and made sure I had all the necessary equipment. My experience with travel partners from the start to finish was amazing! I reached out looking to do a Safari and Zanzibar, and travel partners helped me come up with the best itinerary for me. I got quick responses and quick solutions. I loved how flexible travel partners were with what I wanted to get out of my experience. We stayed at the Manyara Safari Lodge for the Safari and it was excellent! The facilities were clean and peaceful and the staff were very lovely! I would recommend travel partners time and time again to anyone that asks!

Incredible Tanzania trip thanks to Mazingira
We just returned from our 15-day Safari + Zanzibar honeymoon trip, and we must share how amazing this experience was. We are very happy that we chose Mazingira to plan and host our trip. We had the pleasure of working with Florida, our coordinator, who was very welcoming, experienced, and exceptionally committed to designing our itinerary according to our vision with professional recommendations. The Mazingira team was very flexible and empathetic regarding alternative starting times, options for lodges and shortening/enlarging our stay in Tanzania. Upon request, it was straightforward to extend the initial Safari idea to a combined Safari + Zanzibar experience. Most importantly, we feel that we received very high quality and value for the price we paid. :)
* My advice: Mazingira has a great portfolio of lodges they work with, so keep exploring alternatives with them until you find the best fit in terms of experience and budget. (In central Serengeti, we highly recommend “The Singing Grass”)
Special shout out to our guide, Tom, who made this trip honestly an unforgettable experience. He was at all times committed to giving us a unique insight into the nature and culture of Tanzania. His decades of experience as a safari guide gave us a distinct advantage over other groups, allowing us to experience a lot of variation and unique moments.

Paul organised our trip from our departure in Dar Es Salaam, over Iringa Town through Ruaha National Park, Udzungwa Mountains, and back to Dar Es Salaam. The communication was clear and he listened carefully to our wishes and needs. Driver Godfrey drove us in a comfortable bus safe all the way. In the National parks, we did lovely safaris in comfortable 4x4 vehicles. The guides (Paul and Alex) showed us the most beautifull corners of the park, and the animals living in the park. There was more than enough drinks and food was delicious. We expierienced very good service, value for money! I can really recommend this company over all.

Amazing experience!
I booked a private 1-day Zanzibar to Selous safari for my family (2 adults and 3 young children who are all 6 and under). We initially booked for 4th September however the plane flight was cancelled. Shammah Wonders worked hard to get us on another trip to Selous and we ended up going the day before which was no problem for us and were very pleased with the customer service in resolving this issue! The safari itself was AMAZING!! We saw warthog, elephants, giraffe, lions eating a buffalo, hippos, antelope, crocodiles, monkeys, baboons, hyena (eating a baby giraffe :( and lots of vultures trying to get a look in). Our guide Eli was amazing. The trip ran smoothly save for a bit of a delay with our flight back (1hr 30mins delay). Would definitely recommend.

Extraordinary experience we‘ll never forget with the best team - highly recommended!
From the moment we got in touch with Iddy we knew we had made the right choice. Iddy responded super fast to our emails and was never tired to answer any question we had. We booked a private 6 day camping tour to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Lake Manyara. Payment ahead went very smoothly and reliable.
The trip was perfectly tailored to our needs and of our two sons (aged 8&11) who loved every minute of it. Our guide Erick never got bored of the endless question of our kids and surprised us with his extensive knowledge in perfect English and German. Our chef Albarick cooked up amazing food on a camping stove - always a highlight at breakfast, lunch or dinner time. Thank you both for making this trip so special for us.

Once in a lifetime experience!
We did a 6-day tour with Makario Safaris, with Jean-Marie as our guide. Makario Safaris was extremely flexible with the planning to create the best experience based on our travel requirements (we had a late flight on our last day, so they suggested changing our itinerary to do things in the reverse order than planned) and what we wanted to see. Jean-Marie was an amazing guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and very passionate about biodiversity and Rwanda. He knew all of the wildlife and how to spot them. We didn't have to worry about anything on our trip because everything was planned so well, yet still flexible in case plans changed or the weather was bad. We paid a very fair price for our whole trip, very good food and hotels. Our trip to Rwanda was an unforgettable experience for our first time in Africa. We highly recommend Makario Safaris and also Jean-Marie as a guide!
