Perfect driver/guide
Our experience with Explorer Kenya was very good. We booked from our home country and all communication with the administrative staff was immediate and excellent. The car we were served, a Land Cruiser prepared, was ideal for us (8 people). We all had access to a window, the car was comfortable and had all the amenities. Perhaps we lacked a small fridge to cool refreshments but we didn't miss it much. The driver/guide, Daniel, was always kind and considerate of our attitude. If we wanted to talk he told us everything we needed to know about culture and nature (he has an encyclopaedia in his brain!!!). When we wanted peace and quiet, he kept the conversation in a calm tone. An excellent person. I would definitely recommend this company, and especially Daniel, to everyone.

Expert, precision knowledge - putting us in exactly the right place +date for a mega river crossing!
Clyde from Tailormade Africa spent time with us during the booking phase - answering questions and providing expert advice and insight into how to get the best out of our "wish list" safari to see migratory herds and a Mara river crossing with all the dust and drama we had hoped for. Clyde could not have been more spot on. He put us in a Alex Walker's Serian Mobile Lamai camp - carefully chosen to be on a much quieter side of the Mara - in THE exact right place and THE exact right dates to realise our dream. His passion and knowledge were exemplary compared to other safari booking agents we have used in the past and he made the logistics/details seamless meaning we did not have to worry about organising anything from the moment we landed in Tanzania to the moment we left.
On THE day after we arrived, we saw the first MEGA crossing of the Mara for this year's migration - with some of our fellow guests leaving that day having waited a week on their tours. It was incredible - the landscape just emptying of wildebeest as they flowed into the crossing point valley as thousand upon thousand wildebeest and zebra crossed.
Clyde also encouraged us to get out of our comfort zone and try a tented camp with bucket showers and rustic luxury - experience of a lifetime. We saw cheetah, leopard, lions hunting (and eating dinner!), huge herds of zebra/wildebeest/elephants, hippos galore gently bobbing up and down and a tower of 11 giraffe ++++ - incredible advice on the best camp / guiding to see wildlife.
Clyde also only recommends camps known for great guiding - we certainly had this at Alex Walker's Serian with our guides not only spotting animals but also taking time to explain local medicinal plants and teach us about next construction in a quiet moment in the shade. Clyde's advice really was spot on/faultless - his connections are probably also to thank for getting us a free upgrade to a family tent. He also stayed in touch along our trip - answering a question about check in for one of our flights almost instantly ... and explaining with his years of African experience that we should not worry but that our name would magically appear on the manifest - and it did!

Professional and serious with a focus on sustainability.
This a company that will take care of their customers for the whole process from the first email until after the safari. I am very happy and satisfied with both the safari, the safari guide (Samwel) and their office/administration.
Every request we had before and during the safari was quickly taken care of.
They made sure that we saw everything we wanted during the safari and also a lot of animals and birds that we didn’t expect to see at all.
Also the accommodations and the meals were up to standard. We can highly recommend Endito Nagol for the best safari experience in Tanzania :)

It was an amazing adventure!
We are totally amazed by our safari!
Our safari guide Lucas was the best person we could wish for that trip, he made a lot of effort to provide us the best view of animals. Despite that we didn’t have the best camera, we could take very good pictures! Animals were so close! Our guide was patient and oriented to our satisfaction. And what a nice person he I s!
The nature itself- Amboseli, Masai Mara - we didn’t expect it can look like that: so many animals, spectacular views, colors of Kenia are like nowhere else!
The process of booking was also a pleasure. André gave us as much information as possible, he was alwayavailable to ask all our questions (those “stupid” ones too), and prepared the itinerary that totally fulfilled our expectations. You really can rely on his recommendation.
We have chosen quite “basic” option for our accommodation, and they still were so good (especially Kibo Safari Camp in Amboseli - what a vibe is there!)

Always there to help and make you smile, these guides are incredible and love their country. They made us discover Tanzania's culture, animals, people, food in the happiest and safest way. A young and dynamic Tanzanian company who offers personalized tours.
From my first email sent to our last debriefing a few hours before leaving, communication was always great with African Big Cats. Lovoy our guide was nothing short of amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in travelling to Tanzania. Their capacity to adapt was really helpful during pur 13 days trip!

Excellent, well organised tour that exceeded our expectations
We had a great time with Jack as our guide on safari.
He was so enthusiastic and keen to find the animals for us. He is a very good driver and we felt safe at all times despite difficult driving conditions with rain and heavy traffic on the roads.
The tents are a good value option for accommodation with the brick built bathrooms on the back. The food was very good and the chef at our camp,Tito, was very friendly and hard working.
We did 2 nights at Masai Mara and then 1 night at lake Navisha. This gave us the opportunity to see the Big 5 and so much more. From what others said to us, we benefited from having Jack as one guide for the whole trip. Some are switched between vehicles/drivers which can affect the experience.
All email communication beforehand was responded to promptly.

excellent value, would recommend
Excellent value and would recommend to anyone looking for a mid-range safari! This was the best price I found after contacting 8 agencies, and everything was very good.
I did the 3-day joining safari as a solo female traveler and felt very comfortable. Communications via email were quick and smooth. The accommodation, Jambo Mara, was nicer than I expected. It had clean rooms, a pool, and a gym with mostly working equipment. The food from Jambo Mara was fine - buffet style so lots of options, but nothing special. Bring snacks if you’re picky. The game drives were very good, and we saw all of the big 5. I think game drives between tour groups are pretty similar because you see a lot of the same vehicles at the same stops. Our driver for the trip was not very chatty, but did a great job navigating the terrain and finding animals and I had a great time.
